Bronn is my favorite character in the series, he's such a smart ass, but he's hilarious and loyal - and a damn good sell-sword. I hope we see more of him in the upcoming season.
VictusPrime He's such a great character, isn't he?! Jerome does a brilliant job bringing him to life. Looking forward to seeing what he gets up to next month!
Robert the Bruce He was loyal, but I think Tyrion and Bronn knew that Bronn was probably not going to win against The Mountain. I don't think Tyrion would have actually wanted Bronn to sacrifice himself for a small chance at victory. Bronn is tough, but probably not in the same tier as The Mountain and Oberyn Martell.
Marc I think there's a difference between blind loyalty and loyalty. Blind loyalty is Ned Stark, and loyalty is Bronn. Remember his quip at the end of the goodbye scene.
I have to say these are my favourite Game of Throne interviews, intelligent questions and the actors are allowed to reply without interruption. Thanks for doing a great job. x
1806louise Ah, thanks so much, Louise, and you're very welcome. So glad to hear you enjoy them - appreciate your kind words. I'm sure you've seen it already, but just in case, here's the playlist with all my GoT interviews and more: ua-cam.com/play/PLD789F78F99814C3C.html Err, it's getting a bit long now! ;-)
Ohmygosh his expression when he said “and look what happened to the guy who did take on the Mountain” priceless. It’s sweet that he has a “Thrones Night” at home and that’s why he doesn’t look ahead in the scripts for parts he’s not in.
Who knows. They changed a bunch of stuff already, so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary. I don't think it'll happen, but it would make sense and I'd be cool with it. Plus, Kit said Bronn was his favorite character and that he's a fan of Jerome, so it'd be awesome for the actors as well as their characters. But Bronn don't take orders 'less he's gettin' paid. And I hope that - if they decide to focus on that (Lollys) part of his story - they spice it up or something.
Grimbanks Me too. It was leaked awhile back the there was a casting call for the part of Lollys. No information as of yet (as far as I can tell) if this was true. I saw a red carpet interview (think it was here) where Jerome said he had given up on acting was literally headed back to the farm when he not only got the part in GOT but Ripper Street as well. The gods be truly good
guess it would be to simple to make him join the night watch. it probably would be much more interesting if his "new" life would be influenced by some kind of bad destiny which makes him searching for tyrion by the help of jaime to get his revenge ... maybe ^^
Characters like Bronn of Blackwater are always the cherry on top of the pie. You simply need them. And this guy playing Bronn does a damn good job. Hats off.
Oh I love this interviewer. Decides to show natural intelligence and savvy without trying to be 'in' it too much. Makes for a much better interview, and we hear from the actors! Well done! :)
met him in an airport once, he was such a fantastic guy just going about his business and no one really noticed him cause he had a different hair colour. I walked up to him and had a lovely conversation with him, he's such a chilled down to earth guy.
If you're American and haven't seen him before...Google "Up on the roof" By Robson and Jerome, to see what he used to get up to. Or "Paddy Garvey" if you want to see him with no wrinkles and short blonde hair.
mellowb1rd I love watching the old Robson and Jerome videos -- they just look like they were having so much fun. I especially appreciate the fact that they don't take themselves too seriously. I would also strongly advise anyone wanting to see Jerome Flynn's true range as an actor to check out his performance as Bennet Drake in the excellent Ripper Street. He is nothing short of awesome in this role; kind of like the anti-Bronn -- still a badass, but without the cheekiness.
How amazing it is for the actor also be a true fan, he dont read the scrip to not be spoiled, that is great! I liked Bronn even if he is not in my top 10, but after this I kind of get it why so many people adore him.
The show is slated to go for at LEAST eight seasons (probably just eight) from what I have heard, which would indicate we've got another four years counting this upcoming season this year to go.
Don't know why but really liked the person who did the interview and questions that were asked. Found it a lot more pleasant to watch unlike some other interviews.
