Brandon . I thought for a while about weather or not I was going to share this with you but after your disclosure I decided to. My mother, too , passed away from cancer. When we became aware how advanced it was I moved into her house to help her. I would give her her shots every day and do what I could to make her comfortable. One day we were sitting in the family room and she was having a particularly difficult time breathing. She looked at me and asked me if I minded if she didn't hold on any longer. I , of course, told her I didn't want her to be in pain . She was laying on the couch and I was holding her hand and within 2 minutes of our discussion she was gone. One of my daughters was particularly attached to her and they had this thing about discovering pennies being good luck. After my mom died, my daughter, when she was struggling in life would discover piles of pennies . My daughter has had some trials in life but is doing great now. I believe these discoveries have been critical in helping my daughter get beyond her issues.. My mom is watching over her.
@williamlanphar630 I'm so glad you shared this. Hands down that is your mother letting your daughter (and you) know that she is looking out for you both and that she is ok. These are blessings that our loved ones sometimes share with us. Not everyone is so lucky to receive these gifts i'm told. The other night I was at my moms. I still announce myself when I enter. I said out loud "I'm coming back tomorrow mom to grab that lamp for my office" (she has a nice floor standing lamp that I liked). I came back the next day and the lamp was ON! I'm the only person that has a key to her house and the lamp was 100% off when I left the day before. I just laughed out loud and said thanks mom. Enjoy these times. I hope it never fades but I think we are given what we need at the time to get through what we are going through. I'm cherishing these moments and I'm sure you both have also. Thanks again brother and God Bless!
that's amazing I've noticed in the past couple of years that my children's friends have made statements about the things they remember about me when they were growing up that i never new was impacting them at the time but it's clear that the interactions, we have at all stages of live impact each other at some time in our lives..
Brandon, you don't need to apologize for being a caring, loving human and son. I'm older, 75, and I've lost both my parents and the loss is always there, thanks for sharing.
My mother died 35 years ago this May of breast cancer. I still tear up telling her story. How you didn't, amazed me. The wind chimes WAS your mother's soul, as was the light coming down on your home. My Uncle Gus loved the snow. When he died it was a January that was cold but dry. As we carried him from the hearse to his grave it started to snow like crazy. As we placed him on the cradle to lower him into the vault, the snow instantly stopped. I surely believe. God Bless You Sir!
Thank you for sharing your Mum’s story Brandon and how you experienced it; it was very moving because of your honesty. Spirituality is experiential if we allow it to be, not a religious thing, people may chose their medium to communicate with the universe, and it is important that powerful experiences are shared to pay that forward too. I love your channel and this awesome technology we are fortunate to have access too. Great video 🙌
Hey Brandon. Nice story about your mom. Thanks for sharing that. Lots of folks our age have lost parents to cancer. Hard to believe that subscribers were giving you a hard time for not posting. Other than the risk of burning up anything not rated for 220 volts, there is nothing suicidal about your adapter. It would have been interesting to see how many amps the plasma cutter drew from your power source (breaker box) and if the cord you were using was rated for the amps. More than likely, if it didn't trip your breaker or heated the cord up, you are/were fine.
Hello Brandon, Thank you for opening up and sharing your story. Its really inspiring. If i may, were both solo child. That why i said i know the feeling of losing our loving mother. I think the light that you saw going to your haus was an indication that your mom is shining down and watching you. On my part its different, a few days after the passing away of my mom, a Big Beautiful Colorful Butterfly went inside my moms house and stayed for a few days. The whole relatives believed me when i said that it was my mom who visited us and showed signs that she's watching over us. You're right about your mom's in a better place now and still watching and guiding and giving you light.. That's what mothers do right? BTW nice and inspiring video. Thanks and God Bless you and your family.
I love this man and what a blessing! She was letting you know she is still with you. You are totally right, thats what mothers do! God Bless you brother!
Thanks for sharing about your mother. When mine passed, a calm came over everyone with her at her last breath. My father before he passed would look in the corner of the room and keep saying, I'm not ready yet. Can I have a little more time? I'm glad you are sharing! You're not losing me as a sub because it's important to connect and heal while others watch your back from the wolves who want to try and take you down in your vulnerable time. Peace be with you Brother
Peace be with you! I can relate to the calm you spoke of. I would say we experienced that also. Shortly after her last breath and the chimes ringing about a minute later she let out another breath. We knew this was her body relaxing and we could feel that her spirit was no longer with us. It's amaxing how much energy our souls produce and feeling it leave was amazing knowing she had gone to a bettter place.
Good on you Brandon. Like many other commenters here, I lost my Mother to cancer a week after the closing of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. When the call came from her hospital that she was close to death I was in hospital 200 miles away. After arguing with my doctors, wife and family we rushed to her bedside only to arrive about half an hour late. Although she had advanced Dementia and by that stage she only remembered my oldest brother, the first born, didn't matter, we all understood. You're a good man my friend. BTW, nice cutter, I'll pay freight, 😆😆
Thank you so much brother for sharing your story. I lost my dad in 2011. I told him I would be right back. I ran home to pack a bag so I could stay with him. I was within 5 minutes from returning and my step mom told me he had passed. I carried that for a while but I know they are both in a better place. Dementia is brutal. As far as the plasma cutter, we need friendlier customs agents. They don't like when I ship things with a zero declared value LOL
Brandon, REALLY appreciate you sharing the story concerning your Mom. I just lost both my mother and my wife’s mother recently in less than 90 days apart. I appreciate you sharing HOW it changed you and how you received that set of changes. It was an incredible story and I’m glad you shared. To those curmudgeonly people who don’t care and threaten.. can get bent! Keep up the incredible videos and human touch to your channel!!
