I've watched all of your videos ahead of Crimson Vow releasing on Arena, I couldn't possibly have more information about the cards and archetypes...yet somehow I will still conspire to go 0-3 in my first draft

Considering they've recycled cards from mid in this set, I kinda doubt the creative legs of Mtg at this point.
The issue with UG about both exiling from graveyard and getting benefits for having graveyard cards is a pretty common problem I think, I remember it was a big issue with Golgari in Guilds. I do agree that sometimes it makes for interesting decisions but other times if there isn't enough self mill it just makes the colour pair much less playable since the payoffs cannibalize each other.
Poor BG. Sounds like it just got the short end or the stick on Innistrad. Otherwise, I'm actually much more intrigued by the potential of the Double Feature product next year. If it cuts out the chaff, it could make for a high-powered draft experience like MM1. That was the most fun I'd ever had in draft.
Blue green having some internal mechanical competition is something I appreciate, it used to be more common but now design tends to aim for a snowball of synergy in place of clever decision making.

I think red white does have a fun keyword soup theme going on. Not sure how great that is, but we’ll see how it pushes damage through as the format goes.

The irony is RG werewolves was the deck I won with one of my drafts.
2 players passed Tovolar, which I am equally happy to take and equally baffled why they passed such an awesome card.

It's definitely a very good or horrible type if situation since you really needed a handful of high quality cards or it just didn't work

Yeah, it might've got even more shafted than in MID.
I think it's probably why you need to be smart with deckbuilding if you go down that route by not relying too much on high toughness stuff.

Sheltering boughs is a card for GB…. But yeah. I don’t know why the color pair is so painfully undersupported.

Was good Old Rustein is so powerful that BG had to be kinda crummy again? Seems like all other colors have stuff to them, but BG is like, clunky and gimmicky.

As someone who has Boros as its favourite color pair I'm kinda sad that, with few exceptions, is a combination that's doing poorly for a really long time now, both in Limited and Constructed :/
In the DnD set the WR Equipment was one of the top picks

@@NizzahonMagic yeah considering there's less uncommon fixing than the last time we had a mardu tri color archetype.
BG seems to get overlooked so often these days. ZNR and MID it was underwhelming, Shessra was the worst signpost in AFR and even in STX Witherbloom was a let down. At least KHM elves got there.
So reading sinner's judgement...I get the feeling that card is going to show up on ban lists soon

Seven mana for something that wins in 3 turns is probably not broken in constructed. Since it’s the creature side in hands and graveyards, you can’t really cheat it into play as the enchantment. You just get the creature. I think that means it’s fine, but maybe I’ll be surprised.
@@NizzahonMagic it's an alternative win condition. Considering how many of the other alternative win conditions have been broken, I feel like where there's a will to break something, there's a way, especially if a blue/white prison deck shows up. Or could be put into already existing prison decks in formats with more cards.
@@samuelrussell5760 I wasn't thinking just constructed, I'm thinking of the formats with extra turns, proliferation, and prison decks.
Is an alternative win condition, so I'd be more surprised if it got 0 top 8s in anything before the year is out.
@@aaronbasham6554 There's a big gap between "it will probably make some top 8s" and "it's going to be banned soon." I think it can find a home in some control decks since it can defend you early and later be a win condition. But there are probably better win conditions for control decks. The main reason that I don't think it will be broken and banned is that I don't think there is a way to get around paying seven mana to get it into play as the enchantment. That will be a huge limitation. If it works out that you can cheat the enchantment into play, I could see it getting banned.
