Thank you for explaining the interface! The manual is a bit vague, however out of the box the setup was quite simple. Very useful video.

Excellent video, and superb review. You also outline the serious design flaws of the unit. It is unfortunate that South African commercial products take such chances with fire risks, like the thin wires in the construction phase.

Excellent review and very informative. Hope to see more inverter reviews in future. Noise levels are something I'm wary of in particular

Excellent Video very informative, Is there anything you can do about the fan noise?
could it be the type of fan that is used?

Hey Ecologicaltime, fantastic video review and I ended up buying this same Lalela product and want to do the same upgrades you did. However I have 1 question, can I purchase another lalela battery and add it to my invertor? I understand the invertor will only put out 600Watts but is there a way I can increase the capacity and if so how many batteries can you add to this device? I would really like for this device to run 500watts for around 5+ hours and for that I need more power storage.

Hi thanks for the video. Question: my readings are changing all the time, it's jumping from small values like 60W to huge values like 5000w and back again. The inverter is running perfectly, do you perhaps know how to change it to be like yours where it shows one value all the time?

Hi! Awesome video, I really appreciate that you examined the output so closely! Quick question regarding the fan noise - subjective, I know, but how loud is it? Similar to a UPS fan?

Great video, thank you! Question: which DC circuit breaker did you use? Was it 50A/250 V? I plan to buy the same system and modify it like you did. Thanks in advance 👍

lekker video man. Just wanted to know if you buy a bunch of lithium batteries and a inverter to equate to an output of 1kva be cheaper then whats on the market.

i would not put more than one lithium battery connected to a load unless there is a battery management system in place. This is the mistake cheaper power supplies (UPS) make and the batteries degrade rapidly. There are some videos on this exact problem on my channel: ua-cam.com/video/XU5S004KXVM/v-deo.html

When my unit arrived it was completely discharged, invertor wouldnt even turn on ( was loadshedding when i got it to the house) after loadshedding was done i plugged it it, had a fault ( cause of low battery) took about 6 hours to charge. At what voltage do the 12volt Lithiums ran at from a prolonged time, i know the 48/52volt shottos like to run at 49volt for a long time with a load, do the 12volts also have a "preferred range" sorry for the lack of terminology just trying to figure out if the battery got damaged in the process.

so I bought a 1200WH one, mainly for my PC and monitor. Should I keep my pc plugged into it. Or only when power goes out

Is it possible for the invertor to charge while its off but plugged in ?
Because i have an invertor and while its plugged with load the fan doesn't stop running

Hi thanks for another awesome video....i learn alot from your channel as i know nothing about electrical stuff. I just bought my Lalela inverter and according the manual you should be able to see your battery percentage on the screen (back of booklet screen images) but i can't seem to figure out how to view it as the "manual" doesn't give instructions. Do you perhaps know how to access battery info on screen. Thanx in advance!!!

I bought one of these today and I'm wondering the same thing. I was hoping the video would show me how, but he didn't...
Did you maybe figure out how to do this yet?

Out of curiosity, why did it need the bigger thicker wires, and what does that mean for the pre-installed ones.