I feel ya Brandon. When my dad passed 20yrs ago, my distant family helped move his belongings around. When my Aunt needed help opening a latched door, because her hands were full, the door unlatched and opened. No windows open or any breeze of any kind. She dropped everything in fear but I was frozen where I stood lol! I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it. So I do believe in another entity out there. I'm around your age so I'm helping with what ever I can for my mom as well. Anyhow, I'd keep those wind chimes close if you still have them. 🙏
Oh I sure do. What I didn't mention in the video as I was holding her hand I could feel her slipping away and within 15 seconds the chimes started going. I hollered to everyone and pointed at the chimes saying there she goes. Her spirit is leaving. It was abundantly clear that both events were tied together. There is definately more to life than what we think we know.
Brandon, Yeah, I would definitely change the head of that plug. I installed my welding power in my shop last year. Not hard, because I only had to run it 2 feet. Haha But yes to whoever gets the Plasma cutter you should get the head on the cord changed if you plan on using it in 240 mode. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and good luck in this Drawing for the plasma cutter!
To help identify the "suicide adaptor", wrap the white (female) end with a red electrical tape or paint it red. Another way would be to wrap the electrical cord with some red shrink-wrap before you put the receptacle end on it. Thanks too for sharing about your mom's situation and how you have taken care of her. It does not surprise me to hear how you've been responsible and caring - that is the person I have always imagined you to be. Happy New Year from Portugal!!
I basically had to do the same with my mother 3 years ago. I do have 2 older brothers but they both live 3 hours away so it was really up to me to take care of her for the last year of her life. she had a choice to go to a nursing home and live with an IV until she passed or go home on hospice. she chose hospice and made it 3 weeks but she kept saying she was ready. Really didn't make it any easier but it did ease my mind when she did pass. You sir are one of very few out there with a heart of gold. keep up the good work. love watching your videos.
Thank you so much! We were very fortunate to have hospice. Prior to that it was almost a fill time job trying to care for her and constantly begging her pcp for narcotics. Once she went on hospice most of those complications went away so I could spend time as her son and not her caregiver. It was a blessing for sure
Hey Brandon, I feel your pain young man. I lost my mother to pneumonia in 2015. As the youngest of three and with my mother living with me l was the one that did all the hospital trips and such like in the years when she had a heart problem and up to her passing. The hardest time, was the first time l left her in a care home. Man, that still gets to me seven years later. 2015 was a shit year for other reasons too but that's a long story. Anyway, you won't loose my subscription young man. You have my respect 100%. On this video, great story to the plasma cutter and great ethics from you. Best regards, Jon. North Yorkshire, England.
Sorry to hear about your mother. I too have my mother living with me and I can sympathize with you on having to help out there. But hey on the bright side, I just got the same t-shirt you have from my fiancee yesterday. That put a smile on my face. Thanks for the video and all the help. Stay positive man. As I have come to learn, time does help heal and in some cases improve things... Happy new year man!!!!🥳
The early Yeswelder MIG-205DS had this same arrangement, with the (scary) adapter. I've seen the newer versions of the Yeswelders including the proper plug arrangement - looks like they listened to the complaints. Take care of your family Brandon. Ignore the haters, and thanks for the time you do give.
Thanks man I apprecaite it! I find that the ones most critical with the loudest voices are the ones who need the education the most. Thank you for your kind words and support!
Again, Thoughts and Prayers from our family to yours! Great video. I had wondered how it would work on 240 volts after watching your last video on 120 volts. Another great demonstration you have shown all of us Home gamers. You never disappoint. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much! After seeing how well it worked on 120 I probably wouldn't bother to wire it up for 240 but thats just me. It would cut pretty much everything I would need to cut on 120
Sorry for your loss Brandon and thank you for sharing the experience. I lost my wife to cancer back in 2007 and had a similar experience when she asked me if I saw her late Dad in the hospital room and there was no one there except me and her? I bought a 3 in 1 function stick, tig, and plasma cutter a few years ago. When it arrived, I tried it out on 120v. It worked okay. I then had knee surgery and didn't get to do any shop work for a few months. One of the first things I tried was to use the new machine to stick weld and plugged it in to 220v like it was optioned to do. First arc the mosffets blew up on the main circuit board. I replaced them and tried again and this time several resistors exploded. I guess I got what I paid for on that one.
I'm sorry to hear about your loss @lloydprunier4415. Her seeing her dad is beautiful. He was there to comfort her and guide her to the Lord. One day you will rejoyce. These machines back in the day had the term "brick" associated with them. Some would last for years and some would blow up immediately as you discovered and turn into a "brick" or useless door stop. They have come a long way since then. I think there is the occasional bad unit but for the most part they arent plagued like they were in the past. Some of the older units actually had 'used" electrical components in them but I think they figured if they kept making garbage that no one would buy them so they stepped up their game. FOr a home hobbiest I think these are perfect. You end up with a decent machine without breaking the bank.
Thanks Brandon for your story, allowed me to think of my late wife, while learning something new. You never know what will trigger memories, this video did, & I thank you for that.
Thanks for sharing your story Brandon. I’m still anonymous with my YT name so I wanted to add, it was my brother-in-law that passed. My only “brother” and for the last 20+ years I’ve been married to his sister, we were very close. Every year I budgeted a certain amount of money to buy him a Christmas gift and after his unanticipated sudden passing, I just couldn’t keep the money. I had recently found your channel and really enjoyed watching your videos and learning tips and tricks about welding & various machines. I really liked that you always do giveaways and it just made sense to use the money I set aside for my brother and gift it to your channel to be given to one of your loyal viewers. You did very well summarizing & I thank you. I just wanted to add that it was my brother and best friend. God bless you Brandon and thank you for demonstrating the capabilities of the cutter in 120/240v. Hopefully someone will put it to good use. Happy New Year 🎉
Dear Skeeter, Sorry for the loss of your cherished friend and brother. Your decision to keep his Spirt alive through your thoughtfulness and generosity is heart-warming and restores my faith in humanity. I am the youngest son from a large family. (six brothers and one sister) My next older brother and I are only siblings let from the immediate family. So, I can relate to your loss. As a fellow veteran, I want to thank you for your service as well. God bless! 🙏 Wishing the best for 2023.
