Not bragging but thanks in great part to Rusty's previous lessons and coaching......I was actually sounding very smooth the third time through! I actually like this method of producing new soloing lessons Rusty simply because now more than ever I really want to see your own interpretation of this jam! Now I want to interject your ideas with my own which definitely assists with my retention and confidence! Jim C.
Rock on JC! I really appreciate your feedback here. A simple groove like this can help us be creative. Always good to hear from you! Hopefully I will see you later this morning for the lesson. Thanks a lot Jim ✌️

Good one Rusty. It's got that 70s Kiss vibe. I can see Ace Frehley playing this one 👍👋💯🎸🎸. Or Deep purple with Ritchie Blackmore ✌️✌️
I used to play those riffs in the 70s so obviously it’s still in me!!! Thanks so much. Mike for checking out the track. Hope to see you later this morning for the lesson that goes with this backing track. Talk to you soon Mike.👍

Hey Greg, it definitely has that Bad Co. vibe!!! Thanks for the comment and hope to see you later this morning with the lesson that goes with this backing track. Later bro. 😎
Nice!
Thanks for checking out the track! Rock on ✌️
Nice backing track rysty, just got a question for u, in some of your videos u are playing on s black les paul with yellow outlines...o what a beauty..is it a classic, what year was it produced? Greetings from Fred in sweden🤔🤓
Greetings from Chicago, Fred! It’s a 1981 Gibson, Les Paul custom. All original except for the new stainless steel frets. It’s a rockin guitar. Thanks a lot for checking out the track.✌️
3 chord wonder, now just a little faster
Right on! Thanks for watching 👍
Rusty, Would you consider this a F or C mixolydian progression? I’m trying to get these Mixolydian scales figured out!
I see it as C mixolydian. So all three of these chords are in the key of F Major. So playing the F major scale starting on the fifth degree would be the C (c mixolydian) I like to mix the C minor Pentatonic scale with the triads to create the mixolydian sound. Did you check out the lesson that goes with this backing track?
