Hii! Since you've been doing ballet for a while, what age range would you consider a 'late starter'? I'm starting ballet on Tuesday with girls around a year younger than me and kind of nervous, but, I'm not starting as late as she did. If you have any tips or anything, I'd love to hear them! Have a good day :)
I'm 20 and recently have wanted to try ballet, I am very much inexperienced, I am in no way flexible and I can't even touch my toes. BUT, I really want to try it out, I've been recently since a few days ago, started doing a few leg stretches to be able to get more flexible and then I'm thinking of going to classes once the beginner courses open up again. I have done a lot of research and cannot find any classes made for beginners near me and I feel that at my age, if I joined a class full of girls of the same age I would be a total fish out of water and struggle a lot. Because of this I was considering finding a tutor that could give me one on one lessons (which would have to be over webcam for the time being for obvious reasons) as I feel they could teach me the basics in a non-pressured environment and help me develop enough to catch up with everyone else. Does anyone have any advice or feel that this is a bad decision? Thanks :))
When I started they put me in a class one level below most girls my age, (the girls were only 1-2 years younger) and I ended up catching up quickly and now I'm in the highest level at my studio :) so don't worry about it, they'll want you to dance no matter your skill. That being said, if you can take lessons before that would help you a lot and probably make you feel more confident so if you're able to, do it 100% :)
I hope you decided to go for it ❤ I started balett at 13, stopped at 15 due to moving away. Now, 15 years later, I'm having my second "first" balett class! It's never too late ❤

The point of the full soles(you called them “one soles,”) is to provide resistance so the foot strengthens when you point it. If you’re a beginner, get full-soled shoes unless your teacher tells you otherwise. Full sole is to strengthen the foot for beginners, split sole is for more advanced dancers who want to make their arch look prettier.
youre such a calming person thank you so much, ive got my first ballet class in an hour and im verryy anxious but so excited. you made me feel so prepared. seriously thank you youre a lifesaver.
just finished my second class and in the first lesson my teacher said that i havw natural talent !! today she gave me some pre professional combos to try because she is going to place me in the first level of pre professional classes. i was so wobbly doing them lmao
i’m 19 and i just signed up for my first ballet class for next week! :D i did theatre from age 9-16 so im really excited to be doing some performing arts again!
Your hair looks so cute in two braids! This was a really helpful video btw! I have been doing dance for five years now and I started pointe about two years ago, so it's never too late to start dance ;)
2 years ago I wanted to start dancing, I had no experience so I went to a trial lesson, when I was there they just did what they always did, the teacher demonstrated a difficult step once and everyone could do it. But of course I had no idea how to do it, they did a whole choreography during 10 minutes. After that, everyone lined up and one after the other they practiced a certain jump, but I had no idea how to do this jump and no one had shown it to me. At the end of the lesson the teacher came to me and told me that I was too bad for the class and that I should not continue (it was a beginner class). This destroyed all my self-confidence and since then I have panic to sign up for dance classes anywhere.
thank you for posting a late-starter friendly video!! i learned a lot from watching this short video and you delivered the information very kindly ty kween
you’re such an inspiration!! when i heard that you started at 14, I immediately went to the comment section to write this! I’m 14 right now and i have such an interest in ballet. i think it’s a sign lol. update; i had my mom sign me up for my first ballet class and it starts on September 8th. I’m kinda worried though because it says that I’m in Ballet 2 when I’m a beginner (zero training), but I’m still excited! due to covid, there’s only 10 people in my class so :)
i did ballet when i was like 8 then quit and im starting again at the age of 13. i am starting in my studios "ballet 4" class cus its for my age and the studio's owner is one of my good friend's mom. i hope i dont look to behind because i have lost stuff but im excite to start! thank you for this.
I started ballet when I was 3 years old and stopped when I was 9 years old. I had to stop ballet because my family moved to Alaska. I’m beginning college in a few months and I’ve already registered to a ballet class. I’m so excited and nervous. This video definitely will help me prepare and remember what I’m doing.
I'm 15, soon to be 16. I am thinking about starting ballet. The last time I was in a ballet class I was about 5-6 years old. I have to get my knee checked, but I'm really excited. Thank you!
I am a bit on the chubby side but with my diet and exercise I have started reducing a lot so also I feel like I wont be able to do ballet but then I remember that all ballet professionals started from somewhere and it definitely wont be easy. It invloves a lot of commitment. I havent started yet because I just want to know I am mentally ready.