@YooToobz thank you for that clarification. I couldn't remember if it was a family member or if it was a friend when you originally described him. I see the confusion because he was both ❤️ What a wonderful person you are. I hope you are reading the comments because not only are you passing on your loved ones memory, your also giving people comfort and hope. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. We need more kind and caring people like you. God Bless you and your family and im sure your brother is looking down on you with great pride. Thank you ❤️
Thanks for sharing your story Brandon. Frankly, I’m surprised it cut the half inch so easily. The only question is how well it will hold up. But for someone who doesn’t use it regularly, it should be just dandy.
Honestly @melgross I was blown away how well it worked on 120 volt. I think from memory it was only putting out 7 more or so amps on 240 vs 120 so for me I probably wouldn't even bother switch it over to 220 for the majority of the stuff I do but you are right, who knows how long it will hold up. Another viewer commented that he found this on Amazon through my link with a 10 dollar coupon and a 3 year waranty for another 21 dollars. I never buy extended warranties but for 21 bucks I probably would.
Thanks for sharing the story about your mom. We spoke in the comments on the last video and told me about this one. I would have watched anyway of course, but I’m so glad you shared. Build videos and giveaways are great content, but it’s nice to see a little bit of your life in there too. I’m a believer as well, and that story about your mom’s spirit and the wind is so awesome. I definitely found some comfort in your story like you assumed I would. My friend’s MRI showed no growth in his brain tumor. Thank god 🙏🏼 It’s still terminal, but he will for sure be around to meet his 3rd child in February we assume. When the day comes, I’ll 100% make sure there is a door open thanks to you. God bless you and thank you again for the story and the content. 🙌🏼🙏🏼💪🏼
Thank you so much and thats great news about your friend. The Lord has a plan for us all and he clearly wants your friend here a little longer. Thank you for this awesome news and God Bless him, his family and you.
Brandon your a grand lad for sharing your story and emotions ,we lost our daughter in law and baby she has visited us since she past ,so never think that they’ve gone they have just moved to a better place and watching all the time ,I’m staying ,god bless No bangs no fizz it looks like it works just fine how technology has moved on from oxy acet stay safe 👍👨🏻🏭🇬🇧
I'm sorry to hear that Paul. I cant imagine the pain but I do believe they visit us and I'm glad she visits you. I go to my moms every day. She passed on 12/9 and I still announce myself when I enter as if she is there and talk to her as though she is still there. The last time I went there I menitioned the next time I came back I was going to grab her floor lamp for my house. When I can back the next day to pick it up the lamp was turned on. I'm the only one with a key to her place. I just laughted and said thank you mom out loud.
very well put brandon, what a uplifting story i lost my dad a couple years ago its hard, love it how you have no problem put it out there, i also built bridges been in church my whole life, deff i believe the same god bless to you also we do have have a better place we are going, sorry for your loss, but what a great story thank you
@krisbelanger2267 thanks man and I'm sorry for your loss. I debated if I should put it out there but it was too powerful to NOT share. I always thought I would be a basket case when my mom passed but because of her illness getting me to church and then experienceing what I experienced upon her death I couldn't hold back. Actually, I stood up in front of our congregation 9 days after her passing and told this story to them. If you asked me 6 months ago if I could have pulled it off it would have been a hard NO WAY! I broke down a couple times but only because the whole congregation was in tears. So what I thought was going to be me turning into a train wreck actually turned out to be the most special gift anyone could have given and it's given me strength. It's pretty hard not to be comfortted and relieved when you know that your love one is in eternal peace. I hope you find comfort in knowing that one day you will get to rejoyce with your dad and I'm sure he is looking out for you. God Bless brother!
I've had similar experiences throughout my life with signs of someone who has passed being here. One of those is someone who I helped the last week of their life as they succumbed to cancer. They have come back to me 10 years later numerous times as I won the cancer battle. Your mom was lucky to have a son that took such good care of her. Many blessings to you. As for that plasma cutter, I'm seriously impressed. For that price point, a lot more people can afford one.
@michelecrown2426 I love hearing these stories because it is such a comforting feeling when they return. I think it is them letting us know their appreciation and its a gift from them letting us know everything is ok
Brandon. That which you called a story was most definitely a testimony to all believers. Your reply to my comment you called me awesome. No, you're the awesome one. It is said when the praises go up the blessing comes down. Continue your journey in life and on the channel because you are a blessing to me and others. God bless you 🙏
Thanks again for the info, especially the safety tips. As a parent of 4 and being a believer myself, I can tell you that there is nothing more comforting than knowing that your kids love the Lord and have a relationship with Him. I'm sure your mom was proud of you but more than anything she was comforted to know that you are a man of faith.
Thanks, Brandon for another great video. And thanks for sharing your story about your mom and the faith experience you had. Your story was uplifting and sincere. Thanks again for a great video!
Brandon... in the Philippines where I live as an ex-pat... we use 220v @ 60 hz with Standard Plugs for most things and we, at least " I " wrap Red Tape on all 120v connector plugs (if I use a step-down transformer for my US appliances) as again 220v is our standard here. Folks in the US could do same in reverse. One could also use Red Spray Paint to identify/separate the different voltages. Just sharing what I do. The mileage of others may vary... and Thumbs Up on your videos.
