Abiding Life Ministries International is a worldwide (150 countries so far) missions organization dedicated to the simple message that there is nothing the nearness of Christ cannot overcome. This message we call the abiding life (John 15) is best explained by the following illustration: Holding both hands out in front of you, imagine Christ on your right hand and your problems on your left hand. As you move the hand with problems toward you, the problems get your attention and become all-consuming. However, if you move the hand with Christ on it toward you, He gets your attention, and though the problems have not disappeared, they are not overwhelming. What gets your attention gets you.
The goal of Abiding Life Ministries is singular: We are missionaries to Christians and desire to see them focused on Christ and understanding all He has already done for them.

Thank you
Thanks, Tim - a very encouraging and sober message - even, perhaps especially, for those who have been long time followers of Jesus. "He who called you is faithful, and He will do it" (1 Thes 5:24). He will never forsake/leave us.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Tim for reminding me that just as Mary gave birth to Jesus - while depending on God - so can we reflect the light of Jesus in our humility and faith (that He provides).
Hi Betty, I’m not sure if you read these comments or if someone else from the ministry does, but I want you to know that your husband Mike is still impacting people for Christ to this day. My dad sent me a playlist of his abiding in Christ videos and i listened to all 30 videos and was so blessed and encouraged by his teaching. I also sent the playlist to a friend of mine who was severely depressed and I had no idea he was suffering so terribly. He said upon listening to the first episode he was in tears and that it was an incredible message to him in his situation at the time. Thank you for keeping his memory alive, I wish I could have met him :) God bless you and your family.
Great job 👏 and thank you!
You guys are the best - yes I've seen sheep do that
Amen.He delights in caring for us everyday.
God IS love - more than He loves us. He has always extracted me from all the barbed wire fences I sometimes deliberately ran into. He picks us up, brushes us off and says: "I will always love you." He loved us first (1 Jn 4:19).
Thank you for the message.God's love in me helps to forgive myself and those who hurt me.
Thank you, Raimundo. Whenever I am tempted to be unforgiving to myself, I am reminded that God does not love me more if I do all the right things and less if I fall short. God is agape - He just cannot love less (1 Cor 13). Who am I to try to contradict God when he says I am totally forgiven for all times?
Thank you Steve for that. What a great analogy God gave you concerning the Holy Spirit with the floating seed.
Thank you
That was so uplifting and helpful! May God bless you.
Thank you.Jesus is the head of my family and He never allows a murderer to harm anyone in the home.Womderful explanation and positive words.I am encouraged by your words.God bless you Sister.
WHAT TO SAY is thanks for your very encouraging and uplifting message. We all go through winters of life when nothing outwardly positive seems to be happening. Jesus has said: "Never will I leave you." I believe Him. "He who began the good work in you will see it through to completion."
Thank you for this message! 🤍
Thank you for always listening! We appreciate you!
God is LOVE (1 Jn 4:8). And love "Keeps no record of wrongs" (1 Cor 13:5). "Therefore, there is no more condemnation for those who have accepted Jesus" (Rom 8:10). He took away not only our sins, but the sins of the whole world [including those who don't know Him] (1 Jn 2:2). God conquers by love - not judgment. Now we all can rest in our loving Savior's arms.
Amen, Nizam!
That was beautiful! My God doesn’t cast stones instead He cast my sin away as far as the east is from the west.
Amen, Mirtha!
Thank you both for shedding light on this passage! Thank you Noah for your sincerity!! Your teaching on this "thousand times preached story" is simply heartwarming. The only one who COULD "trow stones" and destroy sinners came to give us, sinners, LIFE instead. My God doesn't throw stones, no matter what! Awesome!
AMEN! Thank you for the comment!
G'day Noah and Shay. I've always wondered if Jesus was writing all their (our) dirty laundry in the sand. Thanks for the message and Lots of love to you guys.
Thank you for listening and for the encouragement!

Hery Noah & Shay love your openness and transparencey love the teaching keep it up
Thank you for the encouragement! We appreciate it!
Beautiful ❤ So, I’ve always wanted to hear from your perspective the story about bending those apple (?) branches?? And the ways you’ve seen how true it is??
Such an encouraging message! Look forward to these videos every week. The Basic Seminar videos where such a help to me when I first started walking with Christ it is so nice to have these videos every week. I am also dyslexic and relate to Noah on the struggle to read.
We regularly watch the Basic Seminar, it's always good to go back to! I feel like we always learn something new each time. We are happy these weekly messages are encouraging you! Since Noah is dyslexic we try to have as many resources on audio as possible, so we hope that serves you, too! We hope you realize just how special it is to be dyslexic and how God uses that gift to go straight to Him!
Good stuff!! Thank you again.
Thank you for listening!
Just now I remembered you and I am thankful to God that now I see you and hear you
Thank you for watching!
Thk you for this Ladies. It's really encouraging that God knows my future and God has prepared me for my widowed life. I trust him indeed...my steps are ordered by Him...and yes...I realize I have to remain in God's word now...which before...it was all about my hubby and what I needed to do for him....but now it's all about God...time spent with God and doing His will....my hubby is gone 3 years now..God has been my life totally for 3 years...what has awesome God we serve..his with me every step of the way..I'm 61 and my life now is listening to Him and doing what He would have me do. Thank Jesus for my company and my compass Amen❤❤
Such a great reminder to give the control to God. I relate so much to the planing every outcome a great reminder that He has the best plan! Love these weekly messages
Thank you for being such a faithful listener Rachel! You are in good company with planning every outcome. :) Once we give over control, though, we experience such freedom! -Shay
Tim, I don't know if I understand correctly what you said - please advise. 1) If I disregard God's way of love, I am unrighteous. 2) If I do things on my own strength - good or bad - I am being self-righteousness. 3) If I rest in Christ - abide in Him - remain at the zero line and let Him work through me, that's what the Christian life is all about.