WELL, MAN! ..I don't even know if you have anything to do with the famous ERROL Flynn ... but you created on of the most MEMORABLE characters in TV-history! I mean - "SER" ...Bronn... "OF THE BLACKWATER" (XD :D) - was one of those guys that you NEVER forget! :) :) HEY PEOPLE!! Do you think he could 've beaten the "Hound" in combat? ...as far as I remember (I'm not sure) - there was actually a moment when the two almost came to blows (please! - correct me if I'm wrong!) ... ;) :)
Edit Name Thanks - glad you enjoyed my interview! If you're a GOT fan, I've got a ton more interviews with the cast in our Game Of Thrones playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLD789F78F99814C3C.html
Bronn and the Hound are my two favourite fighters in the show, and without them (and Tyrion), the show would be all tragedy without fun. I'm glad they're here to create that balance.
"2 or 3 seasons left max"? Fuck that, they have enough material for at least 10 seasons. I don't want a rushed and crappy ending for the sole purpose of finishing poetically after 7 seasons as Dan and Dave have said.
Search 'RobsonandJeromeVEVO' on UA-cam. They also had two number 1 albums and 3 number 1 singles in the 90's. Simon Cowell managed them. "Unchained Melody" was number 1 for several weeks. He was in Soldier Soldier with Robson Green.
In terms of the books you are absolutely correct, in terms of the show: Barristan Selmy got killed in an alley by a group of militia with knives Duncan the tall is a passing mention by joffrey Jaime was great but his skill was severed with his hand Robert Baratheon is only seen as a drunken, fat wretch (although is the best fighter in the books IMO)
Ironic how you're saying that Brienne has such thick plot armor, her of all people, but you don't say anything about the plot armor of a person who literally died and then straight up got resurrected, fought in the battle of the bastards against all odds and remained unscathed.
Yes, they are Jan, Its Game of Thrones Day today, Season 4 on the telly until season 5 premiere at 9pm, tea about 7pm, kecks round me ankles at about 8.55pm :D
Would be nice to see him sticking up for NHS vaccine mandated nurses and Doctors now after he so widely thanked them when they chose to put themselves in the front line. And to stop vaccines against young kids to truly “put kids first”. Good guy tho.
Felt like they did this man a disservice in John Wick 3 - not sure what they were doing with his accent in that movie but it was really hard to watch how different he sounds from where I'd first been introduced to him.
Wrong direction. He should be heading north to the Wall. If not him, then either Anguy, Blackfish or Podrick... just ONE of them would satisfy me. I mean, it would make sense for Blackfish and Podrick, as one's an outlaw and the other won't have anywhere to go if Brienne dies (Something's going to be different as there isn't Stoneheart). Anguy should go there if the Brotherhood falls (which might happen, again, without Stoneheart). Besides, it makes sense for him to go to the Wall, since Melisandre's there, and Anguy's a follower of the Lord of Light. It'd be cool if he took Thoros with him (but I doubt Beric would go).
I personally hope they do finish it at season 7 if that's all the material they have to keep the excellent pacing going. I would hate to see this brilliant series lower it's standards just for the sake of having more seasons. No better to finish it when it needs to finish as then it will be a classic forever. Fucking love HBO...
Deimos Wolfe Here's one we did with Iwan (before the show revealed his identity) ua-cam.com/video/KbZhz7bZiQ0/v-deo.html Around the 6.50 mark of this other interview we did with Iwan (about a movie he was in), he talks about GOT ua-cam.com/video/qfGTNmgJ9Q8/v-deo.html And in case you're interested, here's one we did with Alfie Allen talking about his character and filming those scenes with Iwan ua-cam.com/video/DkadZz3siIU/v-deo.html
Bronn is awesome with a sword. Great actor, great guy.. a shame he got the awful Dorne story in S5, which, unless the show messes up horrendously in the future, will be remembered as the worst blunder of the otherwise great GoT.
