Fun fact: This is canonically music that the Trickster composed himself. The sirens you hear in the chase music are heavily-edited versions of the screams of his victims.

Trickster has some of the most disturbing chase music in this game. It seems just like sirens for some reason in his chase music, but then you read his lore and learn that those siren sounds are actually screams of victims he's tortured and murdered.
It's a nice touch, but the main reason why out of all the killers in dbd I have read about, this guy's track is my one of my least favorites.
I like the chase music personally, it’s one of not many that are genuinely creepy.

@@rxntei4019 wesker's music is powerful, but it isn't scary to me, sounds more like a boss battle. trickster's has more of the creepy factor which is why I like it better.
@@cactisea Its fine if you like it more but I personally find it themes like Nemesis and Wesker's more intimidating because it sounds like you're vs unstopable forces that are hunting you down, while spooky themes like trickster's sound more like a killable monster on my tail to me which I dont find as scary.

Out of all the killers that are just straight up serial killers in their lore, Trickster feels like the most realistic and disturbing one, even if he isn’t that scary in game. Ghost Face realistically would not have been able to get away with just moving from town to town and killing people, the cops would eventually catch on to his appearance, Clown feels a little too evil right off the bat, Skull Merchant is just a boring sociopath that uses military-grade murder drones to hunt down CEOs she doesn’t like, but Trickster is set up as a fame-obsessed narcissist who views himself as superior to everyone else, and his lore excellently shows how that narcissism turns to sadism and an urge to hurt people
Honestly the scariest killer to go against in open maps, if he finds you its basically a death sentence
For hillbilly, open map is also his greatest strength
They gave him such unique, tight music... i bet Ji-Woon produced it himself!

This is the only chase theme to this day that genuinely makes me feel uncomfortable. Knowing what the song actually is just makes it so much more creepy and scary even if it's just a kpop guy. I think I also find him scary cause he's more realistic in a way then other killers.

Fun fact: the beginning portion of the music is actually similar to Huntress’ lullaby. It’s called Trickster’s Melody and in the files it’s even considered separate from his main chase theme.
It’s practically not a Lullaby… well yep it’s more like his Melody/ambience cus it’s certainly creepier than Huntress’ lullaby to me
If you listen to this alone, in a place where you know you can be seen from multiple directions, and listen to it loud enough so you cannot hear outside your headphones, *you’re fight or flight response WILL kick in.*

@@larrytheassdestroyer4149 i dunno if you saw Skemmo's videos where he makes unmasked Trapper or pre-plague Adiris or maskless Huntress. But its not so much the neon in Trickster. But his humanity. He is the only killer who can blend in with survivors if you take his weapon and wipe the blood. Its a horror of irl, that killers are us humans, and could be someone you dont suspect. In those other vids, seeing thise killers as humans, really makes you feel.

@@Muradilo22 крик начинается с погони (2:31), после чего он не заканчивается, вплоть до конца композиции. Отчётливо слышно то, что это крик, на таких таймкодах: 2:47, 3:12, 3:37
@@Muradilo22 в любом случае, это кажется скрипкой, но если прислушаться, это ну уж чрезвычайно похоже на очень сильно затюненные крики.
@@Muradilo22 и если что, то это принципиально должно быть не похоже на крики, ибо Трикстер скрывал свои деяния и, как описывается в лоре, в некоторые песни, в качестве дополнительного "инструмента" добавлял крики своих жертв, но делал это так, чтобы никто не понял того, что это крики.
И ещё, если судить по лору, то там описывается то, что после развала группы, он записал песню, которая напугала Юнчин своей "стремотой" и которую она же сказала не выпускать(Я к тому, что судя по описанию в лоре, музыка погони трикстера - тот самый невышедший трек)

Thats the point because if he doesn’t look scary something has to be scary so i guess they chose his music and terror radius
I want them to have a anime or short film of the trickster getting off stage, meeting a fan and having them go back and he tries to make it seems like its a fun "game" till he starts cutting, showing him after editing the music and you can hear the real screams slowly turn into "sirens"

His terror radius is great but something about the chase music itself just doesn't sit well with me unfortunately. Probably just from the screams overwhelming the rest of the music but eh, its still alright. His Close radius is def my favorite though as it really does feel he's right on top of you and about to see you if you're not well hidden.

@@TrollsterTV lore from most characters is pretty strong though. Ive read all killers lore and some of the survivors. I think the only lore i dislike is doctors (and Skull merchant ofc but she suffers from lazy writing), like there are killers like legion, trickster, clown who make great villains. then there is hag, twins, spirit who you feel really bad for them. And then there is that super crazy mf doctor, who is just the worst. I actually hate him, though i still play him from time to time XD his add ons fit too, with impossible skill check builds and surveillance build, he IS the tormenter for survivors. Like he tormented these poor students x-x

Ik this sounds wrong but… I def look up to trickster and yun-Jin. They’d do anything to get their “fame” and keep their status. Trickster is smart and “tricky” so he can’t get caught. Yun-Jin is resilient and selfish. Being selfish isn’t always a bad thing, since you are taking care of #1 and u get your stuff done. So ig it’s bad towards others but good towards yourself
