National Highway G318 is a highway from Shanghai to Nyalam County, Tibet, referred to as the Shanghai-Nyalam Line. It is an ordinary highway in China and one of the horizontal lines of China's national road network. It is a national highway in East China, Central China and Southwest China. It starts from Huangpu District, Shanghai and ends at Nyalam County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region. The total length is 5,476 kilometers, passing through eight provincial administrative regions including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan and Tibet.
The 318 self-driving tour that people often talk about actually refers to the highway from Kangding City, Sichuan Province to Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region, with a total length of about 1,700 kilometers. This journey crosses a variety of landforms such as plateaus, canyons, rivers, grasslands, glaciers and forests, and the scenery is beautiful. In particular, the more than ten mountains with an altitude of more than 4,000 meters that are crossed on the way, as well as the three major rivers of Jinsha River, Nujiang River and Lancang River, bring a shocking visual feast to travelers.
The predecessor of this section of National Highway 318 was the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Its construction began in 1950 and was jointly built by the 18th Army of the People's Liberation Army and migrant workers of all ethnic groups. Along the way, it was necessary to cross many high mountains and canyons and cross uninhabited areas, which made the construction extremely difficult. But after decades of hard work, this highway was finally completed and opened to traffic, becoming an important channel connecting the mainland and Tibet. The construction of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway overcame many difficulties and demonstrated the strong will and revolutionary spirit of the Chinese people.
In recent years, with the continuous improvement of transportation infrastructure, the road conditions of National Highway 318 have been significantly improved. Many sections have been rebuilt, the road surface has become wider, and the driving has become smoother.
With the rise of tourism, more and more tourists choose to visit National Highway 318 by self-driving, cycling or even hiking. It not only drives the development of the local economy, but also promotes the exchange and dissemination of culture between western Sichuan and the Tibet Autonomous Region.

its amazing how it goes higher and higher as it's climbing the plateau and at around 36:00 minute starts crossing the clouds....and at around the same time the snacks starts to burst becuz of pressure difference

当然可以去，我家16年从山东自驾去的拉萨，想去的话建议提前吃红景天并走青藏线，那条线虽然不如视频里这个线的风景好但是全程海拔起伏比较大平缓，全程最高点也就一个唐古拉山口
台湾和外籍人士不能，需要导游陪同
那就只能靠原發影片的大大前進西藏拉薩的公路路程景了

前面的長距離上坡路段，不知道有幾公里，如果是電動汽車，可能沒辦法跑完，就沒電，或馬達過熱
沿途都让充电桩，配套很齐全
318沿途充电很方便，每个县城都有充电桩。
如果电机都能过热，那油车发动机温度都能烧开水了。
过热只能说明，电机本身出现了问题。
还有，这种长度的坡，并不会让电动车消耗非常多电量。
怕不是对电动车没什么了解，只是道听途说。
