- This sunset cake is an adaptation to one of my signature designs from my new book. It's a similar technique but applied slightly differently using multiple colours over 2 tiers. I love the addition of the clouds too! There's so much you can do with buttercream!!

Beautiful! What type of buttercream is it? It seems so smooth and easy to spread, mine is always so hard and bubbly! It’s so hard to smooth!

Thank you! I’ve kept them on for 2 days and they’ve been okay. Make sure everything in your fridge it wrapped and airtight 🙏🏼

How do u get cakes to rise soo much
Hi Georgia ! Another fantastic cake ! Can I ask if these are cakes people have ordered from you ? If not, what happens to them ? I am a hobby baker. I love to bake cakes but I don't have anyone to make them for, so most of it ends up in the bin 😞
Thank you! Yes occasionally people order but if you want to practise you can have one cake that you keep decorating and scraping off the first layer of buttercream back to the crumb coat. Keep it in your freezer - I’ve done this for UA-cam too!