Thanks for sharing the story about you mother. Total respect. Really impressed with this little beast. Good one. Can't beat it for the price point 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Thanks to the viewer for donating it to the channel. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
@bazkeen Thanks for watching Basil! I love our community. I really do and I'm totally impressed with this unit. In fact I'm going to buy one for myself and keep it in my mobile welding trailer I'm building (of coarse I'm going to open it up and inspect the insdes first LOL). I really wanted to open this one up and check it out but then again it would fall back on me if anything ever happened.
This was not only informative but this was the most beautiful story of a sons love and respect for his parents, and the lord that gives us all the opportunity to appreciate life. My mom always told me to spend time with her while she is alive and not at the cemetery. I honored her wishes before and after her passing. You are a great son. God bless you 🙏
I just have to say that you are an amazing young man and I'm glad to know you and to know your testimony. My Mom and Dad, both passed from cancer and it's a tough ride. An old preacher once said that you can't lose someone, when you know where they are.
Great video, , Brandon! I witnessed the" magic blue smoke"several times in my life when someone plugged a 120v unit into an improperly marked 240v outlet. Very expensive outcome several times! I refuse to even temporarily wire one up this way because I might forget this fact and witness " magic blue smoke"! Suicide adapter is the correct term! Thanks for your time and sharing! 👍😎✌️
I have never seen such a thing until probably about 8 months ago. I ordered a machine and it came wired this way and it came with the suicide adaptor included. Crazy!
Hi Brandon When you saw and heard the wind chimes when it was all calm that was your mum saying "I am still with you" even though you can not see her, when you saw the beam of light that was your mum saying "I am still looking over you and your family", always remember that you always carry your mum with you where ever you go or with what ever you do, because your mum is in your heart, mind and soul. Showing what the plasma torch can do on 240v was a great way to show people the plasma torch capabilities, good work Brandon and to the unknown subscriber who donated the plasma torch peace and condolences on your loss, blessings to you for the beautiful kind heart you carry. To everyone have a beautiful and prosperous 2023. God bless you all.
Again, my condolences go out to you and your family. Don’t ever apologize for being you and believing what you believe. If you lose subs because you’re talking about you, they don’t have respect for anyone and that’s shameful. I’m a non believer but you bet I take my hat off and keep my comments to myself while people around me are praying. A little humility goes a long way. And you are showing yourself to be incredibly relatable. Again, my condolences and keep being you!
@philipclark6841 Thank you and much respect for you for being honest and respectful. The world needs more of this. I found your comment very heartfelt and uplifting. Thank you for your kind words and support.
Thanks for sharing with us Brandon, so sorry for the loss of your Mother here on earth but she will be watching over you and your family. Stay safe and keep up the good work and videos and will be watching as I can. Fred.
Your mother was a lady and i can see that from your personality. I also lost my mother to cancer and appreciate your comments and views. God bless and thanks for taken the time to tell your story.
Brandon you have me crying over hear! I moved to NC from NY to take care of my mom so I can relate. When that time comes I will leave the window open! My condolence’s
15:18 Brandon, if you lose subscribers because you are a great son, because you joined your mother in faith and found a place where you discovered solace- they can pound sand and good riddance. I am truly impressed that you have carried on through the last several years. That shows strength and commitment and also shows that when you needed to focus on the truly important things in life while not losing those pieces of yourself that gave you a break from the hard parts, you adjusted. Take your time to heal. We left the window open too and the clock in my moms room stopped when she passed. Those wind chimes were her telling you she was free and joyous and sending back her love to you. I know you held back tears a few times in this video, let them flow friend. There is no shame in them. There is no weakness. They are tears of sorrow and joy and respect for the life that she gave you. And thanks for being on the bandwagon of manufacturing doing the right thing not the expedient or cheap one. I’ll throw my hat in the ring for this one - rest assured that plug is coming off whoever wins it. You’ve made your case well.
Sometimes in life there are no words and this is one of them. There is no way I could articulate how meaningful and truly heartfelt your comment is. This is beautiful ♥. God Bless you🙏 @valeriemurphy8626
Great video as always brother. That’s a very impressive plasma cutter to be so small. Hopefully the person that wins it will keep you posted on the long term performance. I hope a lot of folks take notice of the dangers of that pigtail design. So sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. We’ll continue to lift you and your family up in prayers. To any of you out there that don’t know the peace of having Jesus Christ as your savior I pray that you seek and find it. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 Wishing you the very best in 2023!!! God bless!
@houndofgoshen5363 This right here! "To any of you out there that don’t know the peace of having Jesus Christ as your savior I pray that you seek and find it". Best feeling in the world. If it wasn't for my mom I might not have. I'm thankful and blessed. God Bless you brother!
Brandon, I wish I knew about leaving a door open back in July of 2020 when I was with my Mom as she took her last breath. Not a bad run, she was just a few months short of 98 years of age! I am not an overly religious person, but I do consider myself spiritual. As far as losing subscribers, i doubt it. I am an avid angler and followed Al Lindner for years. When he started his new program called "Angling Edge" after they sold "In-Fisherman", he always closes the show with a short segment on his faith. Like he says, you are free to switch off at that point, but I always listen. Very often there is a pearl of wisdom shared! Anyways, I applaud what you are doing and appreciate your honesty.
