The 1st TMNT collab was just skims. AFTER they just added skins, they added Shredder and the mythics and they DID add TMNT Pizza 🍕 I think you need to do more research next time (no hate or anyone, I love your videos and I watch them all the time, but in this video specifically, I couldn't really understand WHAT makes a collab good and WHY you didn't like some of the collabs you mentioned) anyway GREAT video, but the script needs some improvement. Keep making great videos and improving them:)
I think making separate LTMs for these mythics can make these collabs better. I enjoy the Avatar mythics but wish there was a separate mode with just them so I don't have to fight people with guns and vice versa.

In my opinion it's not so much a problem of the collab Mythics not being fun but more so them being way too accessible. Much like anything when you make it way too accessible and constantly available It feels less significant when you find it. Let alone when people are constantly cracking you with it. It's also sort of the reason why people one week are already tired of the Avatar collab. Because of this accessibility, you can barely run around the map without somebody rolling up on you with air bending or getting your skin shaved by water bending. On the other hand, What made mythics in seasons prior feel special was knowning that there was only a select few on the map at any given point or that there was only ever one on the map at any point. This made it so that when you were the first one to retrieve that item or eliminate another player for it, the item felt way more special or important. Another small nitpick I have is that some of the collabs don't compliment or fit the tone of the season. I grew up with Avatar, and I love it. But I know that we're a lot better franchises they could've picked from to have fit the Greek esthetic of this season.
I just started playing recently casually with my wife as of TMNT. Not knowing much of the history or meta I felt the Turtle weapons were not the worst. Then every match started ending with them. And I felt it was boring. But damn would I take them compared to what we got with Avatar. Guns are worthless compared to bending. Holy moly can't wait for the 3rd to take them away. I like how they have mini battlepasses. It kind of changes up the game and I feel like they out in full effort. I didn't even buy the full avatar battlepass but I still completed it. I like minibattlepasses because it gives you missions to do. Otherwise it would just get boring. The next star wars update is about to come out and honestly I'm looking forward to it. Without there being quests, i can't really find reasons to keep playing. Even weekly seem useless because they arnt really that fun and they are usually so easy. I don't really have to concentrate on them.
The Transformers collab was perfect It was a Collab i was waiting for and they finally brought Optimus to the game And i even used the Cybertron Cannon Then when i saw they added Optimus Primal i so bought it But when i saw they were adding .Megatron .Bumblebee .BattleBus I obviously got it And before you even say anything. I have been a Transformers fan my whole life
Sorry maybe an unpopular opinion , but mowing down peter griffin , darth vader , optimus prime , etc.. as Bender rodriguez... is one of the reasons its my BR of choice. And it works for me because the game is wacky and cartoony and i dont take it seriously at all.

Even tho we get way to many collabs now they do make the game fun when people are getting bored of a season like with the dragon ball update or any or the mini passes with there unique mythic's/Ability's or the battle passes bringing fan favorite characters that can bring back old players who like that character or it can also bring in a lot of new players who are a fan of the franchise so to be honest its really up to if you love the franchise they bring or not tbh.

Also Lego has been a virus to battle royale in that it's taken valuable people and resources and turned them into lego skin creating machines. You can't look at anything BR without them trying to cram lego down your throat. While it may not directly affect gameplay it hurts the state of the game unless you are into it I guess. Just my 2 cents.
I think the TMNT collab and mini battle pass was great. The mythics were useable as a weapon and mobility with the double jump . More importantly, they were balanced. The current mythics in the game are not balanced is the issue. Waterbending and Airbending are way too good. Firebending and earthbending are nowhere close to as effecient. I can easily coast to endgame with Airbending, Waterbending, a gatekeeper shotgun, and 2 heal slots. I enjoy it but many people that don't want to run the mythics find them annoying and boring.

I’ve been saying that chapter 2 season 5 was when Fn starting slowly getting worse, at first the game was still good throughout 2021 but you could tell it was a slight step down from 2017-2020 but it wasn’t that big of a deal, then chapter 3 came and things got slowly worse and chapter 4 was the true downfall
The big issue I have with collabs is how they started off simple and as separate gamemodes, but started taking over the main game and affected the storyline and original ideas the game had going for it. The TMNT driftboard was fun though.

Combat shotgun is also John Wick, the original Thanos mode also replaced solos IIRC. The NFL replacement of all skins in Team Rumble was complete BS, it was a core mode at the time and most of what I played.
I think collabs have saved fortnite. Because the main story writer isn't there anymore. There will be mainly collaborations and just small story's in fortnite. I heard that they broke up alot if there resources to make lego fortnite and rocket racing.
