Ik las ergens dat jij er best lange afstanden mee draait, Dat deed ik zoals je weet ook, er zit toch over een halve ton op de Oranje. 1 van de redenen voor mij was, ik zat er zo goed in. Zoveel ruimte is zo een kleine wagen, en het stoelkussen was lang uitgevallen. Plus, het maakte geen kabaal van binnen, een vriendelijk gebrom vanuit de achterbank. Such sweet memories. Bas.

Deze 120 LS heeft ook een betere geluidsisolatie in vergelijk met de 105 en 120 l. Ook op dit punt wint de 130 weer. Morgen ga ik met deze auto naar een autoshow in België en vanavond gaat hij mee naar Amsterdam. Škoda’s vinden het heerlijk om lange afstanden te rijden. Dat kunnen ze goed. Motor draait onvermoeibaar rond. Ik weet dat jij ook veel ermee reed. Mijn groene 105 s staat nu op 300.000 + kilometer. Still going strong 💪🏻
3 ton op de Groene, dat is heel imponerend. Vanaf Vancouver heen en weer naar Fort Frnaces Ontario, is 6000 Kilometer. Dat was altijd een dag of 3 a 4 rijden, en nooit bang geweest om pech te krijgen. Met de BMW ging ik zelden verder dan Whistler of Hope. Zelden de provincy uit, vanwege de BC wegenwacht. Nadat ik de vloot heb weggedaan in 2010, rij ik nog steeds in de CX en de Corolla. Daar zitten inmiddels 183000 km op.

Bahadir Cihangir thanks for your comment! When I was on holiday in Turkey a few years ago I saw an (abandoned) red 120 l at the side of the road. Also saw a few Favorit pickups. The Skoda’s become rare these days in Holland. You should have more luck in Germany. Mobile dot de.

Yes, a lot off werein past days. During socializam era, Skoda is one of cars that ex Yougoslavi was importedthem from Chekoslovakia. Manyof them in last 25 years endedup in the trash. Todayi this car is very rare.I enough old to rember Skoda 1000 MB, really nice car., I haven’t see them for many,many years. My S 100 was skow car, but with soul. It was my student car, but I had a lot of problem with carburator and distrubor( nighmare); still I have some parts for them in my basemnt, such a chrom hubcaps, some parts from body, seals and some lparts. for the engine S 120. Skoda 100 had the same engine like S 100. It is very strange, that you are so intrest in classic Skoda car in Holland. Skoda today is very powerfull car maker, but design is so borring. I stiil rember Chezch people who were arrivedin ex Yougoslavia with Skoda like yours for their hollidays. S 120 was produce in more 2000 000 exapmles, as they said in musem. I have isited Skoda musem in 2014 in Mlada Boleslav.
Too bad almost all the old cars went to the junkyard. But that’s how it goes... old skoda’s are becoming more and more popular, I like that! I have a 1100 MB from 1969. Remember the car from my childhood too. Too bad your s 100 wasn’t a reliable car. I don’t have much problems with my Škoda’s. We don’t have many old Škoda’s in Holland. But people start liking them more and more. In the old days people didn’t like them. Nice you’ve been to the Škoda museum. I was there too.
@@MrSkoda105s wow Skoda 100 MB is very nice car. Very rear and expensive in nowdays. It is very hard to find one in good shape here in Croatia. I am thinking to buy one in Chech Republik, but they are very expensive, specialy from 1965-66 model withthe big side grills on the tail. Parts are still aveilable and not expensive. When I visited museum in MB , I have spoke with guy, who said me , that is better to find kne Skoda 1000 MB somewere in countryside around Chezch, but for me it is so dificulty job, mybe in that case I need a month.
You can see my 1100 MB on my channel. It’s model ‘69 almost the last. Serie 20. I like all MB’s from the first model with the special air vents to the modern ones with the new front and new rear window. Prices are going up. Maybe you’ll be able to find one in the Czech Republic or in Slovakia. Cheaper ones probably need a lot of work though...