Thank you so much man. Don't sweat that door open thing. I asked my wife what would happen if I didn't and she said they just get out easier if you do but they still get out either way. It sounds like a nice long life though. After my moms passing I'm much less worried about people's take on my views. If they want to listen thats great but if not they can turn off like you mentioned. What I learned is there is a lot more of us like minded folks than I imagined. I'm just going to keep being me :)
I bought a plasma cutter last year. One of the deciding factors was the fact that it came with the male 240 volt connector. I had seen a video prior to buying mine about the "suicide connector"! I did not buy the Yes Welder plasma because they come wired the same as you showed. I even contacted them about this problem. Due either to the language barrier, or just plain stupidity, they would not ship a machine wired correctly. I did look for consumables on their site and Amazon. There are two different consumables (at least for the AG60 torch). One nozzle has a 0.30 orifice for 120 volt use up to 30 amps. the second nozzle has a 0.40 orifice for 240 volt use up to 55 amp. Thought you might like to know.
Hey Brandon, I was so moved by your story that I am downloading this video and plan on trimming it down to only include the story about your experience with your Mom, so that I can send it to some people that I know are in the same situation. The wind chimes were an uplifting note that everyone should hear. I have to sign on to You Tube premium to be able to do that, it is a subscription based app that has a monthly fee attached but I feel that it is worth it just for that one story you told. Thanks again for all you do.
Awww man thank you so much. I really debated weather or not I should share this because most people dont tune in to a welding channel to hear about non related content but I just felt so compelled to share what I experienced first hand hoping it might help someone else that was going through grief. I'm glad I did and I appreciate you taking the time to share this with others as well. God bless you and your family @salceti
Dear Brandon thank you for your views and your honesty do not worry about like others have commented to pack a wolves who might be out there my two have the same story as many of the other viewers and I appreciate your views and your beliefs there's nothing wrong with it hope you have a great year looking forward to the next video
🙋🏼 HI Brandon & Viewers Would love to say hello and that this is by far the best welding channel on UA-cam that there is . I have been a long-time viewer and watched a lot of videos on welding every day for years. @theodorebowers9737 thank you so much man and I cant agree with you more about the viewers on this channel. I am blessed for sure. I love watching videos about welding and I go right to the comment like everyone else and a lot of channel have some really toxic stuff going on in the comments which is sad. I am so fortunate that better than 99% of the viewers on this channel are really considerate towards me and each other. God Bless you Theodore thanks for watching and for your wonderful comment!

I have been through the same thing. You never forget. Glad you are back! I tried to cut 3/4 this weekend. Not good. LOL! Right now I am in the process of cutting a 5 foot long cut. I am using a 7 inch cut off wheel. Very slow. I am making a metal brake.
@@BrandonLund I am cutting 3/4 inch. I set the plasma cutter at 50 amps and that air at 60 psi. I can't seem to get it to blow through. I have to tell you it is an old snow plow blade.
I'm sorry for your loss Brandon ,love your videos and sharing your faith is the way it's supposed to be . that's a nice little plasma cutter as always your video was informative someone will be lucky to win this I am not going to enter for the drawing since I already have a plasma cutter , someone that doesn't have one will be happy to win this .Happy new year and God bless take care my friend .
That's very noble of you brother to pass the torch to someone else! You rock! Proving once again that we have the best community on the web! @michaelosborne513
@@BrandonLund I just feel that since I already have the equipment someone else that doesn't have one would be better served to get the one you are willing to give one of your viewers ,but I do thank you for the offer God bless tae care my friend .
Hey, Brandon! Personally, I really appreciated you sharing your Mother's journey. I am not religious per se, but I am very spiritual. I too believe there is something after our time here. I really love the part about the wind chime. If you are willing, can you DM me regarding something I do regarding the wind chimes? And for anyone that complained about the build videos being irregular, they are the one's that have issues. You gotta be you. Your faithful channel members are here to support you through thick and thin! And regarding G the plasma cutter, just wow! It cut right through that 1/2 " plate! Yowsa!
@MinionsSmithy I will reach out to you for sure. I'm on the road at the moment but as soon as I get in I will reach out. Thank you for your support. I am truly blessed to have a great bunch of folks here surrounding me.
Brandon, believe brother, when my daughter and myself were in roll over accident 2011 I was having a dream 2 weeks every day and on the 2nd week the dream played all the way thru and my dad who passed away earlier in 11 was sitting between my daughter and myself holding our chests keeping us safe. That was really beautiful and truly believe my father passed away to save our lives.
I love this! When I thought I was simply giving my mom a ride to church ended up with me being exposed to something that I otherwise wouldn't have set aside the time to pursue. It's amazing how the Lord works. I firmly believe the Lord has a plan for us all and as cruel as it might sound, if my mom wasn't sick I wouldn't have made the time to go to church. Thankfully I did because now I'm a follower of Christ so that one day I can take the same journey my mom took and join her in eternal peace. I strongly believe that those in heaven watch over us and that was your father telling you that he was watching over you and your daughter the day of the crash. It wasn't your time. God Bless you both!
@@BrandonLund thank you and you have become one of my favorite UA-camrs simply with this posting today. I lived your channel before but now I really love it. Your a very good person for giving that plasma cutter away. Maybe one day I can donate sometime to the channel. Your new friend in Arizona. Eddie
Really proud of you Brandon firm believer here was baptized again last year you find a good church and everything will just fall into place. And my bro died in 2019 and the signs like say there is nothing more peaceful then seeing a struggling person not struggle anymore!! Another great video!! God bless you my friend!!
That is awesome brother! I had never been baptized. My mom wanted to wait until I was older so I could choose. My mom was baptized as a baby but as an adult she wanted to be baptized again so after she got me involved we decided to do it together in a lake. It was pretty aweseome and an experience I will never forget.
Cool plasma cutter! Thanks for the demo. But more important, thanks for talking about your faith. And talking about your mother. I the through something very similar and I wish I had more time with her. God bless you!
