  • This is what a typical day of service looks like in the brewery.
    I prep cans, do the social media's and pour beers for the people.

    Here's to 50 years for Tanglefoot killing it in the same place. If it hurts, don't do it. If it feels good, do it until it hurts. Cheers.

    That's a stellar looking Tmave...you need to put your location in the info box. Be patient...word will spread and they will come. You need to find a way to use that kitchen so Dads can have a beer and feed the kids and wives - it'll make your traffic go up. Cheers!

    Man you inspire me so much, my dream is to have a place like this, I know you said you didn’t want to become a food venue but believe me many people can drink more if they have some small meaty place as they would feel less drunk. Admiration brother

    Hi, greetings from the East Coast of Canada! If you're doing mash decocted Czech lager in the tiny setting that you are in, you should really be proud of yourself. Hopefully some day I can make it to Texas and sit in your bar and try a pint. Na Zdraví!

    • @tanglefootbrewing
      @tanglefootbrewing  Рік тому +2

      I am not doing a full, traditional decoction schedule. I perform a small, modified decoction for flavor/body/caramelization but no stepping of the mash. Na Zdraví!

    Love the idea of being specialized in czech lagers. I hear most breweries in Germany are like that with few beers to choose from. I think you’re the first I’ve seen in the US. If I make it to Texas I’ll have to check you out. Cheers from NC

    Just to add to Gnome’s comment: I am not a you tubers but I am a home brewer. I have zero interest in scaling what I do to just selll bottles or cans but I want to size up so I can share what I create with others. I live in Dublin, a city filled to the top with great pubs. I would love to offer the city a small, intimate bar that serves unique, well balanced brews but would worry that traditional pubs will win out. What challenges have you seen with long standing formats of bars and how do you think what you are doing will offer something of value. By the way, the honesty of the reality of running a small operation is truly inspiring. Thank you.

      U cud probably be a niche spot for us introverts lol. I avoid large pubs at all cost but i have found great really small tasting rooms/"start up" pubs wer only like max 20 people fit.

      Thank you for the kind words! I will be covering a lot of the challenges in future videos/Podcast episodes but I have built this business specifically to focus on one thing and trying to do it very well. My goal is to delight customers with a product or service that exceeds their expectations, repeat for years, see how it goes 🍻

  • @Chris-Costa-Rica
    @Chris-Costa-Rica Рік тому +1

    Would love to do this in Costa Rica and have been considering it for a year or so now. I've got one or two recipes that tend to always go quick with the locals that drink my beer and I'm now seeing people request to buy those or have me supply beer for local events.
    You set up is awesome man! Wondering what your plan is in the long run and if you see the brewery making enough revenue for you to consider it as your primary income.
    And advice welcome!

      @@clubroot3383 they don't waste that much beer once you are rolling. It's usually when there is warmer beer in the tap when it hasn't been poured for a bit that you'll see more spillage.

    How do you clean those Lukr faucets? And, how often?

    • @tanglefootbrewing
      @tanglefootbrewing  11 місяців тому +1

      The tips come off very easily and are cleaned daily. The rest of the body is cleaned when line cleaned but not super frequently.

      @knacrr 11 місяців тому

    • @tanglefootbrewing
      @tanglefootbrewing  11 місяців тому +1

      @knacrr rinse daily. PBW pretty frequently(once a week?). But nothing super special outside of that. I've not have much build up on the main body of the taps either so not a huge concern. If you notice any build up after a couple of months give em a scrub!