Never knew how to take the sellsword : he works for the feared Lannisters, yet you believe that for the right price, he'd turn on them. He comes across as a dumb jock at times, but you know it takes cunning for him to survive. This interview with Jerome Flynn has helped me get a better take on Brown. The actor has done a marvelous job of bringing the character to the screen.
totally made up when i seen jerome in the first season and the 1st episode he was in.. loved robson and jerome.. i always fancied jerome. welcome back baby lol xxxx
Looking forward to seeing what he gets up to next month!
he's loyal? wat m8
Well, he's loyal to whoever pays him the most gold.
Robert the Bruce He was loyal, but I think Tyrion and Bronn knew that Bronn was probably not going to win against The Mountain. I don't think Tyrion would have actually wanted Bronn to sacrifice himself for a small chance at victory. Bronn is tough, but probably not in the same tier as The Mountain and Oberyn Martell.

honestly if Bronn dies I'll cry
Bet you loved the final 😇
he survives through all through the finale , no worries.
Everything about Jermone screams badass.
Hahah haven't you heard his music? Robson and jerome
I have and they are awesome and have beautiful voices!!!
He fucked Lena Headey and broke up with her and now they don't stand each other
Bronn to the very core, then =P
MMG 006 furthermore, he has a breakdown at the mere sight of her. Very badass
I have to say these are my favourite Game of Throne interviews, intelligent questions and the actors are allowed to reply without interruption. Thanks for doing a great job. x

i vote Bronn for most-likely last man standing ALIVE by the end of this god damned amazing series
He is lol good guess
First 4 seasons were the best ever, 5 was amazing.6 was good with amazing parts. 7 and 8 were a fckin mess
Brilliant actor!! Liked him from the beginning....!
Ohmygosh his expression when he said “and look what happened to the guy who did take on the Mountain” priceless. It’s sweet that he has a “Thrones Night” at home and that’s why he doesn’t look ahead in the scripts for parts he’s not in.
Who is more likebul than Jerome, Bronn, I cant think of any, one night!
Bronn needs to join the Night's Watch. Now that Pyp and Grenn are dead, the Wall's lackin' bros.
I thought Bronn was getting ready for his upcoming nuptials to Lollys Stokeworth. Umm I wonder it will be a dull affair?
Who knows. They changed a bunch of stuff already, so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary. I don't think it'll happen, but it would make sense and I'd be cool with it. Wren Wrenwood
That's pretty awesome. The show wouldn't be the same without the man.
guess it would be to simple to make him join the night watch. it probably would be much more interesting if his "new" life would be influenced by some kind of bad destiny which makes him searching for tyrion by the help of jaime to get his revenge ... maybe ^^
Such a nice and genuine fellow!
Jerome Flynn is awesome as Bronn.
love this guy so darn much
Characters like Bronn of Blackwater are always the cherry on top of the pie. You simply need them. And this guy playing Bronn does a damn good job. Hats off.

1:26 His eyebrows go from fully raised, to normal position in the space of one frame of video. That's not humanly possible.
met him in an airport once, he was such a fantastic guy just going about his business and no one really noticed him cause he had a different hair colour. I walked up to him and had a lovely conversation with him, he's such a chilled down to earth guy.

Props to Jerome for turning what was a pretty boring character into one of the best minor characters of the series.
But he was never boring tho
How amazing it is for the actor also be a true fan, he dont read the scrip to not be spoiled, that is great! I liked Bronn even if he is not in my top 10, but after this I kind of get it why so many people adore him.
hard to see finally an entertainment interviewer has done her homework and asked non-stupid quesitons
only got a year or two left! WHAT???!!!! NooooOooo! it must go on foreverrrrrrr.
The show is slated to go for at LEAST eight seasons (probably just eight) from what I have heard, which would indicate we've got another four years counting this upcoming season this year to go.
