Leverage is your second best friend here, right after the right tools 🙌🏾😎
Thanks for watching.
Or use a vice for a far less complex result by placing the removal tool in the vice and use the rim as leverage.
I’ve still come across some that won’t come off that way.
What is that tool call that takes off the spraywheel
Park Tool Freewheel Remover
Now I just need to find a 1m pipe, don’t need the pipe now, came off with the spanner. Thank you for your advice
No problem. Works well on the ones that need a bit extra.
I have an 80's suntour freewheel.... where did you get that old school tool from?? Much love from the BloodShot Studio!
Hey mate honestly I can’t remember. Second hand from somewhere.
@@re-rides any chance you could hit me up with the measurements of the tool so I can find the right one online? 🙏😊
Is it a 4 prong about 40mm across? I’ve got a Suntour from 1978 and the ParkTool FR-6 is a good fit.
@@519CZRacer thanks bud!!
I have a old school bmx rear wheel, trying to remove the sprocket, it's a 2 prong type, where's a good place to get the right tools to remove it?. I'm not having any luck finding the correct tool.
If you can’t find the tool take it to your local bike shop. Maybe they will have one to fit and help you out.
Great tips mate 😎Cheers 🤙
Appreciate it.
You make it look so easy
Using this method, I’ve not had a freewheel I can’t get off.
* breaker bar. Put the right spanner in there and not an adjustable nut rounder.
Unfortunately my right size spanner can’t be shoved into the end of a pipe. Certainly would stop the rounding of the removal tool yep.
Excellent second unit videography from your wife 😉
Sure is.
Video starts at the 8 minute mark
