yeah there is a deadliest catch game for pc that came out some years back with voice over and videos tutorials from the deadliest catch crew too was quite nice
This is another "title" from a Polish software publisher called Playway. They specialize in pumping out tons of garbage software, usually under the genre of "simulation". What they do is take old titles of theirs that they no longer support, copy the code, often exactly, replace some image maps, meshes and assets, and then launch a kickstarter for it claiming a new title, all the while getting free up-front cash for something that has already been paid for development, often multiple times over. Because they just keep recopying their code, it's often bug ridden because they are too cheap and too lazy to remove the extraneous code that references the other title, and they just add new code into and over top of the old, which creates bloated and convoluted code that runs poorly and uses massive amounts of system resources to run. They rarely put out multiplayer games because that costs money and requires talent that they seem to consistently lack. Additionally, if they made their "games" multiplayer, it would greatly accelerate the process of discovering that their games have extremely little content, which they try to hide by making every game full of multiple, slow, tedious processes that have to be done by a single player, to drag out the game play to try to simulate actual content. They have huge amounts of titles on Steam that consistently get terrible reviews. A very small amount of their titles get mixed reviews at best, and in very rare cases, they actually make a game or sim that is not a complete monetary rip-off. Their process is to kickstart new games that they are just copying from old stock, issue a few updates, and then drop support for the title. When one of their developer or publisher "companies" seems to have reached the limit of how much negative Pr they have taken, they abandon the company names, create new ones, and carry one duplication old titles as new kickstarter projects. That's why they use "Ultimate Games S.A." instead of Playway. Playway is notorious for low grade software, and when Ultimate Games gets to the same spot, they'll dump that name and create another one again. Playway works out of Warsaw, and there is no accountability for the low grade software they pump out. This Deadliest Catch is another TV gig they scored, similar to Gold Rush: The Game which was rushed out to meet the start date of the TV series' new season. Gold Rush was another title they did a huge kickstarter for, and is a bug ridden piece of garbage, still in a beta state, that was almost a direct copy of their other title Giant Machines. Giant Machines was another simulator that they did 2 patches for, soon after release, and then dropped support for it. Gold Rush, like Deadliest Catch, are multiplayer games that were made single player because there was no real content and multiplayer would highlight that fact, and require the devs to make more, real content, which they have no intention of doing. If you are foolhardy enough to buy this title, don't be surprised if playway claims they can't/won't include multiplayer because their game engine can't/won't support it, like they did with Gold Rush, even the the game engine DOES have full support for multiplayer.
They released plenty of games with positive reviews like House Flipper, Cooking Simulator, Car Mechanic Simulator 2018, Thief Simulator, etc. Not like you have to buy the low quality ones.

Honestly it looks like a cheap version of Fishing: Barents Sea which in itself is still a little under-developed but has much more detail and more aspects of fishing too it. I like this game, it does look nice and seems to be a fairly good tribute to the TV series but it is a little underwhelming especially compared to FBS which will be its main competitor. Great video as always though and thanks for the early access look!

Looks good. What I'd really love is an Alaska The Last Frontier homesteading game. Find a piece of land, build your house, hunt, farm, cattle drives, fishing, etc. All the stuff that's on the show.

The Original Game was top. But this is Ages away from a good Game or being close to the show i only Hope they don‘t do the same mistake like on Gold Rush and cut out NPCs normaly u should do Captain Stuff and there should be a npc Crew Running around on deck
Have you ever accidentally thrown the good crab overboard instead of the discard pile? I feel like while rushing you might mistakenly grab the good pile and toss it before realizing lol.

Be nice Jeff if at times you told us how big a computer we need for some of these games, for example the one on this video. Can it be played on a eight meg lap-top? Do you need any special joy sticks or controllers, etc. ? Other than that, looks like a cool game coming out, more of a "sit down and do game" than say ATS or ETS, and hopefully not the memory hog of GTA.......... These are all things would be nice to know. I was taken by surprise with GTA so now I'm leary to down-load new games. The only thing I have right now is ATS.

Well if its like the old dedliest catch alaskan storm game ,you could choose crew with skills for each position on the ship like cook first aid crane control baiting and so on..plus mechanical failures for engine/hoses/crane and crew injuries could be triggerd by heavy weather inexperienced fishermem..over all if they use the old gameplay combined with those graphics this game will be a clear 9/10!(for the current fishing simulator games)

The first one was better... This game actually sucks and its boring. At least the first one Alaskan Storm provided a Crew selection so you could just concentrate on catching crab. This release has gone totally nuts and backwards, Even the sea graphics are terrible compared to Alaskan Storm
First impressions, this game looks quite good, and certainly looks like it may be a lot better than Fishing Barents Sea, which, to be honest was a big disapointment for me. The game has been released on Steam today which is kind of why I'm watching this to try and find out as much information about it as possible, and so far, I like what I'm seeing. I used to be involved in the fishing industry in the UK, and the closest we have to King Crabs are Spider Crabs, and the male and female spiders look very similar to the male and female king crabs.
You allowed ur buoys to pile up by the rail, as a result your friend fell overboard... Do you A. Stop and lose time, fuel, and some of ur catch to save him B. Keep going and notify the Coast Guard of his location C. Caulk the wagon and float
So basically you fishing for crabs and you have to do everything all by yourself. It will become boring and repetitive very quickly. I mean who goes crab fishing on a boat like that all by themselves! Instant fail!

Have to set the pots further apart. When they're too close, one pot draws all the crabs and the next one in line is close to empty.

This is not much better then Deadliest Catch "Alaskan Storm" which I played 10y ago at least back then you have a crew on the deck, this game graphics is nice but you are kinda lonely
