WCML Freight @ Heamies Farm 14/03/14

Friday 14 March 2014. A few hours at Heamies Farm on the WCML just a few miles north of Stafford. It was very misty when I arrived so I haven't included all of the morning footage, but luckily the sun did a good job & it ended up a nice day. A decent mix of traction and workings today including 57306 on a modal out of Seaforth, a nice bit of thrash from 37682, and a Black 5 to finish.

Excellent video, great location, really enjoyed. Nice of that DRS to open up when passing and good to see a bit of steam at the end. Top drawer!

Very good video despite the foggy start to the day. For me, the highlights of the video are the 37628 and the 44871 passing. Thanks for sharing.

Steve that was a long day for you but great filming and very enjoyable viewing, I also saw that 57306 4G01 the day before at Cosford . Will try this location one day myself but must carry on watching your video now. Mike.

A yellow 57 on freight? Have DRS bought them from NR, or is it on loan? Decent load for the 37, nice to see. You might almost think he opened up when he saw you.

57306 is on loan to GBRf and has been working out of Seaforth Docks. Big thanks to the driver of 37682, my favourite capture of the day!!
