Great tip, it makes such a difference relaxing the hand! And thanks for the recommendation for the tiger balm, I'm getting some to try out. Love your shorts, btw, they look really cool! 👍
I loved the analogy of the paint brush. I’m going to try that. And I do feel tense in the body when practicing because I’m so focused on getting it right. When you said “breathing” I was like oh my goodness I knew I was not breathing but I didn’t connect it to my playing. I seriously appreciate the fact about activating the PS in the nervous system because it made sense to me. I’ve been feeling tenser lately so I’m definitely going to take the time to do some breathwork which always helps me manage and resolve things through the nervous system
@@theviolincoach I’m lifting the knuckles above the finger board and it’s made a drastic improvement. My fingers are moving freely and I have more range! My fingers are moving down instead of sideways. Thanks so much for this tip!!!!!
Keep your chin up! Remember it's not about your finger length but about your hand flexibility and suppleness. Light grip, relaxed fingers, imagine you've got a fine tipped paintbrush in your hands

Thanks! Good advice.
Would you make a video about the left hand? Mine is a bit slow.

There's no way in a million years I can get my bow hold to look like yours. With short stubby fingers, there's no daylight anywhere in my grip. 🙂