I started dance when I was 4, and stopped at 8 because my family moved. I'm now 14, and I'm taking a dance class in my high school. It's been years! I'm trying to renew my memory on everything ballet!
thanks dear so much for making this video, i'm turning 14 in 2 weeks and i'm starting ballet next week and this video really helped me with everything.
I did ballet for 10 years and quit for 4 and now I’m doing it again cause i want to improve so I can get into competitive dance some day! I also do other dances and heard that ballet is most used in competitive so yea-😊✨
Hi! Love your vids! Keep going!!! When you don’t have ideas maybe you can do a warm up routine before stretching or something like that. Good luck and take care!
As an eleven year old girl who is a tinnyyy bit overweight, i am absolutely TERRIFIED of the idea of starting completely new, while everyone else knows what theyre doing. Ik how judgemental and strict dance studios can be about that kind of stuff😭 i was (and still kinda am) internally freaking out, but this video helped a LOT😭😭🫶🏼🫶🏼
@duckydustin7438 Girll do it!! its been going great for me. Im not flexible either lol. Trust me, youll regret it later if you didnt. Take a chance and do it. even if ur not good at it, just keep trying and you WILL get better🫶🏼🫶🏼
Hello hello! Thank you for the the tips in this video! I want to start ballet this year, but I am, well, black, and it doesn't seem like there are a lot of black ballerinas around... Do you think I will be the only one in my class? Also, the studio I want to go has a dress code: pink leotard with ballet pink tights and assorted slippers... Won't it look weird to have pink tights on with black skin? Thank you so much again for your advices, much love ❤️❤️❤️
Hi beautiful!! I'm so excited that you want to start ballet. And yes unfortunately there isn't a ton of diversity in ballet at the moment but it's been improving so so much in recent years. My favorite ballerina is Michaela DePrince and she is a black ballerina. (I read her book and I absolutely loved it, it was all about her story of being a black dancer) there's also Misty Copeland and she's super well known! Anyways, yes there's a chance you might be the only person of color in your class but they will be so happy to have you! You'll meet girls there and make friends quickly. In recent years I've danced with some asain and some other ethnicities and they were treated just like everyone else. I know there's some difficult people but be the one who changes the world. You got this! And as far as the tights go, I know it's not ideal for you since the color of the tights is supposed to match you (my studio has the same dress code) but a fun fact, companies are beginning to make pointe shoes in different shades so I think very soon people will begin wearing tights that match along with shoes. Until then, take class and be the change that makes ballet even more diverse. Good luck I'm sure you'll do amazing. ((And seriously your should read the book "Taking Flight" by Michaela DePrince))
Thank you for making this video. I’m 23 and very interested in ballet. I took dance from like the ages of 3-6 and then we moved and I never got back into but I love to dance and I love how beautiful ballet is and there’s a studio nearby that has beginner adult ballet classes and I really want to do it but it’s just been so long since I’ve done a formal dance class! Crazy enough I took dance in my senior year of high school for a PE credit to graduate! But that wasn’t the same lol but thank you for your advice on how to get started! You are pointing me in the right direction!
I'm 14 and I'm looking to start ballet but I haven't done any form of dance since I was 6 or 7. The problem is I recently had an ankle ligament injury and I don't know if I should start sooner or later. I spoke to my doctor and he said I could start after 2 weeks and my ankle would be strengthened better than before because ballet does work extensively on your ankles. However, I feel like waiting longer might reduce risk of another injury. I still have time to choose a teacher or studio. Do you have any advice for me?
Definitely start with the recommended time of your doctor, I would also do some gentle exercises and stretches to strengthen your feet and ankles prior to starting any classes. There's a lot on UA-cam you can find. Just go slow and reach out to studios and inquire about starting lessons and explaining to them your injury. Take some time and heal and ease into it, you have time so do not worry!
Thanks I’m 13 and I’m going to my first class I’m going with the 7-11 year olds to learn the basics so that’s fun. I’m so excited. So that’s why I’m here.
