Given the distances that we drive in Australia, I would have thought a deisel version would have been offered. Looks like I and a lot of other Kia / Hyundai fans will be looking at other car brands to be able to stay with a deisel powered vehicle.

My best regards to your lovely wife and you both are the best, from Australia 🦘, I'm between Hyundai Tucson MY25 hybrid and this Kia Sportage? Which one you recommend?
Thanks for the quick answer! Can't wait for your test drive video. And for test drive it myself! By the way: you speak a PERFECT English! Congratulations!
Well not it has head-up display which for example Qashqai has from a long time, but also it comes with a new price easily reaching 50k euro here, while same car in Korea costs 25k euro and is long wheelbase, so no ty.
What’s the difference between latest Tucson and Hyundai. They all have same interior features except the exterior looks. Hard to decide which one to get purely based on performance/practicality.
I have the 23 Hybrid. I'm ok with the front end. Rear looks good. Interior changes look nice. Like the new material that's replacing the gloss black. New features are good. Do not like the new wheels. Think the current wheel designs are much better. Will say a few of the AI created refreshes that were all over the internet where better (my opinion).
I don't like the look of the instrument cluster with the left and right brackets and the digital readout. Hopefully they have the digital speedometer and tachometer in the higher trim X-Pro levels like they offer in the other KIA lines. Looking forward to seeing your driving review videos.
Slowly warming up to the front look. Also with the Hyundai Santa Fe, seeing a lot on the road, very nice. Ioniq 6 also the front is pretty okay after so long. However the ioniq 6 proportion is so odd, like a giant old porsche. Wish they focus on the rear for facelift.
This is just now out in Korea. Typically when they release there at this time , it's usually between March and June that we see them here. Then, it may be a 25.5 or a 26 model year.
@@CarSceneKorea Given the distances that we drive in Australia, I would have thought a deisel version would have been offered. Looks like I and a lot of other Kia / Hyundai fans will be looking at other car brands to be able to stay with a deisel powered vehicle.
I really dislike the new steering wheel. The old 3 spoke one was much nicer. Hope there is an option to order the olde wheel still. Apart from that it's a very nice car. Is there a possibility to disable this eye-movement sensor. At least in the video it looks like there are always two blinking lights, this seems to me very distracting, but maybe it is not so bad irl?
Improved on the inside, worst on the outside which is the case of almost every Korean car facelift. I think k8 (k9 ?) was the only exception and simply looks stunning.
I already liked the pre-facelift but this one looks even better! I have a CX5 myself but I'll have to convince my grandma to upgrade her 2013 Sportage to this brand new one lol
Great review, thanks. This model will hit the USA market at 2nd quarter of 2025 and will be called Sportage 2026 (I will wait). Especially I liked info about colors because I almost bought 2025 Sportage HEV EX model but I did not get it - reason? - colors !! (KIA are you listening?). 2025 hybrid model has only one color I like - silver (Steel Gray) but this is available only on LX. I want EX but this one has only 5 exterior colors: white and 4 "blacks"* (I hate all). I hope they change it on 2026. * I know, one is vesta blue, but it is dark blue and if there is no sunshine it looks "black". Also interior colors are either black (I hate) or beige - it is not beige it is almost "white". Who wants white interior? Why not gray or light brown?
I kinda feel like a sucker buying the supposedly "2025 Kia Sportage" here in the UAE. I did ask the dealer and was informed this was a new face lift and lo and behold, next year new face 😂. Big part is my fault for not researching. But it's very weird how the interior we have here is nothing like what I see online for similar models.
It sure is a privilege to be living in the mother country of these manufacturers, but everyone else except Korea gets these latest cars at least 6 months later, if that comforts you😭
@@CarSceneKorea yea a little longer honeymoon period would be nice 😂. Interior wise I can admit the one we have in the Middle East "seems" better (aside from no option to opt for a Gear instead of Knob). I have not seen the same interior in any US video or anywhere else when looking at videos for some reason. The center console with he gear knob looks different for example my cupholder is horizontal not vertical like in these videos. Just curious. You think Kia does specific changes based on a country's requirements or something like that?
@@mohamedmoursy2838 it is called the Sportage L supposedly longer wheel base. It has a super nice interior which is different than the ones in videos from other regions. I hope they remove this Ac/Audio control. For how long I got used to it, I always have the urge to spin a bit then check if that is my audio or AC while not looking. My parents is also old and we have a sportage 1.6 turbo as family car and I always have to change the knob to AC after I finish driving or not my mom might not be able to change the AC. i noticed on the new sportage the turn signals are now led , cool!
I’d like to see them get rid of the panel that does both climate and the infotainment and replace it with separate controls.
Finally rear wiper arm hiden. It looks so good behind, I think it's only on KIA
I will wait for Dacia Bigster
Black colour is really good looking is perfectly between the body of the car
Agreed! 💯
Can you still see the lines in the front windshield from the defrost heating lines?
Will check on the test drive.
Do you have any idea if there will be available delivery for this car soon in the KSA or middle east even if being made by KIA Chinese factory ?
Or estimated time ?
And is it available in the Korean market now ?!
If you've been getting this car where you are before, most likely it will arrive where you are. Kia is taking preorders now in Korea.
I want to know. Starting from this year, will all the copies that arrive in the Middle East be from the Chinese factory or not?
Hello,
Thank you for the high quality video.
Did Kia add the head up display on this facelift ?
yes, they did
Yes, I did include it briefly on the screen, but missed it on the English review🥲
