Shawty was sitting right on my front porch with this one. Similar to my story, I spent 2 yrs of self taught dev then a janky, free full-stack bootcamp that led to my first tech job @$80k. Within the first 4 month at this midsized company, I was dealing with imposter syndrome until I realized I held the most knowledge about the tech stack and platform from all the labs and workshops I've done. That's when I was promoted to Solution Architect and DOUBLED my salary. Make the move!!!!
What tech stack? I’m familiar with Django and react js and material ui and bootstrap. I’ve built a site and script that scrapes data and put it into a database and displays it on the site. My question to you is how much of the stuff do you have to memorize to be considered a full stack developer
@@oblivion7300 honestly, enough to build a few apps from end-to-end. Full life-cycle of development. Don't just follow the tutorials, but build things from scratch. You got it!!
Honestly the best bar from the whole interview was her saying “make a move”. It sounds so basic but you will be way ahead of everyone else who are scared to take action or trying to learn everything.
I love her journey! I’m currently in a boot camp studying coding, and I’m STRUGGLING with learning JavaScript, but I love how she mentioned despite her issue learning coding, she had her end goal in mind and knows who she is! That is truly a great perspective, and I’ll take that moving forward!
I love how honest this is. I'm in the industry and am trying to grow myself but she is so spot on with everything. So many of these tech interviews like hell yea I believe we can get to 500k but it's just not the most real story for people starting out (0-4 yrs in)
Beez your channel is so real, informative and encouraging. The tech industry is so vast! Knowing who you are and what you desire is a golden nugget!.....Thanks Teezy!!
Idk if i wanna do System Engineering or Software Engineering. I'm currently a Multimedia Designer and I'm trying to pivot. I've done coding with multimedia design but I've also been interested in creating circuit boards so idk.
For all watching… please make a move !!! Don’t be stagnant. Find what tech sector interests you and get started.
Thanks for that....I am viewing Symon stuff now to help with the START...thanks 4 motivation
The energy in this entire interview is infectious. I was smiling the whole time and I don't know why 😂
Aw, this makes me happy 😁😂 .. thank you 🙏🏽
