Introducing the contestant number 1, Rimac Nevera, a fully electric hypercar that can generate 1914 horsepower and 2360 Nm of torque. Holds the world record for 0 to 60 in 1.74 seconds with a top speed of 258 mph. Limited to just 150 units with a price tag of $2.2 million.
Contestant number 2, Porsche GT2 RS. This bad boy comes with a 3.8-liter flat-six that cranks out 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. 911 GT2 RS teleports from 0 to 60 in 2.6 seconds. That's 9 seconds slower than the Rimac Nevera. Porsche GT2 RS comes with a top speed of 211 mph falling short of Rimac’s 258. Can this underdog beat the fan favourite Rimac Nevera? Every acceleration/ breaking point and corner, the Porsche wins. Rimac only has

This is a bad match up given that the Nevera was run during summer months and the air temp was 104 degrees and they had to opt for tires that where better suited for high temps not the best for better ring times. Porsche 918 replacement is all EV and possible similar HP numbers to the Rimac is planned to run around a 6:30 time besting Porsche GT2 RS time. Rimac running around 60 degrees running cup 2R tires should run under 7 mins. Will it beat the GT2 who knows but it is very able to go under 7 mins. Another thing not mentioned Nurburgring do to the temps an track limits would not allow the Rimac to run past 355 kph can run to over 400 kph.
