Yeah man me too. I’m still living with my ex so I find myself “relapsing” on my progress but instead of getting frustrated and giving up. I just come here or I listen to another influencer/star/personality that I look up to in order to remind myself that I’m not happy where I am. Tbh tho repeating the phrase “Nothing changes if nothing changes” 1000 times has been the biggest motivator I’ve ever experienced.
I’m 26 years old and I’m afraid to be just working a 9-5 job for the rest of my life. I still stay with mom, lost my car, broke, no nothing. It’s sad because I know life could be worse but all I just ask God is to show me what career am I meant to be doing? I want to be happy and feel fulfilled in a profession. 9-5 jobs(not knocking anyone who does it and actually I salute them) but they have always left me empty and that’s how I know I’m meant to be doing something else just don’t know what. Patience is something I struggle with and I know I have to do better but man it’s hard to not self reflect and see all your friends with cars, apartments or homes, girlfriends, and careers they enjoy and meanwhile I’m not progressing. This hurts me a lot man. I just felt the need to vent but I love y’all man and I hope that you all find yall calling in life and also thank you Shimon for this video. I needed a pick me up
Hey man I’m 19 in college and in flight school working on my instrument rating. This is my third semester working on it and I got my pilots license back Highschool took me 2 and a half years. There’s a phrase as old as time but to get some thing you never had you have todo shit you never did. I’m struggling to find purpose even with a great career ahead of me if I keep training and follow through. My point being you’re gonna have to suck it up for a few years. For me college and flight training expenses, away from home (1000 miles away) no time with family or close friends. Don’t have anyone here besides my GF and I living in our apartment trying to make adult life work. Nothings easy. I’m grateful for where I am and you should be too. You might have to work that crummy job to learn why you don’t like the 9-5 instead of thinking it’s awful. You might have to work that job to get somewhere else. I always had the dream of being a fire fighter and did my training when I was 16 in NYS. I could still do that and make descent money but I know I’d regret not following through with this flight training. I know there’s a lot here but point being. Keep going, Gods plan for Everyone is different and the comparison of yourself to others steals joy so don’t do it. Take a risk (a smart one) and make that decision to move out and try to find a job or work somewhere else. There’s plenty of opportunities for those who are willing to dig deep to get it. My only question for you is how bad do you want it? I believe everyone can do it. Takes me a bit sometimes to realize I’m in a great spot even when I think I’ve lost my purpose or track. You can do it your right where you need to be.

Before I take in the message of this video I just want to say that, yeah, I'm unhappy with how my life is going, I don't have confidence, I don't have the confidence to do certain things, talk to certain people I want to talk to, and when I get some alone time I usually loathe myself for not having the balls to do it. It's a vicious cycle. I know life is not easy and these things usually take time to overcome but slowly but surely I'm working on that flaw of mine. I encourage others with this same problem or similar problems of their own to atleast start the process of becoming a better version of you. Bless.
