I share these videos in the hope that road users will take more care around cyclists. Unfortunately my skin and bones doesn't stand a chance against your big metal vehicle.

Have you considered not using an illegal E-bike on the roads? You're travelling at nearly 30mph on a homemade bomb. No driver is going to expect you to be able to reach those speeds. Be safe and not stupid mate
It’s a pedal assist e-bike. It will get you up to 15mph, after which it cuts out. Not difficult to pedal going down hill and get to 20-25mph.
Perfectly legal.
Don’t need to be speed limited by law, just power limited. There’s a difference!
It also looks to me that he is using an illegal throttle.

Cyclist is an amber gambler, the light was changing to green but if someone else decided to run their red, he was fucked. No hazard perception.

oh the trolls all come out to play, it was a close pass simple. Don't even bother to put these up just report them with the footage, if the local plod take it up, a double whammy with a fine, points then the Insurance hike.
Oh, and as you are going down hill your not technically speeding??? your under 30mph anyway. I would recommend to take the lane, move out to the centre of the road this gives you a safer escape to the left if needed, and as such as this road layout with traffic calming measures shown in your clip the driver is less likely to pull shit like this, if they do you can move left, it then becomes careless driving..~Trooper

Lets be purely hypothetical, you have a son or daughter riding to school and you get other road users do this to them? would you not be a little miffed, ask yourself what can you do? well ....join the dots. Well I do care.. funny you mention your kids but don't forget you were one one too.. so was I 🤣 always used to frustrate me that drivers of vehicles would sit behind me when I was I kid so I'd always go on the path or keep as much off the roads as possible, but then I guess I cared even then about holding up the traffic... might even call it being thoughtful.... sorry, chap, I'm of the old school dying breed of ppl who care.. I'd tell my kids to get off the roads...
