Him saying "I did it for the money" is relatable. Too many times I talk to people who say you should only be in tech if it's your passion and you live and breathe it daily. For me it's a skill like any other. Not every electrician, welder, carpenter, etc loves what they do. But it pays them to enjoy the things they do like to do.
Getting ready for my first CompTIA cert. Your videos keep me motivated I swear. Thank you
Same. Just bought Prof. Messer bundle today, so I can intense study for my holiday starting. 26th nov
@@jacobharris954 make sure you got your practice tests in order. Whatever works for you, you should be good. I got a lot of info from Reddit reviews
Me too. In starting python in January!!!! Cant wait to see how the next few seasons go for me and my family
@@jacobharris954 I have yet to use messer I noticed he is straight to the point thought I like that. Hope it works for you
Glad you’re back Beez! These videos keep me motivated on my journey to get my security+
your content is fire!! thank you for launching it for real... we need to see us in tech!
This is dope. This is exactly what I'm doing now. Love to see our people doing it!
Great video and a real eye opener!
To be honest i have watched a lot of podcasts but you ask the very best questions like the right questions that are undoubtedly relevant and necessary ❤
Ms. Beez is in the house! Another great video, thank you
I just subscribed! I binged watched the channel! Just bought your course too! Trying to find Calaunte’s course as well. 🙏🏿 thank you! thank you! thank-you!
The young brother is killing it! I'm studying IT myself.
I love these videos Symone… very insightful

Love the content. I’m doing real estate full time but can’t stop obsessing over tech. Learning to code now in my spare time and eventually I want to do exactly what my man here is doing. Low overhead plus your helping people solve problems
This lady has a great channel love this thank you for all the good work your doing.
Great content and you are correct softskills are extremely important.
Signing up for 100Devs now! Thank you!
I love these videos, glad to see making it. These videos are on point, I am studying for CCNA, I got my eye on Data as well. I am so motivated when I see Symone do these Vids. Keep doing your thing. i.m on my way
Beez, you are on your game with the questions and proof of work. We are truly a culture with imposter syndrome and being able to the see the other side of our doubt speaks in volumes. THANKS A BUNCH!!!
Great video as always Symoné. As someone with background in investing I should really go into data analytics for real!
Really enlightening video
I stumbled into govtech (more on analytics and mlops side) but realized almost too late what an amazing springboard I had in my lap. It’s a highly respected career, highly stable, and there’s so much opportunity to move clients closer to what their commercial counterparts have been doing. Love these videos and that tweet was savage as it should have been
Good to see Calunte here. I worked with him on a project for an AWS Cloud partner company. He is very good at what he does.
Happy Thanksgiving!❤❤❤ Love the Excellent Content! Thank you for inspiring!
Great interview!!
This is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm impressed to go back on my software security developing degree and brush off from there, thanks for our people out there for the encouragement
Great video, very inspiring especially for younger people. Love representing HBCUs.
Great content. Thank you for sharing. I am a DevOps/Data Engineer in NYC. Transitioning into the Data Scientist space. I have my own LLC as well. ChanceTEK LLC.
I wish both of you continued success...
Wow. I absolutely appreciated this video and all your content. It's such a blessing. Florence Scovel Shinn is an amazing author. Your word is your wand is one of my favorites from her. I love seeing how these faith principles are being applied to actually achieve success. Great video
amazing thank for the content
Super dope! I’m doing the exact same thing with my LLC. Not quite at his level yet but I’m hoping I can take this thing to new heights going into 2024
So i have my LLC now, I'm assuming I can reach out to recruiters for c2c contracts?
I love Derek Grace. Much respect.
Amazing, Symone.....Any link to Calaunte's course that he mentionned?
Thanks alot Symone
I want to know something...
How is he getting companies to hire his company?
I have struggled with that part.
This man is a legend he went from 70K to 100K in 30 days! 😮😂
So when it comes to the data engineering role, would you say it’s better to go the college or cert route?
No cap! I live in the DMV and I know for a fact these black people are making this money. For 12 years I owned a business and I was partnered with CACI. I focused on VMWare and HP blade enclosure technology. Basically data center virtualization. I got burnt out with the biz and accepted a government job at CISA. I’m a GS 15, I get cyber pay and I’m also a 100% disabled veteran. I’m not making as much as I did with the biz, but I’m doing ok. Hell, I may step back out and start another LLC. I focus on cybersecurity nowadays. I’m happy to see these brothers getting money. #Xsignalsoldier
Smart guy
What's the link to his course?
