Nice overview of the current activities of VOA Greenville. Shortwave has become a medium of last resort, but to many countries it is still an important lifeline, especially during conflict. I have enormous respect for the engineers who keep technology that's 60 years old on the air, every day. It is good that UNC has documented this.

I live about 8 miles from VOA Site B. Go by there every Sunday going to and from church. Have always wanted to tour this place. Thanks for posting this video.

Excellent video. I hope others can appreciate the importance of shortwave radio as a medium that easily punches through firewalls that totalitarian regimes throw up. Sometimes the newest technologies are not always the best. The internet, for example, can easily be traced by those in power, thus people fear seeking information via this route. Shortwave radio on the other hand? Untraceable.
