- It's Tip Tuesday again! 😁
We are just having a quick chat about what to do when your Lithops are splitting as I'm sure lots of yours are at the moment. 💖
Hope it helps! 👍
Any questions let us know and hopefully we can answer them for you on another Tip Tuesday! 😊
For plant orders head over to www.micks-succulents.com.au 🌵 We'll be doing a small shop update tomorrow around 6pm! 🌱
If the out leaves are extremely overwatered from the store I purchased from and new leaves are fully formed and still can’t absorb them, can you cut off part of the old leaves to help?
Bump, having this exact situation with three of them!
They are practically done splitting but there’s still so much water in the old leaves…shriveled a bit but still
Just found your channel 😀
I’m a newby to Lithops and have been starting my collection by regularly rescuing to poor guys from Bunnings.
I hope I’m doing the right thing trimming roots and repotting them in this stage?
Thanks for following us 😀🙏 yes you can trim the roots and they are ok with it 🙂👍 repotting is good after they have finished splitting.
What happens when they split? Can u take them off each other and propagate them?
If they split into 2 plants or more, you can divide them if you like. I just leave them 🙂 I hope that answers your question 🙂👍
Got it! SucculentJade :)
No worries! :D
My baby is grown up and making a new one im excited
Wow that's so cool! 😀👏
Hi, I just love all kinds off succulents. Currently mine look similar to yours in the right hand corner in the back. Is it normal for the previos splitted babies to "shed" & grow a new split?
