- (April 2024) While I wonder if these are high quality elevators or not, they are pretty awesome. YES I rode the 2nd one only one floor. That is because I did not want to be in that thing for an eternity as it transversed 4 floors at 1 FPM lol. (It wasn't really that slow but still would have been a long ride)

How to make the building accessible: add a platform lift right next to the existing elevator LOL!
Yep lol
In India, I've seen elevators you have to access by climbing stairs
Those are fast for being screw drive. And that’s probably the nicest wheelchair lift ever.
They were
Amazing Elevators!
They sure are amazing
Thanks
Nice elevators! Listen to those Epic motors!
Epic motors are something to love and die for
@@evana6425 so true!
They were cool
@@BuildingToursForLife1660-4 hello
@@prodigygamer1418 hi
Wow that’s a great startup of the motor. This European antique cab is really amazing compared to the fixtures itself. I really love love this elevator has better than America nowadays on what they are doing but in Sweden everything is so beautiful and architecturally designed well
These are cool
Yep they are comparing to the old ones in the USA before
They were
“Hold the button the entire time the elevator is moving!”

Thanks 🙏
Nice elevator
Thanks
Also, I have my own elevator panel at my house that came from the Petroleum Club building in Dallas, TX. I got it on June 17.
Cool
I took a video of my elevator panel at my house. ua-cam.com/video/8uly_Io8dH0/v-deo.html
I wonder what happened to the large diameter ball screw drive lifts that the now-defunct Access Elevator built? I remember reading about one which was hydraulically powered. These were the fastest, and probably the highest capacity, screw drive elevators ever built.
Where was it ?
@@DieselDucy Unfortunately I don't know. It's been a long time since I read the article.
are you posting trip report and cruise boat tour as promised?
Once get time to sit down and edit
This is a weird setup. And it seems they sheapened out both times as screw-driven elevators don't have a long lifetime. the NTD was in a decent condition though.
Yeah. Screw drive elevators. Don’t really see those in the states.
The second elevator appears to be a wheelchair lift.
It was similar to one
Would you buy another Ford ranger?
I don’t know. They were great pickups though.
@@DieselDucy they still make them
Lift
Yep
The father: This is a log from my son. Please be aware for all other remaining viewers: this was my son's inspiration for getting knowledge of elevators.

[???]: Losing hope of attracting viewers back? Well, my interest is here, still supporting you and your friend Jason. That fateful day, I broken my arm at my age of 6 years old. Soon after getting my cast on my arm to heal, I said, "Let's ride the Westport Plaza glass traction elevator after the scandal," but now, here I am.
[???]: I was brought to elevators from your very old video filmed at 2 Eaton in Hampshire Vaginia. All of your videos are bringing my attention. It was what led to me here. For me, your videos back in the day were my intertainment. You were a great anxiety reliever when I was at a young age. I went quiet for awhile, but now, I am back to cheer you up.
[???]: Your videos were manufacturing possible endings for me, but not anymore.
[???]: Now it's time to reveal myself.
[Justin]: I am Justin, a kid from Maryland Hights, Missouri.
[Justin]: Well, there you have it. I officially announce that I am a long-time fan.
[Justin]: Just like that, the truth between me and @DieselDucy has been revealed. Thanks for watching @DieselDucy for all these years and thanks for scrolling to this point. Now you know how long I have been a fan. Oh and just so you don't forget: @DieselDucy did all the work for making videos up to this point.
[Justin]: @DieselDucy, thanks for all the videos, and keep making contact if you can.