2 years have passed
He's so hot, I wish I could kiss him
Don't know why but really liked the person who did the interview and questions that were asked. Found it a lot more pleasant to watch unlike some other interviews.

I really like these interviews with the GoT cast, way better than the stupid talk show garbage.
ikr
I agree. The talk shows are awful. I enjoy these types of interviews.
props to the interviewer
Edit Name Thanks - glad you enjoyed my interview! If you're a GOT fan, I've got a ton more interviews with the cast in our Game Of Thrones playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLD789F78F99814C3C.html
Yeah this lady is an excellent interviewer imho.
max rav Yeah she really is. I have seen most of the interviews: relevant questions and knows the books/show. Very good interviewer.
max rav Many thanks! :-)
Dag Roon Aw, thank you! :-)
Bronn and the Hound are my two favourite fighters in the show, and without them (and Tyrion), the show would be all tragedy without fun. I'm glad they're here to create that balance.
what the fuck is a lommy?
Bronn is the best character of the show
My favorite character in the show..
you think they're fookin?😝😂
"2 or 3 seasons left max"? Fuck that, they have enough material for at least 10 seasons. I don't want a rushed and crappy ending for the sole purpose of finishing poetically after 7 seasons as Dan and Dave have said.
Whoa! He is so much like his character, i mean he is so real Bronn!
I think Bron would own the mountain.
If you like him in "Game of Thrones" then you should see him in "Ripper Street". A great actor.
He has an amazing singing voice. I would like to hear him sing more traditional music, pre 20th century.
Search 'RobsonandJeromeVEVO' on UA-cam. They also had two number 1 albums and 3 number 1 singles in the 90's. Simon Cowell managed them. "Unchained Melody" was number 1 for several weeks. He was in Soldier Soldier with Robson Green.
he's tasted the dornishman's wife
One of my favorite characters. I hope he makes it to the end
I consider him and Brienne the greatest warriors on the show
dude .... Barristan Selmy? Ser Duncan the tall? Jaime Lannister? Robert Baratheon?
In terms of the books you are absolutely correct, in terms of the show:
Barristan Selmy got killed in an alley by a group of militia with knives
Duncan the tall is a passing mention by joffrey
Jaime was great but his skill was severed with his hand
Robert Baratheon is only seen as a drunken, fat wretch (although is the best fighter in the books IMO)
Also fuck Brienne and her plot armour so thick she could behead the nights king at hardhome
the hound?
Ironic how you're saying that Brienne has such thick plot armor, her of all people, but you don't say anything about the plot armor of a person who literally died and then straight up got resurrected, fought in the battle of the bastards against all odds and remained unscathed.
He is my favorite character.
I don't think Bronn will die before the end, he has top-notch survival skills
if he woulda fought the mountain, i d have freaked the fucke out
Bronn is prolly my absolute favorite character ,because he portrays everything I want to be .... Charming, dangerous, flexible and funny.
He's a Southern Englishman, he does a northern england accent damn well as Bronn..
All these great new interviews right b4 season 5, just what the Maester ordered !
Richard James haha, glad they're keeping you entertained before the season premiere tonight, Richard! :-)
Yes, they are Jan, Its Game of Thrones Day today, Season 4 on the telly until season 5 premiere at 9pm, tea about 7pm, kecks round me ankles at about 8.55pm :D
Richard James haha, you sound like a man with a plan! ;-)
Favorite character!
Awesome character in the series. Don't fucking die :)
Would be nice to see him sticking up for NHS vaccine mandated nurses and Doctors now after he so widely thanked them when they chose to put themselves in the front line. And to stop vaccines against young kids to truly “put kids first”. Good guy tho.
I like how his English accent is subtly different then in the show.
A great actor, singer and man with a big heart
Un formidable acteur, chanteur et homme au grand coeur
YOU BETTER BELIEVE, YOU LOOK LICIOUS WITH FACIAL HAIR .
Felt like they did this man a disservice in John Wick 3 - not sure what they were doing with his accent in that movie but it was really hard to watch how different he sounds from where I'd first been introduced to him.