Blessings and peace to you, your family, and the commenter William, recently lost a loved one as well, airhugs to you folks. A neat idea to offer another givaway reaching out to others to refocus off self. Sometimes one is selfish and would rather our loved ones back in our reach 🥺
@@BrandonLund, you do good work in the shop and on UA-cam. As a 40 year mechanical engineer (and to steal a term from AvE…angry pixies :- ), I appreciate your lessons in taming the angry pixies 😁. I lost my hero/dad to cancer almost 10 years ago and without Faith, it would have been unbearable Brandon. Hang in there Brother!
@chammockutube what you said right here "without Faith, it would have been unbearable" Is super powerful once you actually experience the power of the Lord. I wouldn't have fully understood this prior to my mom getting sick. I was telling another viewer that I always figured I would be a basket case once my mom passed. But then my moms sickness brought me to the church then It hit me. Not only did I have the strength to see this as something positive for her, I found comfort in her passing and I had the strength to stand up in front of our entire congregations and tell them this story 9 days after her passing. Without the Lord there is no way I could have done this on my own.
I’m sorry for everyone’s loss or dealing with this terrible disease. I have been taking care of my wife of 50 years since 2019. Stage 4 colon cancer. She has been operated on 4 different times. Now she sleeps almost 21 to 23 hours a day. I get her to eat very little. I am very frustrated that the Doctors only want to give her chemo. I put my foot down and told them enough! She doesn’t eat or drink enough to survive the treatments. My prayers are with you all. And thank you for your sharing. The power of Prayer is real ! Your Mom is still with you. Oh could you Enter me into the chance to win that cool cutter. Please
Your in Greg and prayers to you and your wife. Your wifes journey sounds very simular to my moms, Rest easy knowing when the Lord wants her home he will call. Stay strong, have faith enjoy the time you have. God Bless you both.
Sorry to hear about your mom. I know the pain she went through because I have been fighting bone cancer myself for the last 3 years. My right femur and knee was replaced. All this to say that I understand and will continue to support your videos.
Both of my welder and plasma cutter have the 110 Volt plugs. I don't like it but I have gotten used to it. At some point I want to put heavier cords on both. God Bless you Brandon.
Lad this is only my second video to watch of yours. I subscribed a while ago but life's too busy I never get a moment to sit and smell the roses. Fair play to your honesty. Fuck people online, pressure is for tires! You're a good man. For your experiences, mentality, honesty and your creativity. And bravo for sharing your knowledge and personal shit too. Stay blessed pal, ill be liking everything I see of yours. Thanks man! James, Dublin, Ireland.
Thank you James I appreciate your support. Make sure your taking some time for YOU...we all need a break occasionally. It's good for the soul. Thanks again brother and Happy Easter
Good video and job. My mom last three years were worse than death to she couldn't see. they cut off toes ,foot, below knee, above knee and then they whated to take the other leg off at the hip she said no more. You do what you need to do. Do videos when you have time it's hard to watch loved one's die a slow death. The best we can hope for is to die in our sleep. Take care be safe and well.
Thank you for sharing I think you were sincere and your thoughts and comments please to keep your faith. I enjoy watching your channels and do not let inconsiderate people affect you
Hey Brandon, thanks for the video, if you feel you need to take some time away from the web and spend it with family just do it. No need to ask permission from anyone. Do what’s in your heart. If you need to immerse yourself in making videos, do that. It will help you find comfort.
Hi Brandon, I enjoyed the video and that you share experience with us. I am also spiritually inclined and certainly believe that there is more after death. Your experience is proof of this, also from the father's husband and the snow, I believe it. Don't worry about the negative people, we who continue to love the man "Brandon Lund" and that you also make nice videos, is a nice bonus. Stay healthy, strength for your family and kind regards.
@christianbos1691 thank you so much brother I appreciate it. I feel very blessed to have this great bunch of people rallying around me. It's an honor and very much appreciated. God Bless you and your family. Your entered.
Very good video,, first of all , you do what you feel you should do,, never let someone else try to live your life for you. On the 240v adaptor I made one from a 25' extension cord , it has the 240v on one end and the 120v on the other. I'm the only one in my shop so I know not to use it on anything else. I have 2 welders that are made to use either and 1 plasma cutter the same way. Keep up the good work !!!! and Thank you !!!
Brandon I'm so sorry for your loss! That adapter reminds me the jerry rigging that we had to do after hurricane Maria in order to plug generators thru the 240 dryer. We called them "suicide plugs" too. We turned off the house main breaker (illegal) and plug the generator thru the dryer plug. Difficult times, difficult decisions. I did that for about 10 days until i could get the proper hardware and install a transfer switch.
I appreciate it Jose. Shes in a better place for sure. We had simular situation back in the 90's. We had an "Ice storm" and we were without power for 14 days and I had to do the same through a welder plug and we shut off the main breaker. You have to make due in tough times. We had a well also, so without power we also had no water.
It's not sappy. It is the truth as you know it. Your sharing that experience is so heartwarming and brings joy to more than you know and from the comments below, you are supported with Love and Friendship. I am going to share this video on my page, and I would encourage all who see it to do the same, as presenting the Love of God to all who will hear, is of such great worth, in my opinion. And, when you heard the chimes, I go back to the old movie "Its a Wonderful Life" and remember that every time a bell rings, another angel gets thier wings. Be well, be safe, and most of all, be Blessed!!!