Been following him on twitter for a few months, he’s a beast! Definitely inspiring 💪🏿💪🏿

@@symonebeez thank you for all you do! Huge inspiration for all of us 💪🏿 and will do
Symone I know you focus on American black tech people. Any advice for u.k peps. Thanks sis
@symonebeez hello Symone.
Will you do an interview on the tax side of making 6 figures. What tax strategies can be employed to keep as much of the income as possible. What tax shelters would be beneficial for someone getting that Hundred K!
Whats the info on his course?
Happy for him, he make 450k but how much did he keep?
Good job brother, nice car
Im starting in GovTech in 2024, offer signed -- I'm interested in how to manuvuer to this route -- LLC and multiple contracts. Can we connect?
Symone you are a motivation for me! I just want to know that if someone is non US resident like he is living in asia, He also can apply for US gov tech jobs ?
Very unlikely fot a classified role. I work with a lot of foreign national, far as I'm aware they are NOT eligible for U.S Security Clearances. You HAVE to be a U.S Citizen.
Hey, I wanted to know what that certification was that is required to take on government contracting?
Do c2c engineers have to do daily meeting with the dev team at the company or do they usually just work alone and report to the company when there finished their tickets? Anybody with experience with c2c can you describe how this works?
🔥🔥🔥
He killin it. I’ve been following him for a while on Twitter. Wasn’t sure if he was legit. I’m definitely going to make that switch into DevOps asap
@@Kaity11 why would he be legit? I've been naive about social media people before. You never truly know.
After taxes, benefits, money put back into the company, and 401k. Wouldn't net pay be about 100k or 200k? I'm just like you guys. I have 14 years in the tech world. Wouldn't mind helping out AA start-up companies with projects using a 1099.
450K?!!! Yeah he winning winning!!
The audio of the video is poor.
God speed. Happening to me too.
He's a business owner the title is a little i complete
College, military or get out. Yep Sounds about right!
Is anyone in the comments willing to mentor me? Google security cert in the bag, about to take my Sec+ exam. I would love some help from a willing mentor
let's connect, I'm on the Software development side though... I got a meeting with my mentor Thursday; he's a CEO & been contracting with the government for years; he actually gave me my 1st internship back in 2014 while I was in my undergrad. If only I knew back then what I know now.... but yea if you got any questions... I plan to visit his facility soon and have a sit down on this government contracting thing...
❤
I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Samantha Jack. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.
I think she trades for everyone I meet. I met her twice at a meeting in Connecticut and after her lectures from Samantha I had to personally ask her to be my financial advisor. she is definitely good
I have been following since two months.
I taught myself coding for two years and have been working as software engineer contractsnt.
Try to get into government jobs
This brothers are really making a good money in IT/ EUA.
😂😂😂
Looking this video I realize that I am spend my time for survive and not for living my best life with all my skills.
So, I have an University degree in Electronic Engineer & Computer Science. And more than 12 years of experience working in Europe companies, like German, Spain and others but get six figures it is great and good...
😂😂😂
Bro I can do part of your job for 80K per year... I am really very skilled.
Was the audio off in this video? Couldn’t get through it and stop 2 minutes in. Should be looked into.
they laid off 2 devops engineers at my company.................just be careful what you listen to and believe on the net
I did it for the money honestly. LMAO!!! Hell yeah. That makes sense.
Not to be negative but these salaries seem crazy like really 450k a year sheesh
It's Not a Salary. He's 1099 , takes private contracts. Essentially he runs a company, so that's reasonable if one puts in the work to obtain the contracts & delivers the work with the help of Subcontractors if needed.
A lot of black people in tech are gatekeepers…they are not that easy to network with
maybe little more diversity
🫡 Salute to this young brother and all he has and will continue to accomplish. Much success 💯
I been a .net developer for a year now for local government... I need to talk to this guy, what is his Instagram? CTC contracts? How can i do the same... Someone put me on game 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Wow that's amazing. 🥲 450k/a year???
This dude is killing it! Keep pumping out the great content Beez!