I’m honestly scared abt going in a class with younger kids- I feel like I shouldn’t let that get in the way of my passion for ballet tho (even tho I’ve never even done it xD)
Today is my first ballet class! I’m really nervous... I don’t know what to do with my hair, what to wear either... Wish me luck! I’ll try to update anyone whose reading this!!! Update #1: Well I don’t have any ballet flats for tonight so my dad is running to Walmart. Helpppp Update #2: I made it. I had to run to my friends house, thankfully she let me borrow her ballet flats. The ballet class was intimidating at first and I really had to look and copy off of other people. My next class is hip hop/ jazz and that’s in a few days. I’ll keep you updated! Update #3: Today was my jazz/hip hop class. I was quiet (like Monday) I know I need to get out of my shell but it’s hard. I really had a good time though, deep down. Oh! Also my dad ordered me ballet flats and jazz shoes! There not much more to update about, but I will try my best!!! 🩰
I wanna start ballet, I am fifteen but I have prior dancing experience (I dance "modern styles"? since I was six). A friend said she can give me her ballet stuff bc she had to leave bc it was too expensive. I am gonna try my best and do as much as I can so I can catch up with girls around my age.
I’m ten and a contemporary and acro dancer! :) I’m not really enjoying acro too much I personally think it’s just not my thing! So tmr is my last day of acro! :) next will be my first day of ballet I went to dance box to get my dance slippers for contemporary hopefully they’d work for ballet too! I highly recommend dance box as a brand! 😊
oh 10 is definitely not to late. it’s where alot of people actually start! you’ll probably be en pointe by 12 or 13! (which are the standard ages, 11 is a little early but is possible.) have fun!! update us
I’m 17,starting my first ballet class today so scared ! I did do gymnastics ages 8-10 tho but stopped so I still have some flexibility with me so hopefully I don’t do too bad.
I was super interested in dancing a year ago. I realized it would be too hard since I wanted to be an all rounded dancer ( do contemporary lyrical ect). I was excited about it and overthinking it. I used to stretch all the time. I started giving up on dancing. A year later (now) I'm getting a lot of motivation and wait to be a ballet dancer.(for fun) Im.not sure how much classes cost but I will try to convince my mother and help pay myself! :)
Im starting ballet at newly 15, I literally know nothing about ballet barely even the positions, I feel like a total fish out of water at the studio and all the girls stare at me and whisper things because I don’t know much and have to sit out during some things :( I really hope to get better and I always pay attention during class. Wishing everyone else in a situation like this good luck and good health!!!
I want to try Ballet and im really interested but the problem is there is no Ballet Classes near me and my parents probably wouldn't allow me im 11 Right now
Try talking to them about it they may suprise you. Besides, maybe there are some studios that you just don't know about. My new ballet studio is about a 40 minute drive but I make it work.
I have always wanted to dance ballet but I just leave it aside and don’t do it because I’m too old (15), but now I decided that I don’t care if I know nothing, or I’m too fat or if I’m too old, I’ll just start doing it. I might not know the language too well buy I’ll survive because this is a dream of mine.
Omg good luck! Hope it will go well :) i personally wanna start ballet but i live in a french city where there isnt much dance studios.Im very scared to start ballet, do you have tips?
i dont know if your suppose to wear red shoes for begginers on your first level, but im glad its not the pointe shoes. cause im NOT ready for that! but im just wondering if you do know!
When I was 5, I danced ballet for 1 year. I then figure skated for half a year, swam competitively and lastly danced hip hop for a year. I am currently 13, I will be turning 14 next month. This week my mother sent a message to a decent ballet school, in the vicinity. That same day a teacher had called her, asking questions about me. This same week- I mean today's the day we are going to meet her (I will start getting dressed in an hour). I am so excited yet worried, I haven't been doing anything in particular for 3 years now. I have lost a lot of my flexibility, including most of my confidence. I am mostly focused on my appearance, even though skill is more important in this case. I am being told that I am thin and am losing weight, but whenever I look in the mirror I pinch my thighs and the little fat that's on my hips. Kneeling backwards and telling myself "I would be so happy if I lost two inches off of my thighs". Literally two inches, what is wrong with me. And it's really not like I'm fat or anything (There's nothing wrong with being over weight, I'm just personally telling myself on how I want to look) I have been asked if I dance on multiple occasions. I mean I am pleased with my upper body, you can see my collar bone without sticking a pose, I can clearly see my ribs, my wrists are so thin, my chest is pretty much nonexistent. Yet my thighs seem fat, and magically they become thin after sticking my fingers into my skin, and seeing that two inches would suddenly make them tiny (Again these are my desiered traits). I don't know how to deal with this, I try being positive yet everything turns negative.
