    I got this from my aunt and a small dryer too. I had no idea it connects to a sink. I was trying the w/d hookups in my apartment and it was the same size not a bit bigger so I couldn’t screw out on. Now I know it’s for the sink. Thank you so much 7 years old video!

    I have this and love it!! Changed my life! No more laundry mat..... It's perfect for a NYC apartment. I do a load whenever I want, I have a clothes line in my guest bedroom, hang things on hangers and they're dry in a couple of hours cause it spins so well! She's my Tasha the washa!! Love her!

    I have had the exact same model for about a year now. You had enough clothes for a full load, not medium. I have never had that happen where it was knocking like that. Although, for things with hooks, like bras, I put them in a zippered mesh bag to keep it from hooking onto other clothes. If you want to change the type of load, you have to push the on/off button then choose the cycle again, not what you did in the beginning. Also, the load wasn't quite done when you pushed the off button. It will spin, stop, spin, stop, etc., then when it's all done it will stop and beep about 6 times.
    I am very happy with my machine. Mine doesn't have the clip-on thing for the faucet, though. I think I will go look for one tomorrow!

      @@shalenef.5143 - Thanks. I never saw that comment. Link usually comes off in the dryer. I had been living in a travel trailer and used it all the time. I moved into a small house with a washing machine, so it went to one of my daughters. Now it's going to another daughter who is in an apartment with no washing machine. It's making the rounds.

    I had one of these (can't remember which model) for about 5 years before i sold it. Yep, sold it. As far as i can tell it's still going. Only problem i had was the empty water cycle because the hose would pop up out of the drain sometimes. Grabbed a couple of hand weights and used them for holding the empty hose and never had that problem again. Also DO NOT OVER LOAD IT!! If you do over load it will break and be unrepairable as the motor will be blown after awhile. Neighbor wouldn't follow the instructions or my advice and it was in the garbage in about 6 months. I really liked the dryer too. It was great in bad weather and since i didn't overload it either it was sold with the washer. I am thinking about buying another. Almost forgot...Don't put anything on the lid door. I put a basket of dirty items on top and the weight cracked it. I repaired it myself using glue but...just a word to the wise.

    It's really cool that there's a series of loud beeps when it's finished. Much like how a Microwave Oven beeps. So you can stick it in the bathroom and close the door to cover up the noise of the water swishing around, and hear the loud beeps when it's done.

    I am so..........glad you guys made this video!!!!!
    I tried pouring water in with a bucket because no matter what I did I COULD NOT hook the hose up to ANY sink! I even tried slowly pouring water into the hose with a small pitcher and ALL of the water came out of the drain.
    Now I clearly can see that I have to go to take a trip to the hardware store and buy the attachment for my sink🙃
    It was quite when I used the spin cycle.
    I am short so I used a square board with an upside down empty milk crate under the washer so that may have helped make it quieter?
    It doesn’t spin that long and drains much quicker if it drains on top of a table, box or crate.
    By the way I think your pregnant feet are adorable and when I was very pregnant I would always get a pedicure with French manicure with cute designs over the French tip😍

    I have this same one I STUFF IT COMPLETELY OVER STUFF MINE and I use heavy setting to my surprise I realized it actually rinsed a second time. So use heavy setting it will give you a extra rinse. Don't be afraid to stuff it I've had mine that I got used for a yr now and I've not broken it by stuffing it and yes still cleans clothes very well on heavy I also use hot water but clean everytime. Also if you hold down the water level botton it adds water as well.

    I have the same model washing machine and that loud noise happened with my washing machine. It turns out that it was the drain hose which was not properly secured to the inside. On the inside the drain hose was hitting something as the washer was spinning. After the drain hose was secured the washer never made that loud noise.

    I had one that just gave out, the plastic cover broke, so be careful where you put the the hoses. I usually used the higher water level. I had it for a little over 4 years and did move once. Did have to change the black hose, had some trouble with the connection at sink as it could spray out if it's not tight. I am looking for a new one right now and a Haier dryer which also went at the same time. Don't overload either one.

Work great for that. But pant, towels coats blankets are for the front loader. Although I did do some big towel in it and it did them just fine. Yes, that might have been the issue, for it looks smaller than my 11 lb.load Haier. It looks like a 5 or 6 lb. load washer. Like a spin dryer that is not loaded properly/over loaded, it will make some clanging noises. Sounds like someone failed to read the instruction manual carefully. In my view point, this type of portal is ONLY GREAT FOR a larger apt or duplex apt. I have invested in 3different types of portable washer machines including this one, but I got rid of it because it was just to wide and big for my small apt. I now purchased the 20lbs costway mini compact portable washer machine and I LOVE IT BETTER THEN my other 2 portable washer machines just because of the size plus I'm able to use it in my bathtub verses in my small apt kitchen and risking sometimes the house falling off and water flooding my poor kitchen. This Haier was a headache for me, just to big.

