I love how polite you are about being "I guess" the better player. Unless Merrin is a sockpuppet account of Mochy then yes you are the better player :)
hello. i hear very often you refering many positions to moneygames, but which one type of moneygames is mostly valuable for practice(training and learning bg) - with or without Jacoby rule?
Hi, If you want to practice moneygame mainly as a tool to improve at normal match scores, I would take the Jacoby Rule out. If you want to practise for playing in a Chouette I would play with Jacoby
without spoiling your book too much (I ordered it already haha), how often is Michy's general principle of "it is better to make a good point than to hit loose" correct?
Michy's book is great but I think this concept is too broad. My answer to whether to hit or make a point: it depends. In the book I discuss the most important factors
@@dirkschiemann3610 thanks for the answer, the principle has helped me a lot but I have heard from some people that it's too broad! Can't wait to read your book (I am Csaba from Belgium)
Really insightful, thanks very much Dirk!
Your welcome! Well done. Good luck for your next rounds.
Nice drop on the blitz early in the match! Thanks for the new content.
Thanks Dirk. You comment 1:27:53 on the double-3s play by Merrin was very interesting: should play super safe when leading 2a6a.
The influence of the cube and the score on checker play is one of the most interesting and most fun things in backgammon to me.

Hi:) I wanted to know how to play in the website heroes, I know you need an invite, but I have no idea how to get one:(
I dont know what is the best way to get an invite. I think if you become a member of WBIF than you will be automatically allowed to play on Heroes