I can film a video on that this week if you'd like? :) mostly just Bobby pins and hair spray but sometimes I'll do some twisty method for a different look
I Know How difficult starting a sport can be! I have done bjj for 2 years I cant go for a while since they are shutting down for who knows how long so i still want to stay active. Ballet has been something i wanted to do since i was little I tried once when i was a little kid like 5 or 6 but i dont remember why I couldnt do it. Anyway now i really want to do I am old enough to start pointe if i got enough training to and i think im at a good position to start my feet are naturally very flexible which helps a lot with me starting ballet when i was little i used to tipie toe everywhere i went instead of walking my feet would get tired but i still did it soon it became a habbit and i never stopped until i was 9 because I heard my tia saying i could damage my feet like that and thats why ballerina's had damaged feet. I really dont care what she said and I Plan on starting ballet.
Do you think I could start ballet at the age of eleven ?? What level / age group do you think they’ll put me in ? (FYI I’ve never been in dance before )
hi there! so I'm 21, dealing with various mental and health conditions like medical anorexia so I know that I can't develop the strong bones needed to train for my goal: going en pointe. I also suffer from bipolar and severe anxiety attacks daily with and without medication and therapy. it is too late to get accepted into any ballet academies because of my age right? I assume because I'm already old enough to have graduated normal college that it is. :/ I'm heartbroken that I didn't pursue ballet longer when I was younger, I gravitated towards gymnastics and loved it for years until my knees gave out and I began developing anxiety around people. :/ I had to quit and that was over 12 years ago. from your perspective, do you think (assuming I can get my health sorted out though it's been a 4 year journey) that I have a chance at starting at a beginning ballet level and working my way up? I hear the phrase "it's never too late", but it seems in terms of a career in ballet, it does become too late because of the years of training I missed out on. :/ I'd love to hear any of your perspective on this! I know I said a lot and can't expect you to have all the answers, but from one past athlete to another, do you think it's too late for me to achieve greatness still? thanks for reading if you do, I loved the informative video ❤️
I’m 16 and I ordered my first pair of Demi pointe shoes so that when I go to Tennessee in a few months my feet will be strong enough to where I’m not WAY too behind.
My college is starting to offer a free ballet program. I’m not a student at the college, I’m an old professor, although I do stay active. Let’s see how ballet goes.
im 15 and am looking for a studio at the moment. i did ballet and other dance styles from 3-12 and i stopped at 12 , i took a few commercial classes at 13 but only 2 or 3. i really hope i wont be put in a class that has much younger children.

The point of the full soles(you called them “one soles,”) is to provide resistance so the foot strengthens when you point it. If you’re a beginner, get full-soled shoes unless your teacher tells you otherwise. Full sole is to strengthen the foot for beginners, split sole is for more advanced dancers who want to make their arch look prettier.
this is very helpful!! and yes i would like to see how you do your ballet buns💕
Okay! Will film soon ;)
I am 14 and I am starting my first ballet class tomorrow! This video has helped me a lot thank you!!!
@Sophia Lee its going great! i am already at Grade 3!!!
what did u wear for ur first lesson? I'm starting next week and i dont know what to wear
@@sofialippmann2142 I just wore active wear or clothes I wear to workout and socks
any advice?? im 14 and am starting soon and i'm really nervous ill be an odd one out
@vintagedior5178 it'll feel awkward and shy at first but you got this babe it was one of the best decisions I've made
youre such a calming person thank you so much, ive got my first ballet class in an hour and im verryy anxious but so excited. you made me feel so prepared. seriously thank you youre a lifesaver.
just finished my second class and in the first lesson my teacher said that i havw natural talent !! today she gave me some pre professional combos to try because she is going to place me in the first level of pre professional classes. i was so wobbly doing them lmao
You're my inspiration, I'm just 15 years old and i really wanted to be a ballet dancer just like you.Ilysm
i’m 19 and i just signed up for my first ballet class for next week! :D i did theatre from age 9-16 so im really excited to be doing some performing arts again!
im an artist and i found that drawing the positions helped me memorize them! especially because im a vary visual learner✨
Your hair looks so cute in two braids! This was a really helpful video btw! I have been doing dance for five years now and I started pointe about two years ago, so it's never too late to start dance ;)
Aw thanks so much! And yes! I think everyone should go for it and start Ballet whenever!
