My fiancé dumped me (26F) when he found out I had slept with 11 guys before him.
I was the last of my friends to have sex. I started to feel like something was wrong with me. I eventually lost my virginity to a hookup to get it out of the way. I didn’t have sex for awhile after that, but had a few hookups my senior year of college. I regretted it soon after and made the decision that I wasn’t going to hook up with anyone ever again.
I started dating after college, but I wasn’t clear on what qualities I was looking for in a long term partner. I had sex with a few people I probably shouldn’t have because of this.
I have a lot of regrets, but I was doing my best with the information I had at the time. When my fiancé asked me about the number of people I slept with before him, I was honest. Not only about the number, but about the pressure to have sex initially, the regret and shame I feel about past decisions, and how I would go back in time and do things differently if I could. He dumped me and now I’ questioning if any man will ever want to marry me because of this. I am also so nervous to start dating again, because that means more sex with new people and my number will only get higher.
I want nothing more than to have a family of my own. I'm scared I'll never get it.
Also, now that I’m thinking a little clearer, the body count discussion came up immediately after I asked him to try to make me orgasm. Thought we could all get a nice laugh with that.

I barely got to talk to her about the reason I wanted to break up because she spent the majority of the time talking about why she wanted to (listing all my past mistakes, etc) so i just let her get it all out to hopefully give her a better a sense of closure. i tried to bring it up and was cut off and shamed for my views with her accusing me of accusing her of being slut, which i never did lol but i guess it triggered her.
It wouldnt have worked out anyways since we placed different values on sex. i think its more special for the one you love, while she views it as just sex. Incompatibilty sucks and next time i'll screen for this before getting too involved. thanks for asking.

However, if you are out there regretting your past, too bad. You chose to be impulsive and dumb when younger. I agree with both arguments. Statisticaly a high body count means more risk of an STD, of course I don't believe that it was mostly with virgins but it could be protective sex preventing the risk of STDs.

There is definitely a strong correlation of someone’s attractiveness and that person thinking 11 at 26 is a high body count. Meaning you are probably less attractive if this is how you feel.
It’s just about being easy. Having a high body count doesn’t correlate with being attractive. Being outgoing might. I have seen so many attractive individuals with low body counts and some fugly individuals with high ones.
