In SR2, homies would stay with you during mission checkpoints and when you save the game with them in your party. In SR3 they get dismissed instantly and most of them are inaccessible in may storylines. Homie AI also wasn't as dumb as they are in SR3.
The only hope now is the SR2 patch. I swear to god if they fuck that up. I haven't paid for a SR game since 4 I think. Never giving that company money again lol.

Flippy, Regarding the Electric Grenades in SR3, they do serve more of a purpose. If a car is active while being affected by a E-Grenade, It'll cause a EMP Effect, disabling the car. I find it useful for disabling police or military units pursuing me.

This is but a scratch in the surface of what Saints Row did. The NPC's were so funny and intelligent. I remember random pedestrians boxing with gang members and just shocking them with a taser. There was even a time, I walked into a robbery in progress. Also, there were times you could whoop on some streaker on the street. And why did they take out the feature where you can hit somebody with the butt of your weapons. They did give it to the enemy NPC, and that was it. I swear this game was awesome, much better than GTA 4 at the time.

Well Saints Row 3 and 4 looked way too shiny for real life and the lips moved like a cartoon. In Saints Row 2 the graphics I still think look good and the lips actually try to match up to what they are saying instead of just moving.

Hey Flippy, I watched this video and your other Saints Row videos; I never really realized how much was missing from SR3. But all the content that was cut- is that gone forever? Like with SW:KotOR II, so much was cut. But modders went in and restored, I dare say, most of it. And even if it's not there in the files, or Volition won't release it, can't someone create the features? I keep up with IdolNinja, and he and other modders have introduced so much into the game. It's always my dream for companies that released somewhat bare games with hidden potential (that we especially know exists from the previous two games) to come back to it and add those things in post-release. I know it happens sometimes, and even if it's some dollar-grabbing DLC, I'm hoping that maybe this is still possible. Do you have any idea on what happened to the cut content?
Flippy, I first joined the Saints Row community in Saints Row The Third. At first I didn't think I would like Saints Row 2 so I bought Saints Row 4. After I beat it I thought, "Fuck it," and bought Saints Row 2. I realized it was the best in the series and one of the best games I've ever played. Thanks for sharing the experience!
I played SR1,SR2,SR3,SR4 and for me is 4 really stupid confused game. 3 is better than 4 but it is still boring and story line is in this game stupid too. 2 and 1 were the best games what i ever played. There is great story line and when you complete the game you can still do some funny things in those games (sr2 and sr1). That's my opinion.

Really like this video. I am a huge fan of SR1 and especially SR2, that cliffhanger ending in 1 with the yacht and all that, so amazing. So I was really hyped when SR3 came out, bought it day one, played for maybe 3 hours and haven't touched it since. I didn't even glance at SR4 because everything I saw on it made me roll my eyes so hard. It used to be like playing a gangsta ass music video, now it's like a bad Scary Movie sequel or something. I was heart broken. And still am, cause with Gatt out of Hell.... I mean it just looks terrible.
Alright Flippy here's an idea I thought of after SR4. 1. Once they have the time machine, Matt and Kinzie work on it trying to get it to work since the first thing they had in mind was saving earth, meanwhile the other saints are helping people get out of the containers, although they won't open while the boss is getting more of an idea of the zin.2. The Time machine gets overloaded and sends the saints in different times. Luckily enough the boss finds the time machine in the same time as him after exploring (this could lead to deferent themes of clothing and humor!) After time they all meet up, they all get lost on what to do and notice Kinzie and Matt are going nuts after the fact they couldn't understand the time machine (more through out the story humor!) 3. There could be loyalty missions for examples being matt goes back to stop killbanes flight and ends him, Gat can save his love, etc..4. They find a way to stop earths tragedy by killing zinyak at the white house by the attack on earth. They use zinyaks ship to fight the other but the past one destroys the present one. But things go to a turn because soon the saints realize Johnny would die since they would destroy the ship so he sacrifices himself (leads to some drama ;) with a serious tone ) but things go to an even bigger turn leaving the saints defeated.5. They all refugee to the crib in SR3 and figure out a new plan. This plan is to get the time machine off of zinyaks past ship, they sneak on and steal the time machine and go back to the plane Johnny was abducted on and stops Zinyak there when he isn't ready. They kill him and save Johnny by jumping out sr3 style and force zinyak to crash into the ocean. With the crew and the time machine broke they all Finnish the gangs of still port with matt to spy for them and using there memory from stopping them before they do it quickly 6. No more aliens starts right off from sr3, there you go new goofy gangster gang.

