Hi I’m from Bklyn . My husband and I bought our home here in Charlotte in 2021 same situation we walked in to view it smelled so bad But it had a basement and no other bids.. God set that up for is. Best purchase ever.
God Bless you. I truly wish I was able to purchase a few years ago. I feel like I would've had better pricing and options. But praying it all works for me.
@@katrinaTravelBae100 God's got you. It will work out and you will know its him. W/the exception of replacing the HVAC everything else was cosmetic. 3 yrs in we're having fun still making cosmetic changes.
Good luck on your house hunting journey. As someone who has purchased a couple of homes, you need a structural engineer to tell you if it is safe to remove walls. Contractors can give you their best guess, but a structural engineer will make sure the structural integrity of your home is sound
I love that house!! If I were considering Charlotte i would definitely consider this. Some of the issues could've come out of the purchase price. The bones, and opportunities were endless. Those those room sizes were amazing.
@@BeingJordean I forgot to mention the house was being sold “AS IS”. Joe couldn’t have left that out. So they weren’t fixing anything up. It was an investment opportunity for sure.
@katrinaTravelBae100 ahh understandable. I'm single and without a kid so I could've taken my time fixing it up...I know your situation is different. I'm excited to see what you chose, I know it'll be just ad great
It would have been way too much renovations for me and still have to pay $439K? Nope I would just put 500K into a newer brick home outside of Charlotte. Looks like a nice older neighborhood though.
@@Lmiller83 I considered all factors. Brick homes really nice big ones are hard to come by and cost way more in my area. The resale value after I fixed it up would have been way more. It would have been worth it to me.
@katrinaTravelBae100 You may have to consider moving out of Charlotte if you want the nice Big Brick home and yard.400k just doesn't go far in that area.I will be watching to see what you find . House hunting is always interesting.
@ I saw a home that I loved today. Stay tuned. $400k definitely doesn’t get you far but that was the price because I had to leave room for the renovation budget I was doing the 203K loan with that house

It's going to take the homeowner's a long time to clean that place out completely. Can't wait to see what house you end up selecting.
@@kkyles605 I’m sure the daughter got a moving company or something they knew the place would have to be cleaned out.
I loved the wood, and the doors. The front door could've been turned into French Doors
You have a great eye just like me. 2 nice double doors. I definitely would have changed it
@@katrinaTravelBae100 you would have had to start a whole new YT channel for that renovation project. It would be TV show all by itself.
The house had good bones.

Is this house in 28216 zip code?

@@katrinaTravelBae100 ok nice!
That home would have made for a great Reno and flip if you had more time. Lots of space. Great potential.