Yes indeed, it is sooo true that God does not allow the wisdom of man to understand ANYTHING about Him! If this were possible, man would soon feel equal to God and with the capacity to analyze Him. Jesus is God's wisdom made available to us. He said that if one has seen Him he has seen the Father, that is, in the proportion that our limited capacity can manage. Thank you Steve for your "thought experiment," a great illustration!
Oh, the wisdom of God! Such wisdom that He chose us, He loved us first, He gave His life to us, He saved us by His grace - not ours. And He will complete His good work that He started in us. Thanks for this inspiring message, Steve.
Thanks Raimundo for this urgently important message. It certainly helps me to prioritize what I sometimes forget - to abide - to keep my spiritual eyes focused on Jesus. The examples you quoted really underline and define how to differentiate between what might seem urgent but can wait. What the Lord says and does - those thing are important.
Thank you Nizam! Your comments are always sooo encouraging!! Love to you and Annie!
I rejoice seeing Mike .
Hi Noah and Shay Thanks for your message all the way to Tasmania! Kevin
Thank you for tuning in, Kevin!
I also love that "honesty and vulnerability" in you Noah, and also in Shay! I loved it when Shay defined your relationship with God sometime back, Noah, as "uncomplicated." I want to keep mine so... and be freed -- literally -- from the goal of being perfect in ministry by being fully aware of the truth that "God loves me for who I am right now." I know I must have said things like that to many people along my life in ministry, but today God is telling ME to believe it for myself. Thank you!!
AMEN!!! Don't you love when God reveals something right to our hearts? It's so simple to tell others, but so special once we are able to chew on the message as well! Thank you for the encouragement. Praying for you and your simple relationship with Him!
Always love your honesty and vulnerability Noah. I think this encourages all of us. Your relationship with the Lord has been an example to me. It is so true that the enemy hates your relationship and all of ours and will work to undermine that.
Thank you for your encouragement, always. We appreciate you guys
Thanks guys!
You're so welcome! Thank you for listening!
Noah, when you guys were little, I thought about this often. I worried that your god concept would be that a father loves you but isn’t there, he puts time and effort into people all over the world but abandons you. I loved seeing Mike on his travels but I always got a such a sad tightening in my chest that he wasn’t with you guys. I’m so thrilled but not at all surprised to see you in such an amazing marriage, gaining your very own revelations of God. I think ‘keeping it simple’ with God is sometimes hard but it’s helpful to remember that we are His kids, not an equal to Him - I let my kids get away with all sorts, beam with pride over them, encourage them and try to get the bad stuff to work out good for them -and we have a Father that does that and so much more ❤
Thank you so much for this message. There were definitely hard moments with my dad traveling as often as he did. There were even times when my concept of God was an absent God. Even just a few years ago, as our concept of God changes! But, I also know that my dad was called to travel and spread the abiding message. Thankfully God has called me to do the same, but with a different platform so I can be present with my family AND spread the abiding message. I appreciate you thinking of me as a kid, that means a lot!
This is so great to revisit
We hope it encourages you to keep seeking Him!
I will give an excerpt from a book that I am reading that I think encapsulates what I heard you say, Noah: "Don’t get caught in the mindset that we need to get busy for God. That is a false belief. We need to learn to diligently seek God, and learn how to trust Him and take the Lord at His word. Mature in intimacy with God, and let Him worry about the works. God can keep the universe in motion without us until we are in a spiritual condition to enter His works." ["Predestined for Good Works" by Eddie Snipes]
That's a great excerpt! Sounds like me and that author have the same God! :) Isn't it so fun how He loves all of us so deeply and loves when we just seek Him?! So fun. Thanks Nizam!
Thank you! I see I'm not the only one with a wrong concept of God. That's encouraging for me to seek who God really is.
You are definitely not alone! Praying for you as you seek who He really is and just how much He loves you!
@@AbidingLifeMinistries Thank you!
Thanks, Nancy. What an encouraging message of hope and trust in Jesus' promises, rather than looking to ourselves.
Jesus touches our hearts in any and all languages. Only He can comfort us to the point where we are totally satisfied. Then we are empowered to comfort others. Thanks for sharing, Daniel.
Such a sweet encouragement.
Thank you
Thank you for pointing out that Biblical HOPE is not what the world hopelessly describes as "wishful thinking" (though they may not admit it). HOPE is on par with FAITH and LOVE (1 Cor 13:13). HOPE is absolute confidence that because Jesus abides in us, our future is secure. After all, no one can snatch us out of His hands. Very encouraging words.
I want to submit a few words about Mirtha, whom I happen to know personally. Anyone who gets to know her, just loves and admires her knowledge of the Word of God! She is one of the kindest and funniest sisters-in-Christ, I have met in the body of Christ! I ask all who read this text
Mirtha is truly a beautiful woman of GOD. Every year, she and her husband go to Quatemala to feed the poor and take the Gospel! They ask for no help financially but love to feed souls with the Holy Word of GOD. They also help the poor !
Thanks Terry. Even when I have not listened to Jesus' clear voice of revelation, He has always been compassionate to me. He never gives up on us. No one can snatch us out of His, or our Father's, hands. He is the One who started the good work in us and He will see it through to completion. How many rabbit trails we go down depends on us. Eventually we get it, because as you said, He indwells us.
Thanks and Amen, Nizam!