Hey Flippy, I watched this video and your other Saints Row videos; I never really realized how much was missing from SR3. But all the content that was cut- is that gone forever? Like with SW:KotOR II, so much was cut. But modders went in and restored, I dare say, most of it. And even if it's not there in the files, or Volition won't release it, can't someone create the features? I keep up with IdolNinja, and he and other modders have introduced so much into the game. It's always my dream for companies that released somewhat bare games with hidden potential (that we especially know exists from the previous two games) to come back to it and add those things in post-release. I know it happens sometimes, and even if it's some dollar-grabbing DLC, I'm hoping that maybe this is still possible. Do you have any idea on what happened to the cut content?
Flippy, I first joined the Saints Row community in Saints Row The Third. At first I didn't think I would like Saints Row 2 so I bought Saints Row 4. After I beat it I thought, "Fuck it," and bought Saints Row 2. I realized it was the best in the series and one of the best games I've ever played. Thanks for sharing the experience!
I played SR1,SR2,SR3,SR4 and for me is 4 really stupid confused game.
3 is better than 4 but it is still boring and story line is in this game stupid too.
2 and 1 were the best games what i ever played. There is great story line and when you complete the game you can still do some funny things in those games (sr2 and sr1). That's my opinion.

I thought 3 was better than 4, but thats about it. Despite SR3 having a bland story, SR4 had a story that made no sense to me.

I actually started with sr3 and liked it. Then i played sr2. And i now understand why you want what you want and i completely agree.
Really like this video. I am a huge fan of SR1 and especially SR2, that cliffhanger ending in 1 with the yacht and all that, so amazing. So I was really hyped when SR3 came out, bought it day one, played for maybe 3 hours and haven't touched it since. I didn't even glance at SR4 because everything I saw on it made me roll my eyes so hard. It used to be like playing a gangsta ass music video, now it's like a bad Scary Movie sequel or something. I was heart broken. And still am, cause with Gatt out of Hell.... I mean it just looks terrible.

Alright Flippy here's an idea I thought of after SR4.
1. Once they have the time machine, Matt and Kinzie work on it trying to get it to work since the first thing they had in mind was saving earth, meanwhile the other saints are helping people get out of the containers, although they won't open while the boss is getting more of an idea of the zin.2. The Time machine gets overloaded and sends the saints in different times. Luckily enough the boss finds the time machine in the same time as him after exploring (this could lead to deferent themes of clothing and humor!) After time they all meet up, they all get lost on what to do and notice Kinzie and Matt are going nuts after the fact they couldn't understand the time machine (more through out the story humor!) 3. There could be loyalty missions for examples being matt goes back to stop killbanes flight and ends him, Gat can save his love, etc..4. They find a way to stop earths tragedy by killing zinyak at the white house by the attack on earth. They use zinyaks ship to fight the other but the past one destroys the present one. But things go to a turn because soon the saints realize Johnny would die since they would destroy the ship so he sacrifices himself (leads to some drama ;) with a serious tone ) but things go to an even bigger turn leaving the saints defeated.5. They all refugee to the crib in SR3 and figure out a new plan. This plan is to get the time machine off of zinyaks past ship, they sneak on and steal the time machine and go back to the plane Johnny was abducted on and stops Zinyak there when he isn't ready. They kill him and save Johnny by jumping out sr3 style and force zinyak to crash into the ocean. With the crew and the time machine broke they all Finnish the gangs of still port with matt to spy for them and using there memory from stopping them before they do it quickly 6. No more aliens starts right off from sr3, there you go new goofy gangster gang.
Lets face it. Saints Row 2 was the last "Saints Row" game. The rest is just some weird shit with the same name.