Thank you so much Jim! I was telling someone the other day that asked me "how I was holding up". Honestly I feel very strong. It's amazing to me because I always thought I would be a wreck when my mom passed away and I probably would be if my mom hadn't been the influence that got me into the church so that I could see and feel that there is much more to life than what I knew or believed. Having her make that commotion that she did as her spirit left her body was best gift anyone could have given me. It's the reason that makes it easy for me to let go knowing she is safe with the Lord. The other night I went to my moms house to check on things and I said out loud "next time I come over mom I grabbing that lamp". She has a nice floor lanp I want for my office. I came back the next day to get it and the lamp was turned on. I'm the ONLY one with a key to her house. I just laughed and said thank you mom. I am blessed to have this affirmation in my life.
And the amazing part Jim is that a year ago I was a believer but really wasn't vested in it if that makes sense. Like I mentioned about having to go to church as a kid. I went, I believed in the Lord, I figurued if I just try to be a good person and try to live a good life and keep my fingers crossed that maybe one day I will go to heaven. I never really understood it though. If my mom wasn't sick I probably would have never taken the time to go to chuch as an adult. But what the preacher was saying on undays felt like she was talking to me. It was like the serom was about me so then I started looking forward to it. Then WE got baptized and with her passing is what really cemented everything together for me. A year ago I probably would have brushed it off as nothing but knowing what I know now its very powerful and comforting knowing its HER saying hello and letting me know she's with me.
I lost my mom to covid 2 months after my wife's miscarriage, so I definitely understand the deep feelings. Anyone that would unsubscribe because of your belief system I feel is a win for you. Those kind of people nobody needs in thier life. I have a different belief system, but that is the great thing about this country. Everyone does not need to be the same to be friendly and get along!
Thanks for sharing with us both things, spiritual and safety. I checked my plasma cutter, and sure enough it is the same. I am going to change the plug on my cutter to a male hubbel type twist lock connector. My welder has this, so I can use the same adapters it uses. It has a male hubbel type twist lock on it's power cord, which can be plugged into either a 240 (hubbel female to 240v welder plug) or a 120 (hubbel female to 120v plug). So I can use the adapters on the plasma cutter or the welder......and be safer. Thanks to you my spirit has been lifted and possibly prevented it from leaving my body too soon, by using that unsafe adapter. God loves you, and so do we.
Hahahahahah thank you so much! Not only did I love your wonderful comment but the part about "Thanks to you my spirit has been lifted and possibly prevented it from leaving my body too soon, by using that unsafe adapter" had me laughing out loud😁🤣 I needed that! . Thank you and God Bless
great stuff I enjoy the projects you do, when i was growing up my father was a welder / maintance for Coors Brewing company. unfortunately while i was growing up i did not take advantage of his teaching in his field, when he passed 5yrs ago we liquidated his shop he had built over the years which i have now regrets, now that Iam retired I've decided to pursue learning to weld, Ran across your channel and think you have great projects that i will eventually try, Personal note about your love of your mother it reminded me of something my mother once told me when i asked why she rarely cried at her mother and fathers and my sister and brothers funerals and she told me that death is part of Gods process of life and its best to remember loved ones daily as they are able to feel those thoughts and that's what helps me as I'm the only child left, Keep doing what you enjoy.
Thank you so much for your support and kind words. It sounds like your mother was a very wise lady. There is a strength that comes with knowing there is something more for us. God bless you brother!
@davestewart9146 I debated if I should because people tune in to watch welding, not hear me rant about my religious experiences but it had suchc an impact on me that I felt I had to share it so that others that might be struggling also can have comfort knowing there is so much more than we know or understand about life and death. I always thought I was going to be a basket case when my passed. It was actually the complete opposite. I now feel comfort knowing she is in eternal peace and hopefully others can find some sumilarities with their loved ones passing.
@@BrandonLund like I mentioned before, you can always talk to me, I went through something similar when my mother in law passed, sometimes it’s nice to have someone listen ❤️
Say strong, family is the most important thing. I worked as a Q.C/tube welder for 30 years $150K a year, I quit and came home when my mom got sick and took a $100K a year cut. I got to spend 2 years with my mom before she passed and haven't looked backed since.

Thank you so much and I'm sorry for your loss
My mother died 35 years ago this May of breast cancer. I still tear up telling her story. How you didn't, amazed me. The wind chimes WAS your mother's soul, as was the light coming down on your home. My Uncle Gus loved the snow. When he died it was a January that was cold but dry. As we carried him from the hearse to his grave it started to snow like crazy. As we placed him on the cradle to lower him into the vault, the snow instantly stopped. I surely believe. God Bless You Sir!
That is incredible @peterkolovos3079 I love hearing these testimonies. God Bless you!
Thank you so much Andrew for your kind words and support! 🙏
Thanks man I appreciate your kind words and support! 👍🙏
Super comment on the 240V plug issue. I’d have never thought of the risk to other tools.
Thanks man I appreciate it! @aj7utu
Excellent comparison between voltages. Don't worry about getting sappy, every pigtail video I've ever watched has brought a tear to my eye.
Awwww thank you. You made me smile. Have a great day :)
Thank you so much! I am truly blessed to have a great bunch of people surrounding me and supporting me such as yourself. God Bless!
Brandon,
Yeah, I would definitely change the head of that plug. I installed my welding power in my shop last year. Not hard, because I only had to run it 2 feet. Haha
But yes to whoever gets the Plasma cutter you should get the head on the cord changed if you plan on using it in 240 mode. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and good luck in this Drawing for the plasma cutter!
@emickett thank you so much man and Happy New Year to you brother! Blessings!
Thank you so much for this compliment! I appreciate it brother. God Bless!
I have gone through a similar experience with my mother who died in 2015. Not sure l have got over her loss yet. Anyway, all the best for 2023.
Best regards,
Jon.
North Yorkshire, England.
Thank you Jon I appreciate your support and kind words. 2022 was a rough year for me. God Bless you and your family!
Happy new year man!!!!🥳
Thanks man this is an awesome comment @ajcole3353 I appreciate your support. Your entered!
Sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing it with us.
@MrCuervo01 Thank you for your support
Your reviews are always clear and understandable.
Thank you so much!
Thanks Brandon for your story, allowed me to think of my late wife, while learning something new. You never know what will trigger memories, this video did, & I thank you for that.
Thank you Robert and may she rest in peace.
Happy New Year 🎉
Dear Skeeter,
Sorry for the loss of your cherished friend and brother. Your decision to keep his Spirt alive through your thoughtfulness and generosity is heart-warming and restores my faith in humanity. I am the youngest son from a large family. (six brothers and one sister)
My next older brother and I are only siblings let from the immediate family. So, I can relate to your loss.
As a fellow veteran, I want to thank you for your service as well. God bless! 🙏
Wishing the best for 2023.
Thank you Skeeter. God bless.
Thank you ❤️
@@stephenrichards6508 I appreciate you very much
@@Bill-YellowDogWeldingthank you 🙏🏽
Thanks for sharing your story Brandon.
Brandon your a grand lad for sharing your story and emotions ,we lost our daughter in law and baby she has visited us since she past ,so never think that they’ve gone they have just moved to a better place and watching all the time ,I’m staying ,god bless
No bangs no fizz it looks like it works just fine how technology has moved on from oxy acet stay safe 👍👨🏻🏭🇬🇧
@@BrandonLund AMEN!! He works in amazing ways, I can feel your excitement from here, right on brother
I am new to your channel and I am loving it already, I ordered my first welder and your videos have helped before I even get started.Thank Mark Eye
Thanks Mark and welcome aboard! I appreciate your support
God bless you 🙏
Thank you so much for this! I appreciate that! God Bless you!
I appreciate that! Thank you 🙏
Brandon... in the Philippines where I live as an ex-pat... we use 220v @ 60 hz with Standard Plugs for most things and we, at least " I " wrap Red Tape on all 120v connector plugs (if I use a step-down transformer for my US appliances) as again 220v is our standard here. Folks in the US could do same in reverse. One could also use Red Spray Paint to identify/separate the different voltages. Just sharing what I do. The mileage of others may vary... and Thumbs Up on your videos.
Thank you so much and thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing the story about you mother. Total respect.
Really impressed with this little beast. Good one. Can't beat it for the price point 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Thanks to the viewer for donating it to the channel.
@@BrandonLund Yes. A great idea to see the insides in a future video. Agree on doing it to that one. Don't need the hassel 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Good one Brandon 👌🏻
This was not only informative but this was the most beautiful story of a sons love and respect for his parents, and the lord that gives us all the opportunity to appreciate life.
My mom always told me to spend time with her while she is alive and not at the cemetery.
I honored her wishes before and after her passing.
You are a great son. God bless you 🙏
Thank you Pete I appreciate that! God Bless you as well!
I lost my mom to cancer 19 years ago and your story had me tearing up, I too believe my mom is in a better place, prayers to you and your family
I'm sorry for your loss. I believe she is in a better place also Mark. God Bless
I just have to say that you are an amazing young man and I'm glad to know you and to know your testimony. My Mom and Dad, both passed from cancer and it's a tough ride. An old preacher once said that you can't lose someone, when you know where they are.
Wow I love that! Thank you!
Crazy!
Hahahahaha I bet!
Hi Brandon
When you saw and heard the wind chimes when it was all calm that was your mum saying "I am still with you" even though you can not see her, when you saw the beam of light that was your mum saying "I am still looking over you and your family", always remember that you always carry your mum with you where ever you go or with what ever you do, because your mum is in your heart, mind and soul.
@philipburrows This is absolutely beaufiful. Thank you! 🙏
Fred.
Thank you Fred I truly believe that. God Bless you and your family.
Your mother was a lady and i can see that from your personality. I also lost my mother to cancer and appreciate your comments and views. God bless and thanks for taken the time to tell your story.
I'm sorry for your loss and thank you for your beautiful comment. God Bless you and your family!
Brandon you have me crying over hear! I moved to NC from NY to take care of my mom so I can relate. When that time comes I will leave the window open! My condolence’s
Thanks man it was absolutely beautiful and we ate so blessed to have been given that wonderful gift
GOOD SHOW THANK YOU!
Our pleasure!
1 Corinthians 1:18
Wishing you the very best in 2023!!!
Very interesting. I was not aware of this. Im sure it will be handy to others also!

I have been through the same thing. You never forget. Glad you are back! I tried to cut 3/4 this weekend. Not good. LOL! Right now I am in the process of cutting a 5 foot long cut. I am using a 7 inch cut off wheel. Very slow. I am making a metal brake.
A lot of the manufactures claim they will cut 1" but I have yet to see that happen. % foot is a big cut if it's 3/4 your cutting.

Thanks for your testimony.
Thanks Bruce I'm blessed to have the opprotunity.
@@BrandonLund That brings a tear to my eye and a joy to my heart!!!
I love this comment. Thank you for sharing! I'm also very sorry for your losses. I can't imagine. Stay strong brother ❤️
Brandon you have a kind heart
Thank you Dwayne I appreciate it!
This meant a lot to me that you shared something so personal on your channel, thank you my friend ❤️
Thank you buddy! ♥

LOVE YOUR STORY OF YOUR MOM RIP TO HER
Thanks buddy I appreciate it!
Sorry for your loss. Great videos
Thank you ❤️
Say strong, family is the most important thing. I worked as a Q.C/tube welder for 30 years $150K a year, I quit and came home when my mom got sick and took a $100K a year cut. I got to spend 2 years with my mom before she passed and haven't looked backed since.
Good on you! 👊👍
Thank for shareing that story .
