As opposed to what Lydia and murugi said, dowry In Islam is for the bride and bride only. It acts as a form of security for her in the event that anything happens. She’s also the one to name what she wants😊

I studied IT and my first job was a sales rep before getting an actual job in IT . Though I was not happy all along I had to make it work otherwise I would have starved 😅😅

About dowry, it is a beautiful culture.i agree and to add to that, Lydia, whatever your mom was "bought" that's how much you'll be bought. If it was 99 goats, then you'll be bought 99 goats. Now, the price of the goat ndio tofauti. N, it's not must u get the full price at once, it's actually encouraged to not finish paying at once even if you're capable. This will make ua Manz be close to your family,cz he'll keep coming to pay.. I love ruracios so much. More than a white wedding

On the points about work, for many of us the complication arises where, you struggle to get a job in whatever course you did, you try something else, you struggle to get a job as well because of not having studied that or having enough experience even if its an entry level position. If you manage to get a job in what you didnt study and at some point you try looking for an entry level job in the field you studied, the potential employer is like you have experience but its not in this field, so it becomes a cycle of doing this and that, of taking whatever job comes along and of someone using it against you because its not a linear path and you dont have enough experience in one field. All in all, we remain hopeful.

Hello Lydia, you ladies look phenomenal.
So we all know your love languages words of affirmation and acts of service. And yes you're really hard on them. Do you ever stop to think that this man will approach you with this exact knowledge about you, love you in these languages and yet be the wrong person for you.
