I remember one time when I wanted to buy a furry pom bag charm but it said the item could not be shipped to my country due to restrictions….yet the seller was from UK so go figure! 🤯 Thanks for doing this video and I look forward to watching the rest of the series. You bring up a lot of great tips in this video! This platform can be an excellent place to find amazing deals on luxury. You just have to be smart and stick to brands you're comfortable buying pre-loved (older gucci and LV items are easier to authenticate 😉).
I am looking foward to the VC series. I would be particulary interested in how to sell an item, since we have no access to fashonphile in Germany. For 8 weeks I have been offering a Prada tote at VC, but unfourtunaly no one is interested in it....

It's been a month my money won't come to me (they keep telling they can't verify my card and Id once the five days waiting is over, then I confirm everything, then they tell "the money is sent" and once five days are over the situation repeats in circle.) what should I do? They ignore my complains and my asking for receipts of the payment and phone numbers...
Unfortunately VC doesn‘t offer telephone support (at least not in Germanyj. You have to wait, until they answer your email (or you can try the chat, which is terrible and seems to be just operated by bots). Unfortunately I don’t have a better advice for you, since their customer service is just the worst 😫

If you're looking for pre-loved designer in the UK, I offer free postage and all my designer items are purchased from a long established auction house which are authenticated prior to auction.

It depends, if you chose direct shipping, or Vestiaire Collective authentification. The seller has up to one week to sent the item (to VC, or directly to you). VC can take up to 5 days for the authentification and up to 5 more for the shipping. So you should usually get your order within 5 - max. 18 days. Hope that helps ☺️

Hi, unfortunately you can not return any items, that you bought from private sellers (even if they are trusted sellers) - so if you want to be safe, you have to stick to professional sellers. Unfortunately I just recently made the experience, that I bought a bag, that was listed as „very good condition“ and I recieved a bag that is completely scratched. VC didn’t accept a return. I have to film an updated video about my experience with the plattform, cause at the moment unfortunately I‘m very disappointed

What happens after you put in a bid along with other bidders? Does the seller pick the highest bid after a certain amount of time then your chance at the bag is gone unless you choose the add to bag option and buy immediately at set price?
Hi Sam, the bidding option was messed up for quite a while: when a seller went into negotiation with one bidder, he wasn’t able anymore to accept any other bids from other buyers - even if they were willing to pay more (you just were not able to accept any other option, than from the person you were already in negotiation with). I don’t know if VC finally fixed that. The safest way to get an intem actually is to buy it immediately at a set price (even if the seller was in negotiation with someone, if the item gets sold, it‘s sold 😁)
guys plz help I sold a TNF bomber to a guy on vestiaire and he is claiming that he received an other jaket (a piece of shit). Now he is going to refund the order, so he will keep his money and my bomber and I will only receive the shitty jacket he claimed. What should I do???
Contact the VC customer support as quickly as possible and let them know, what happened. Insist to get your money and tell them, they can keep the jacket. If they are not willing to find a solution, let them know you will get a lawyer involved (even if you do not actually plan to do so 😅). They have to make sure the transaction is safe for both sides! To prevent something like that to happen, I always film, how I package sold items up and show the final shipping lable with tracking-number. In case a buyer would try to scam me, I would have an evidence. If your buyer has a very new profile, chances are, VC believes you, that he is the one that is not trustworthy. Good luck!

They apparently belive the customer because he sent them pictures of the "jaket" and asked me if I took a picture before sealing the package. (I didn't) replied so to them stating the fact that there is no utility about it because as a seller I could have still changed the content of the box before shipping it. I didn't even got a reply about the fact that my bomber is missing and that I am going to receive a refund of an item which isn't mine. Sorry for bad eanglish And thanks for the support.

Haha, unfortunately I already sold it through Vinted a while ago. It is a sunglasses rack (that I got for free from my optician, when they changed their decor 😎). I used it for SLGs instead of sunglasses

@@AdamRidgway1 I have a huge Chanel poster and Bulgari display case for jewelry from that same optician aswell. These items are so great, no idea if they don't know, they could sell them for quite some bucks, or they just decided to not do it, since it's not allowed to sell them on 😁
selling/buying used is fine.... however, VC's customer service and quality is non-existent. Be careful on every stage of your purchase as they select "product authenticity verification" which is 1. expensive 2. yields no written certificate (worthless) 3. places your pre-loved product into VC's fumbly careless fred flintstone hands to repackage ahead overseas shipment. VC issue/request page is intentionally incomplete - flagging your issue as incomplete and un-sendable without specifying your Country (the page offers no Country selection window). Resist the urge to make this company your regular retail stop. VC is Fly by night and we can expect them to be gone soon.

Vestiaire Collective, are one of the nastiest sites to buy from. They are vile to deal with.
It can be a hit or a miss 😅. But over the years I did make quite some good experiences and deals aswell
