I have been running this working overseas for the past 4yrs and it’s held up to all kinds of use. They aren’t cheap but they are worth it. Ronin designs a badass battle belt.
Excellent choice, I have a Ronin and a blue alpha gear belt both belts being about equal i love both of them. Looking at your choice of pouches may I recommend you look at blue force gear for your dump pouch and possibly your med pouch as well worn at the 12 0clock. Very streamlined and will save you much real-estate and allow you to sit more comfortable with your belt.
I definitely want to get one of their IFAK pouches since they are a little nicer than my issued one and I actually upgraded my dump pouch to a tactical tailor dump pouch. I have to wear my medpouch/IFAK on my left side of my plate carrier per army regulation.
I have not personally used the blue alpha gear belt. From what I can tell it looks like a good belt, but it doesn't look like it's as rigid as the Ronin belt. Blue alpha gear makes some great products I'm sure their belt won't disappoint.
I try to visit a chiropractor pretty regularly. Wearing body armor and carrying ruck sacks around a lot will mess your back up if you don't take care of it.
Hi! My name is Chris! I´m thinking of buying a Ronin Shuto belt. My waist size is 33.5"(i.e size Small 30"-34")so that´s quite close to the 34"-39" limit (i.e size Medium). What size do you recommend according to your experience? Best regards Chris
Well I have a 29" waist and I have an extra 5" I can extend the belt. I actually got my belt from a friend because he had 33" waist but he ended up gaining a little weight and had to go up to a medium. I would say just order a medium and if it's too big just send it back.
Just get a police duty belt for 50 bucks comes standard with the velcro if you get a nylon belt do you really need molle in a 2 in belt just get some belt keepers... is this belt awesome yes but is it worth 180 bucks for running 4 or 5 things on it no unless someone else is paying for it
Unless they make police belts in multicam or FDE those of us in the military wouldn't be able to wear them. Also a leather/nylon police belt would never hold up to mud, water, snow, extreme heat and just all around rough use. Ronin belts are definitely worth the money.
They are pretty good with sizing, I have a small belt and I have a 30" waist. I would recommend a medium for you since you will have a couple extra rows of molle.
The MRB 2.0 isn't a bad belt, but it does have some shortcomings compared to the Ronin. The MRB uses a velcro liner belt like the Ronin, but it lacks the structure that the Ronin offers. The MRB is a strong belt, but you can't use it as a riggers belt. If you want a traditional war belt the MRB is definitely the best one out there. I personally don't like the traditional war belt design and that's why I went with the Ronin.
Train Like You Fight Thanks for the info man. I’m just getting into gear and learning what I can. The ronin senshi seems to be my 1st choice. Also looking for a CC belt. I saw Garand thumbs video on the emissary belt.
@@mikescavo214 the Crye JPC and the first spear strandhogg are probably the two most popular carriers out there right now. Eagle industries also makes some good stuff.
Unfortunately not, they were just nice enough to let me come to a couple of their training sessions when I was waiting to PCS from Ft. Benning. I also signed up to shoot at the U.S. Army small arms championship when I was there, which is hosted by AMU.
@@texicano_fxdls3411 they definitely are the best of the best. It was a pleasure to get to work with them for the short amount of time that I did, they are a very friendly group that is always eager to teach people.

Great video brother thanks for sharing and thank you for your service.
Thanks for the view and the review 😉

I wish the slack folded to the inside instead of the outside. You lose a lot of molle space at the 1 to 2 o'clock position.
I’m sizes 34 in pants what sizes would be the belt ?
How's the sizing? I'm a 32 and don't know if I should get xs or s
Thanks for the video. Do you know if the 2" inner belt will fit into the belt loops of your jeans?
It's doable, but it's tight.
@@TrainLikeYouFight Ok thank you!
plopnow,- Please....take measurement tape and measure size of your jeans loops!!!
@@cardesavas Most jeans are 1.5 or 1.75" that's why I asked because the inner belt is 2" wide.
I don’t know if you said it in the video, but What size waist are you and what size did you get?
I'm 29" and I got a small. I have about 5" of extra length in the belt.
How does it hold up to Alpha blue gear belt?
I have not personally used the blue alpha gear belt. From what I can tell it looks like a good belt, but it doesn't look like it's as rigid as the Ronin belt. Blue alpha gear makes some great products I'm sure their belt won't disappoint.
Has anyone went do chiropractor visits after wearing all this kind of weight all day at a work day?
I try to visit a chiropractor pretty regularly. Wearing body armor and carrying ruck sacks around a lot will mess your back up if you don't take care of it.
Where did you get the karambit?
I believe blade HQ, but it looks like Ontario may have discontinued this knife. I did find one on eBay up for auction.

Hey man nice video well done and very informative. Do you have any experience with the crye precision mrb 2.0?

Probably not since the buckle is a solid 1/2" piece of steel.