Im 15 and I finally found a class that I can go to thanks I was rlly wondering what to wear ❤
i’m 20 and i have my first class next week i’m so excited but a little nervous
thank you for posting a late-starter friendly video!! i learned a lot from watching this short video and you delivered the information very kindly ty kween
you’re such an inspiration!! when i heard that you started at 14, I immediately went to the comment section to write this! I’m 14 right now and i have such an interest in ballet. i think it’s a sign lol.
update; i had my mom sign me up for my first ballet class and it starts on September 8th. I’m kinda worried though because it says that I’m in Ballet 2 when I’m a beginner (zero training), but I’m still excited! due to covid, there’s only 10 people in my class so :)
irrelevant trash omg!! Same!!! I’m 13 tho, but I signed up with a ballet class online!! Do you want to be friends??
michelle almoro yes!!! what are your socials? my snap is iichristine1
You'll catch up really fast, it's gunna be overwhelming but stick with it! Good luck!

im just starting a ballet class this fall and im very excited! this video was super helpful and im even more excited now
i did ballet when i was like 8 then quit and im starting again at the age of 13. i am starting in my studios "ballet 4" class cus its for my age and the studio's owner is one of my good friend's mom. i hope i dont look to behind because i have lost stuff but im excite to start! thank you for this.
I’m 11 nearly 12 and I really want to start ballet it’s been my dream since I can remember I might start soon! 😊
I’m starting ballet on September 11 I’m super nervous and I have tried ballet when I was 7-8 and now I’m 12 I hope everything goes well ❤
hii, how did it go?
ahhh I’m about to start ballet at 14 and this video is so helpful!!
Thank you!
i am exactly the same 😭 i even need my knee checked first too
I am a bit on the chubby side but with my diet and exercise I have started reducing a lot so also I feel like I wont be able to do ballet but then I remember that all ballet professionals started from somewhere and it definitely wont be easy. It invloves a lot of commitment. I havent started yet because I just want to know I am mentally ready.
I started ballet when I was 5 but stopped when I turned 9. I'll be re-starting ballet at 12 ^w^
Im 11 and i used to do ballet when i was 6 did it for 10 months then stopped due to me starting school i rlly want to start again
i stopped ballet because it costs to much money :(
Thank you this is actually making me more confident for when I have my first ballet class after 5 years. This is very helpful!
Starting in my mid twenties. I feel like such a late bloomer lol
Super helpful video! Thanks! Wish me luck!
You got this! So glad you're starting
making a playlist because im starting soon im pretty sure!
ill start my first ballet class tomorrow thank you so much for the ideas in this video wish my luck

I started dance when I was 4, and stopped at 8 because my family moved. I'm now 14, and I'm taking a dance class in my high school. It's been years! I'm trying to renew my memory on everything ballet!
Can I do ballet and soccer at the same time? PLEASE HELP 😜😭😭
thanks dear so much for making this video, i'm turning 14 in 2 weeks and i'm starting ballet next week and this video really helped me with everything.
I'm 24 and just started ballet. I love it. I also have a uniform, but mine is navy blue leotard and pink tights. I got mine from the dance school.
Ik how judgemental and strict dance studios can be about that kind of stuff😭 i was (and still kinda am) internally freaking out, but this video helped a LOT😭😭🫶🏼🫶🏼
i’m the same age and i want to start so bad but i’m not flexible and i’m scared
@duckydustin7438 Girll do it!! its been going great for me. Im not flexible either lol. Trust me, youll regret it later if you didnt. Take a chance and do it. even if ur not good at it, just keep trying and you WILL get better🫶🏼🫶🏼
@@noreos.oreoss thank you! :) i like watching these videos but it feels better hearing advice coming from someone my age
I want to start ballet so this helps a lot you like explained every thing I wanted to know thank you so much
Hello hello!
((And seriously your should read the book "Taking Flight" by Michaela DePrince))
thanks so much for making this video kels!!! ilysm!!
💗💗💗
Thank you so much 💘
I'm turning 20 and I think im going to try a class. Wish me luck!
Good luckkk
Thanks I’m 13 and I’m going to my first class I’m going with the 7-11 year olds to learn the basics so that’s fun. I’m so excited. So that’s why I’m here.
