Wow 21:48 My IONIQ5N👏👏It was amazing that the Elantran TCR edition was released at the Karmit event. I was impressed with the swan neck spoiler that was applied in mass production for the first time in Hyundai. I enjoyed the performance parts that the owners wanted. I'm subscribing. 👍👍👍
Just buy the brakes spoiler wheels and tune it and its the same thing all those parts are sold as N performance parts i only need the spoiler and thats it but I would never put that big thing on my N car to each his own
As mentioned in the video, a simple GT wing install on the current EN might cause some issues at high speed. The trunk on the TCR Edition is reinforced underneath.
something big here is actually seeing some simulation flowstrams of the TCR style wing. the regulation TCR wing has always confused the heck out of me with the airfoil pointed right at the sky, I'm going to be staring at that flow stream for awhile lol. different approach from all other GT wings right now including the adro AT-R1 swan neck; it looks like the TCR wing is there for pure lift control whereas the others might make direct downforce.
Another big difference behind this TCR Edition isn't just the CFD, but Hyundai N actually test them in real world, they break things and rebuild things until the simulation and reality match up, unlike those aftermarket third party parts claiming their parts to be all proven showing fancy CAD and CFDs.
Available in Korea first taking orders in December. TCR Edition will also be available in Australia, confirmed by Hyundai N. Rest of the market - including North America - is being discussed. Fingers crossed 🤞Oh, manual also available btw😉
It needs to have a similar body kit like on the actual Elantra race car! Wing looks pretty goofy in my opinion with the normal Elantra N body. It's similar to what Subaru did with the BRZ tS back in 2020.

@@CarSceneKorea I dont think the rules would allow a straight pipe because of noise yeah I know that sounds crazy even with Nascar they still have to run a muffler doubt they run a cat sort of looks like a resonater.
ChatGPT told me: The Hyundai Elantra N TCR is a race car designed for touring car championships, and its 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) time is not typically specified because the focus is on track performance rather than straight-line acceleration. However, based on its lightweight construction, aerodynamic enhancements, and the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (producing around 350 hp for TCR competition), it's estimated to achieve 0-60 mph in roughly 4 seconds or less, depending on the setup and conditions. For precise numbers, specific testing data from Hyundai Motorsport or a racing context would be required.

@@afrikengunner You do have a very valid point, a bit more power wouldn't hurt! I've said the same in the video, but this huge downforce + brake performance alone would make this TCR Edition feel like a completely different car (on a track)!
