Thk you for this Ladies. It's really encouraging that God knows my future and God has prepared me for my widowed life. I trust him indeed...my steps are ordered by Him...and yes...I realize I have to remain in God's word now...which before...it was all about my hubby and what I needed to do for him....but now it's all about God...time spent with God and doing His will....my hubby is gone 3 years now..God has been my life totally for 3 years...what has awesome God we serve..his with me every step of the way..I'm 61 and my life now is listening to Him and doing what He would have me do. Thank Jesus for my company and my compass Amen❤❤
Praise God for you ladies. My beloved husband Angelo went to heaven almost 4 months ago. I am so thankful for the hope we have in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ that I will see my husband again in eternity. Bless you ladies.
Thank you for this it has been so helpful after 2 years as a widow and just feel a bit fearful at the moment but glad I can just trust Him in all things. He has been so faithful to me.

When I look back I can't see how God prepared me for the passing of my husband. But I won't give up on trusting Him and maybe one day I will see the preparation but right now I don't see it.

Intentional dependance on God,,like phillip to Jesus "'help my unbelieve'" struck by the hand of death loss of a loved one ,fear clips inn through the front and back door we feel molested by dread and fear..only God can totally deliver us..
That is very understandable, a young woman with children to raise is in a stage of life where the vulnerability created by the loss of her husband's protection and direction is so much more devastating. I pray for you Amanda that our Lord will surround you with support and kindness and that he has a plan to bring someone into your life when your heart is sufficiently healed. Meantime be strong in Christ, surround your kids with love, and lean into Jesus at every turn - you are precious in His eyes.