I’m honestly scared abt going in a class with younger kids- I feel like I shouldn’t let that get in the way of my passion for ballet tho (even tho I’ve never even done it xD)
@@piper293 it's fine I did it I was only in there for a few weeks. Also they were all 6. There is nothing to worry about
thank you so much for this video this was so helpful i’m 14 and i’ve always wanted to do ballet 🩰 ♡︎
Hi thank you so much for this video, I am 24 years old and starting ballet TODAY.
May I ask, what if your black and have short-ish hair? What if you're not able to put it ina bun? Will a puff do?
Im going to start ballet to help with my figure skating 😊
Today is my first ballet class! I’m really nervous... I don’t know what to do with my hair, what to wear either... Wish me luck! I’ll try to update anyone whose reading this!!!
Update #1: Well I don’t have any ballet flats for tonight so my dad is running to Walmart. Helpppp
Update #2: I made it.
good luck! :D
what did u wear for ur first lesson? I'm starting next week and i dont know what to wear
(which are the standard ages, 11 is a little early but is possible.) have fun!! update us
i love this soooo much!! i’m 11 nearly 12 and i’m wanting to start ballet 🩰
Oo I'm fourteen too and really want to go en pointe so this is so good to know
I'm 12 and I get to start ballet today!
hi! how was it?
Starting tomorrow! Thank youuuuu!
Remember you are there for you, not for them. It is more important that you personally make progress than that you compare to others ❤
@@kelseyanne13 mine is too
this helped me so much ty! i am hoping to start soon!
23, and I just booked my first class for September this year
i’m 12 and i have taken hip hop dance classes and i really want to try some ballet classes
I have always wanted to dance ballet but I just leave it aside and don’t do it because I’m too old (15), but now I decided that I don’t care if I know nothing, or I’m too fat or if I’m too old, I’ll just start doing it. I might not know the language too well buy I’ll survive because this is a dream of mine.
great video! i was wondering, what age did you start pointe? thank you!

Is it possible to start doing ballet at 19?
Yes you can start ballet at 19.
I love your videos!
Thank you💗🥺
The place I’ll be going to is where my friend goes. She’s been doing ballet for 2 years and is level 2. I’ll bed starting on January 7th.
I’m gonna start ballet classes next year do you think I should start doing things now to improve my flexibility?
Yes .
i dont know if your suppose to wear red shoes for begginers on your first level, but im glad its not the pointe shoes. cause im NOT ready for that! but im just wondering if you do know!
I don't know how to deal with this, I try being positive yet everything turns negative.
hey girl! i was wondering how you put your bun up? do you use gel, hairspray, hairnets, bobby pins, donut buns, etc.
I can film a video on that this week if you'd like? :) mostly just Bobby pins and hair spray but sometimes I'll do some twisty method for a different look
yes i'd love to see you make a video of how you do your hair!
I really dont care what she said and I Plan on starting ballet.
wish i knew this!! tysm!
Do you think I could start ballet at the age of eleven ?? What level / age group do you think they’ll put me in ? (FYI I’ve never been in dance before )
Can you do a bun with bangs
My first class is next week I'm so excited 😁
I am going to started ballet and this is very helpful and I am starting at a age of 9
hi there! so I'm 21, dealing with various mental and health conditions like medical anorexia so I know that I can't develop the strong bones needed to train for my goal: going en pointe.
I also suffer from bipolar and severe anxiety attacks daily with and without medication and therapy.
it is too late to get accepted into any ballet academies because of my age right? I assume because I'm already old enough to have graduated normal college that it is. :/
I'm heartbroken that I didn't pursue ballet longer when I was younger, I gravitated towards gymnastics and loved it for years until my knees gave out and I began developing anxiety around people.
I'd love to hear any of your perspective on this!
Hii your video has really helped me, but I've never had the confidence to do ballet since I'm 13.
I want to start ballet and I’m 11❤️
Can u do a makeup tutorial?i really like ur makeup looks 💕
My college is starting to offer a free ballet program. I’m not a student at the college, I’m an old professor, although I do stay active. Let’s see how ballet goes.
My hair is above my shoulder so I don't think I can get my hair into a bun if I start ballet classes :(

if your studio allows it you can always do half up half downs :D
im 15 and am looking for a studio at the moment. i did ballet and other dance styles from 3-12 and i stopped at 12 , i took a few commercial classes at 13 but only 2 or 3. i really hope i wont be put in a class that has much younger children.
