You realise it takes way longer to queue into matches without cross play since most players will still use crossplay regardless of the disadvantage
Tbh I can’t imagine it will at all because it probably will have no aim assist like R6 I think it should have none so definitely no crossplay in my opinion

unnecessary crossplay in the case of such a game, as it is more difficult to filter cheats if you have aim assist. Players who aim well don't need aim assist .. on console bf1 -bfv better players turn off ads aim assist.
I think the xbox one and ps4 players shpuld be able to download the game anyways, wouldn’t be a problem, in OW it feels slower but you can still play at a competitive level, so I dont think its fair to forget that community because Im sure for them its better to play worse than just not play…
the game comes to the new generation consoles with 120 fps, if it appears on the old generation consoles, they would be at a huge disadvantage. I don't understand why anyone would want to play such a game on a potato where life or death can depend on thousandths of seconds.
Maybe because u r not the center of the universe and many people cant afford to buy a new console, just why not release it like that in series x/s and lower the quality on the other consoles. Casual players really dont care and if they wanna play competitive they’ll see if they buy a new console. Be fair.

This makes no sense lol if you play slower on last Gen then current Gen you will literally be throwing games for current Gen players. Last Gen needs to be left behind otherwise games will continue to suffer.
Honestly i dont see a problem, they could just do it how Overwatch does it with console and pc pools and an option to play with both.
They should just make it so you can turn off or turn on crossplay. I’ll turn it on when playing with pc friends but turn it off when play by myself cos pc players been playing for way longer than
You can make valorant work on a controller.
But lets say that the console build of the game will be diffrent, in a sense that the hitboxes could be different. Maybe all you need to do is turn up the bullet magnetism and give controller players actual controls to tweak like: Deadzones, Acceleration curves and the like. And maybe that could work out.

I’m willing to try it, I tried keyboard and mouse recently and I just can’t stand it. I’ve been to used to controllers I just suck with KBM now, so I’m definitely gonna try the game again when it’s on Xbox

I think when it comes to aiming the game might work if there’s just a learning curve to it. Basically I don’t think it should have aim assist because they could probably tweak it so that it’s a learning experience, learning where to aim and maybe if recoil isn’t heavy on controller they also might stand a chance

They play worse, and thus ruin the competitive integrity. More importantly it really doesn't just harm themselves. TEAM GAME. Which means the people who are trying to climb get punished too. There's a reason Riot stopped supporting older Windows versions... I see no difference there
@@AangAirB They play worse and then promptly get placed in lower elo that matches their skill level, people play on bad pc’s but they still get placed accurately even if they have a disadvantage that goes towards that placement

I don't think contoler should get aim assist, I'm a Xbox player and coming from a game like r6s where all head shots are one shot and other similar aspects I think it wold be annoying to deal with

Hopefully they bring it to console. Honestly. Crossplay will be fine for casual game modes. And just keep that out of ranked. That’s how they do it for apex. The only difference is just don’t allow controller support on pc unless it has no aim assist. To protect the competitive integrity of valorant on pc. I’ll just be excited to play the game on console.

It does not need to include PC in crossplay nor should it R6S HAD TO FIX and they INCLUDE PC in the crossplay pool there's no way around on how or why PC should be included 🤔 so they can complain about aim assist even though they have years of experience amongst other things nah no

I love Valorant I quick recently cuz my laptop sucks and I have one laptop which can connect my mouse but the fps sucks just like my Mac the laptop side sucks so I switched to Fortnite on PlayStation if Val comes to console I’ll quit fort and platt this

Aim assist overrated asf you can get better i am champ in Rainbow six siege on roller and have no problems for flicking etc. It all comes down to the setting I use low ADS speed and high unADS speed (aka hybrid sens) also game freaks and the other things exist to help being better with a roller

Pc and console needs to remain separate. Console can only keep up with aim with mouse and keyboard with a lot of aim assist. If it remains separate then only a little aim assist would be needed to help with accuracy against other console players. Another reason is 99% of all cheating in games is on pc and this has always ruined console gaming when there is cross play. Last Gen needs to be left behind. When games are made for current Gen and last Gen the quality and what the game can do is always lessened and restricted to make it work and it holds games back. But in the end there will be cross play and aim assist and mouse and key hitching about it and then maybe aim assist will be nerfed then controller won’t be able to compete with mouse and key or aim assist will remain strong and pc players will switch to controller and any body on mouse and keyboard will get left behind everything will suck and I won’t play the game.

Majority of your worries can be solved by only allowing console players to play with other console players. Even Xbox vs PlayStation will be okay, but PC players only against PC players. Aim assist is going to be another controversial topic if MNK players get mixed with controller players. Look at what is happening in Apex Legends right now, lol. But I’m surprised you didn’t mention balancing worries. What characters and weapons that may be fine on PC, may be extremely strong or weak on consoles. I’d say balancing, nerfs, and buffs of weapons or characters should be limited and separate from console and PC. If something is balanced on PC, there should be no reason to change it because it doesn’t work well for console players.
Console players would want K&M support due to how the game is made and having them mixed with controllers severely conflicts with competitive integrity and you can’t separate them on console only lobbies since most people are on controller on consoles. Input based MM basically guarantees that your peripheral of choice isn’t going to prevent you from getting into a lobby without mixing the peripherals.
