i just ordered the Mini 5 for 200$. I only need it for light reading and for aviation. No games, no camera, no pencil needed. The Mini 6 is far better but it would be too nice for what i need it to be
Hi! I need an ipad for aviaton too, let me know if it works good for you, I'm actually looking for this or the ipad 9th generation. And what about the memory is 64gb enough? Thank you
@@raffaelemusic4666 if it’s just or mostly for aviation 64 is more then enough. I’ve been using my iPad 10 in my lap and it’s worked great. I’ve used the mini on the yoke and less than thrilled so but I’ve used full size iPads on the yoke and got used to it. My iPhone suctioned to the side has been the most ideal VFR and IFR so far.
…And a lot more expensive too. Good choice of the mini5. Even if Apple decides that its time is done and it gets stuck on iPadOS 17, is still worth for another two or three years.
hi. I'm considering buying this for drawing, image editing, & watching streaming services like UA-cam, Hulu, etc. do you think the ipad mini5 will manage? thank you.
Ive had an ipad mini 5 since 2021 and boy i still love it its so portable, great to game with and just so easy to hold in ur hands. Unfortunately i broke its screen like 1 or 2 years ago with a NAILCUTTER yes u didnt misread.i was fiddling with a nail cutter while watching naruto and forgot i had the nail cutter in my hand so i twosted my fingers and the nail cutter hit right next to the home button😂(dw the tablet still works and isnt that badly damaged)
I love my Mini 5th Gen for all the reasons you’ve outlined in this video and also because of the design; I like the thinner rounded edges as compared to the new iPads which are bulkier . It is more comfortable to hold and it balances better when reading in bed😅Small detail but makes a big difference for me. I dread the day which I know is not far on the horizon when it will no longer be supported…
Thinking of getting one of these to tide me over to the ipad mini 8. Can get one used for 180, then trade in for nearly 100 hopefully in a year or two.
I have it but it's good the way it is bc it's too expensive on release but bc it can updated for years on end that halfway on its supposed life expectancy it's affordable and still fast enough that it topples most midranger android tablets that are affordable on their debut
How well hardware and software harmonize with Apple, again, after 5 years, is a dream for every user. Nevertheless, Android is fantastic in my eyes, no question, but no manufacturer really manages to bring their tablets into harmony with Android, not really anyway ... not even the 1000 dollar tablets from Samsung or whoever. Something always catches the eye ... Apple simply has the bigger balls. haha
Really wish android had more 8 inch tablets like this. All we got are crappy ones with outdated specs
There's probably companies like Xiaomi and Huawei making them
Legion y700 is a great small tablet with high end specs
Galaxy tab active 5 is pretty decent but expensive
you might like to check alldocube iplay mini 50 pro or iplay mini 60 pro
Sure youve seen Galaxy Tab ultra
It just got the IOS18 upgrade as well. Still current and running smooth. I’ve had it since 2020, awesome quality and value.
I still have it, after 6 years, it is still fast and decent battery. I have that 256gb storage
What abt LTE connection? Stability?

Great tablet, had mine for 5 years, just upgraded to the 11” iPad Air M2. Wanted a bigger laminated display.