It is exceedingly bizarre not to hear Jerome speaking in a Lancashire accent.
Do not worry Bronn will traveled with Jaime to Dorn
i heard Bronn is actually fighting Tyene, and he looses (but don't die)
who is Tyene and why he fighting
t0mylife Tyene is one of the Oberyn Martell's daughters
Wrong direction. He should be heading north to the Wall. If not him, then either Anguy, Blackfish or Podrick... just ONE of them would satisfy me. top lad
Who wouldent snuggel up to that sexy nose and have a yoga with him åhhh
Loved him and Robson since soldier soldier.
one of the most badass character in the series
He plays a good part, very decent and does a great norther accent too
Bronn is a beast the best character
o yea bronn (Jerome flynn), or Jamie (nikolaj) good next bonds: funny, action, more like Daniel Craig 2.0 or 2.5 ish
Nikolaj however, perfect fit for Tommy from tlou1and2. NO ONE Else can play Tommy except Nikolaj, maybe Joel kinnaman from (hanna and suicide squad)
I personally hope they do finish it at season 7 if that's all the material they have to keep the excellent pacing going.
I would hate to see this brilliant series lower it's standards just for the sake of having more seasons.
No better to finish it when it needs to finish as then it will be a classic forever.
Fucking love HBO...
why is it so hard to find intervies with Iwan and Michael. I need myself some Bolton interviews!
Deimos Wolfe Here's one we did with Iwan (before the show revealed his identity) ua-cam.com/video/KbZhz7bZiQ0/v-deo.html
Around the 6.50 mark of this other interview we did with Iwan (about a movie he was in), he talks about GOT ua-cam.com/video/qfGTNmgJ9Q8/v-deo.html
And in case you're interested, here's one we did with Alfie Allen talking about his character and filming those scenes with Iwan ua-cam.com/video/DkadZz3siIU/v-deo.html
***** Thank you! But I would still appreciate some more of them :3
Deimos Wolfe haha, so would we! ;-)
I love THE BRON
IT'S A QUIET THING!
He and Tom Felton looks similar
Bronn is awesome with a sword. Great actor, great guy.. a shame he got the awful Dorne story in S5, which, unless the show messes up horrendously in the future, will be remembered as the worst blunder of the otherwise great GoT.
+0FFICERPROBLEM Yeah, it was a mistake to drop the Arianne/Arys Oakheart storyline. The Quentyn Martell storyline I could care less if they drop.
Oh my sweet summer child, if only that would have been the worst part.
Frankly, I don't think Bronn would even consider fighting the Mountain for someone else than Tyrion.
Jajajajajajaja 🤣🤣🤣 its soo funny watching this interview after all the memes 😂😂
totally made up when i seen jerome in the first season and the 1st episode he was in.. loved robson and jerome.. i always fancied jerome. welcome back baby lol xxxx
Thank you thank you Jan for your superb spot-on, witty, respectful interviews. I am a follower and I learn a lot
Hahaha who would have imagined that Bronn would be the boss in HightGarden 5 years later. I bet not even him.
check out my game of thrones vid "game of thrones best lines". Best in the city.
Sandor, Bron and the Onion Knight for office I say. Certainley get things sorted then!
Brilliant actor - perfect timing and double act with Dinklage has been sorely missing in the most recent season.
He and Christopher Eccleston should play on-screen brothers.
We love u Bron bro
Bronn for the iron throne make Westoros great again. Atleast give the man his fookin' castle and a nice highborn lassie.
Bronn is like the deadpool of game of thrones
The dodge he did when he saved Jaime Lannister oo man what a scene 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏
Why is Bronn of the Blackwater acting like this
I do like Bronn! Favorite secondary character in the show

Season 4 was hands down the best season to date
Fookin commercials
Very well done interview

Damn these are actually good questions, rare to see nowadays.
