I have a stone just like the one you have on your video. Mine seem to have quite a few odds markings on it. I will try to upload some pictures.

Hi. I'm wondering if you still have the artifact because still have mine and it looks to be the other half. It looks almost exactly like yours. If you would like me to send a picture of it I can. Lmk. Thanks.

Hey. Are you sure thats not a fossil? I find fossils that have the similar center grove in them running down the center. Look up ancient Scale tree root petrified wood. I have probably 50 of these. I could be wrong. Also like some of your videos Very informative. Appreciate that

It's very interesting to see how different aboriginal community's made abraders.....And other tools.....All the abraders i have found can fit in the palm of your hand.....Great find!

I found a 1" long version of this tool clearly used for stripping/polishing yucca/sinew/rawhide, except it takes a wider material at the base and then finishes @ the perfect diameter for bow string. Would never have made the connection if I hadn't seen your video.

That's a piece of agatized wood with the core missing out of the middle. It would have been a more abrasive Stone if it was a shaft straightener. If that stone did anything it would just rub and Polish

From my readings I would have to agree. I have one and I had just read in a 3rd edition artifacts book what this was, and it said this would had been made out sandstone. It seems it would have to be very abrasive to do whats it suppose to do. But I am no expert either
