The Prosecution make a big deal about how he was laying on the couch with "No weapons around him"!! Erm what about his big ugly hands that he used to hurt and torment this woman for years? His weapon was right there everyday. This is such a tragic case and I 🙏 she is found not guilty of murder.

I agree with you. His tongue with threats of killing her was a weapon too. A machete under the bed?!! 😮 Abuse has a long term and profound effect. I know because I was an abused wife; both verbal & physical. Just because it doesn't happen one day or even one week/month, you're still constantly on the alert and living in fear day and night. I was lucky to be able to get out alive. It was years ago and I've had a good life since.

@@justme33126 totally agree with everything you said. I am so happy you managed to escape that awful life amd hope things are happy for you now. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for my mum. The stress of the abusive rship she was in after 20yrs caused a brain tumor and she lost the battle x

I can't believe they even charged this lady. Abusers like this man do NOT let you just leave. My "father" was just like this man. We stayed at an abuse shelter for months and when we thought we might be safe and went to my grandmother's he came for us. Planned to kill us. Tied us up. The neighbors saved us. I hope she gets off and can heal from the years of suffering her and her children went through. 😢

Sometimes the State just lacks passion, bc they know or think the law is on their side. In a perfect world, sure, that would be great. But jurors are human, not robots who follow the law to a tee. Defense had an excellent public speaker deliver that opening, and it’s possible the jury has already made up their minds based on that alone

I truly believe this lady is not guilty. The history that the husband had controlling other women and taking advantage of them speaks by itself. In a separate testimony by an ex girlfriend, the ex girlfriend testified how she was beaten and over $40,000 USD were taken by the P...O...S to buy things for him and for his sister. He was completely controlling these women. Only just verdict would be not guilty, period. Anything less is an injustice.

I would never have been able to kill him - apart from the fact i would have been too scared to, im not capable of taking a life. I feel guilt about accidentally stepping on an ant. She killed him! Dosen't matter what he did to her in the past. At the time she shot at him 9 times?? Really? It was not self defense act!! If she felt so bad she should have packed up and left or made him leave. Not shoot him with her kids in the house! That's terrible. I hope she goes to jail for many years.

I was in an abusive relationship and I can’t tell you how many times I “forgave” my girl who was violent over and over again. In this case I think she should have left, not did what she did. But saying she forgave him is more helpful to the defense than the prosecution. There is no debate that she was in a long term abuse scenario