    I have this machine now but I had the same issue with the spinner on my twin-tub (same function, different set-up). If it is over-full or out of balance it will knock. Sometimes the centrifugal force will settle the clothes but often enough I had to open the lid and redistribute or take a few pieces out of my twin tub (wet=heavy). It says right on the description how much weight you can put in it and I haven't made the same mistake with this machine but I don't know too many people who literally weigh their clothes before they add them to the machine.

I loved it until the spin side started making that loud vibrating noise six months after I purchased it. Now the spin side doesn't work at all. I wanted to get it repaired but the company was of no help at all. Once you buy it..you're on your own. Aside from that and the flimsy lint catcher ..it was fun while it lasted.

    Ì would not press buttons when in the middle of filling that is a good way of breaking the washer. My daughter's boyfriend did that to my washer . He was impatient and broke it.

    i read amazon that the fan looking cover at the bottom of the tub is removal. once removed there should be 4 holes set for screws but only one screw installed. once 3 more screws are bought and installed, the sound goes away.

      sorry, the review regarding the screws was on the Target website and not Amazon.

      +Andrew Shin That sounds like a return and Target didn't properly replace everything. That bottom plate you are referring to comes unassembled and is the first thing you see when you open box. There are six screws and its packaged separately to fasten the bottom plate to the underside of the washer.

      No, up above is a review and comments from another user. He also states it's on the inside of the tub. I'm assuming it's the wash plate that spins counterclockwise to the tub. It seems that his wash plate only had one screw too when it should have had four. The customer in question put all four screws in and it no longer vibrates/makes sounds.

    when you are placing clothes in there, make sure its as balanced as possible, it will spin better. again i love mine and i've had it for a good long time, i'd give it a 9 out of 10. the only thing i'd like for it to have are a few more places to hang the hose on

    The reason your machine was making noise ? Is because your clothes were not balanced in the drum they have to be perfectly balanced so it won't do that.it's the same with a very big machine if the clothes are all to one side? The machine will spin crazy, hope that helps but I gather four years later you know that already... But I thought I would share my input nevertheless. From Shawn in Montreal Quebec Canada.💙🇨🇦

    the only complaint I have with this vid: Put the clothes in first. then the soap, then the water. that way they get a pre-rinse and they wash more evenly.

    I had no idea they made small affordable washers like this. I definitely will be getting one, I can't afford the laundry mat, too expensive. I live in a small one bedroom upper flat. How much was this one?

  • @knittinggirl13
    @knittinggirl13 6 років тому +1

    Not convinced. Did you get paid for this review or got the product for free on the review? There is too many thumbs down. Would you recommend that with true honesty to someone that actually can't afford a washer having a clear conscience?

    • @JamesHuang1
      @JamesHuang1 6 років тому

      Silvia Schwarz (Sikes) wow! I wish we got paid! No we are not bound to this washer in any way. I would recommend it in the same way I said so on the video. It’s good for us as an alternative to the shared apartment washer which is often occupied by our neighbors and with a baby, laundry would become a much more immediate and regular need for us. It’s also only for small kid clothes as mentioned. If you’re a single person and want a small washer for yourself this would be good for small quantity loads too. It’s not for everyone and depends on your situation. Our landlord would not allow us to install a washer in our apartment so this was our next best option. My conscious is always clear. :)

    If I had to have a portable washer I’d probably get this? And you’re wife has a cool accent where is she from? I live in a house built in 1957 so we have a washer and dryer hookup so yeah but we keep talking about traveling a lot and my mom hated going to laundry mats. Back when we lived in our rv. She even hated the RV resort on site laundry rooms cause people stole our blankets and stuff lol

    I am so frustrated with this whole washer purchase. I ordered it from Target and got it June 1st. June 2nd I started to connect it when I noticed that the metal adapter that you screw onto the faucet had two large holes in it, I contacted the support line, they apologized and said they shipped me a new one. Well I got the part today and they sent me the wrong freaking Part. So now its almost been two weeks and I still haven't been able to use this stupid thing and I'm starting to wonder now if this washer was even brand new since one of the main parts that you need to use it came damaged. the customer support line is closed right now so I am going to have to call in tomorrow to bitch to them. I'm probably just better off returning it to Target and just saying screw it.
