- I talked to Wayne and Tera before the Static-X show at Backstage Live in San Antonio, TX on July 21, 2012. Topics include Joshua Tree, being a vegetarian, new Static-X members, thoughts on venue security, the future of industrial metal, blaming crime on music, and what to look for from them in the future.

No offense but Tera was an albatross to Wayne and Static X period.
I'll always remember hearing about his passing, I had just seen cannibal corpse in London on Halloween. The greatest Halloween night ever, followed up with the sad news of Wayne's passing. So so fucking sad, and now I have just found out. That 3 years after his passing his beautiful wife took her own life, I had no idea that this happened. So fucking heartbreaking, I hope they found each other xxx R.I.P the both of you, I loved you both and miss you just as much xxx.
I honestly never heard that she had passed til a couple months ago when I was wondering what she was up to. (I was never the type to stalk the wives of band members so I had no idea.) Wayne passed away shortly after my dad did. I was so torn apart. Finding out about her suicide brought everything back. 💔

I've been binging evil Disco for a month now, I look forward to project regeneration, with some old Wayne vocals on there from what I understand. Rest in peace mr. Static

I just recently started listening to Static X after randomly finding them on youtube, and then I discovered the tragedy of Wayne passing and then Tera not too long afterwards. I've heard of Static X many years ago but for some reason never really checked them out until a few weeks ago.

Just saw Wayne Static again in San Antonio on 4/2414. Wayne can still put on a badass show! I enjoyed it.
Glad to hear he is resurrected in the 25th century. They know how to use that advanced technology.

They needed the Lord Jesus so bad. I saw them 16 times in the late 90's and early 2000. I was on self destruct in those days and the Lord saved me, I wish the same had happened for them too 😢

It did look like they really loved each other but she seemed like a really bad influence on him letting him indulge in his worse impulses. Had he not met her he would still be alive but much lonelier so it was probably worth it for him. And she died a year and a half after him so she really loved him too. It’s just tragic. Drugs kill, eventually. Let it be a lesson.
Is Tera also his manager? It's unusual for the wife to be so involved in all of the interviews. Regardless, they're a cute couple and it's great to see them together and so close to each other, up until Wayne's tragic passing. EDIT: Tera passed away too, in 2014. I had no idea. These two were so cute together. If only more couples were like them.
They either got along really well or it was really difficult having her around all the time I can't imagine lol no disrespect rest in peace God bless them but what I noticed was she was always onstage and there's some fans out there that don't like her because they say she introduced him and really bother to get him off the drugs

I saw and talked to them off and on for days before Wayne passed he was all happy about Being sober... like he was jazzed about the the renewed vigor he felt. in times past he seemed maybe apprehensive at believing he could truly live sober forever and have a good time at it. but those few weeks before his going "hele mai"my family and I Def finely saw him display almost excitement when he spoke of he and terras future as joyfully straightedge. the night he died she called me while the investigators were there they were treating her kindly not the way they would have if they thought they had been getting high. I had given them another turtle right around then and each in person encounter he was wide awake and stoked at being clean

Sounds a little fishy to me. Not that he wasn’t clean. How he died all of a sudden while he was doing so well. Neither death sits well with me. Very strange.

I love going back and seeing these older interviews. I miss Wayne Static and his wife in all honesty. They truly loved each other and not a doubt in my mind they're together still in heaven. Wayne Static and Tera Static's legacy will live forever.
