I'm in the northern part of the state and so wish I had as much room to grow as many peas as you do. I'm curious as to what type of peas you grow. I grew some of my own for the first time in decades this year in a "backyard garden" and my peas had 3-4 foot feelers/vines that I had to stake. I didn't notice anything like that with yours. I like you remember shelling for hours with my grandparents and love those memories as well. Thanks for the video and tips to freeze/can peas. I was too young to remember how they did it.

Thanks for watching Brian! These are purple hull peas. ( bush style) Find you a bush style and there’s no need to stake em.
Frozen by blanching taste so much better than flash frozen.
Thanks for watching Mary!
