Thank you so much! Please keep these videos coming. I'm 74, life-long gardener and have learned so much from you! Wonderful videos and I applaud you for opening your life up to us.
UA-cam is such a strange environment. We really do feel a connection to the people whose videos we watch. Thank you so much for opening up your background and life. I love your videos even more after knowing a little more about you.
I know what you mean. I feel a bond with the people I follow. The more videos I make and the more supportive comments that come in make me as a content creator feel closer and closer to the people watching.
Corey you had me crying. I heard you say you wanted to read a comment that meant a lot to you and then saw it was my comment. I'm so glad you saw it. You have truly helped me to feel proud in my work. I wanted you to know the impact you have on those of us who can't visit and thank you in person (at least not this yr). I'm currently working on coming up with a story to tell my family on why I needed to travel halfway across the country try to go "shopping". It's not my fault they'll think I'm shopping for groceries and not flowers. They should know me better.😅
Thank you Corey. It was great getting to know you on a personal level. I love the fact you and Liam are personally caring for Pat. It is truly an honor caring for our parents during this phase of life. I was able to care for my parents and how my husband is carding for his Mom. As hard as this slice of life is, it is the most humbling thing I have ever done in my life and I do not regret one minute of it. Hospice is awesome service and I hope Pat continues to be comfortable during this transition. I know this is personal and if you (and Liam) are so inclined, please keep us posted on Pat, she seems like a beautiful soul! I will lift you all in sprit.
I absolutely LOVED this video!!! For so many reasons. You are so relataeable and I love that. Tx for all you do for us fellow gardeners! Just telling us that it’s ok to focus on one liitle area that brings us joy and not stress about making our gardens and yards showplaces is such a relief, so to speak. Thanks for sharing your history as well it brings even more of a connection with you and its so appreciated🥰
Hello from Saskatchewan, Canada prairies .I loved this video! Getting to know about you and your family and life was like visiting with a good friend. We have been on our acreage for 40+ years and people say our yard looks like a park but it sure didn't happen all at once. I absolutely agree with your advice about planting landscaping ,a few low maintenance shrubs in the yard to start and a pretty basket or planter to feed the soul is not so overwhelming to care for and is very gratifying . I'm so glad that I found your channel.
You and your husband are such wonderful humans! This was so kind of you to share your own life and journey. We all have stories and sharing yours lets us all know we are not alone, is encouraging and inspiring! Thank you so much!❤️
That was fascinating Corey, thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to get to know you better! I loved the bread story, yes there are good people everywhere! 🇨🇦👏🇨🇦
Just when I thought I couldn’t love you more, you go and make a video like this. I’m always grateful that you share your knowledge and now your history. My prayers go out to your mother in law and all of the family members taking care of her. It’s an honor, but very difficult for many reasons, please remember to nurture each other as well during these trying times. You’re a blessing.
I discovered your channel a couple months ago. Thanks for sharing your knowledge & personal history. Brought home another plant yesterday & swore I was finished buying last week when I bought a perennial on sale. I love the challenge of trying to get my petunias to perform their best. Please don't stop sharing. Thank you.
I totally agree with the last comment you read in the video jessica i think was the name , tou do educate us plant people in such a way we can understand it and you dont intimidate us so we actually prectice the knowledge you give us ,, thank you ... i hope you know this channel is going to become huge so much larger then you can imagine.
There are ABSOLUTELY NO WORDS to express my gratitude to you for this video!! It has touched me in so many ways!! I only wish that I could live in your “neck of the woods” and be able to speak to you personally!!! This is coming from a grateful, grateful heart!! I feel in you I have found a kindred spirit!!
Corey, I've been watching your channel since last summer and you are a delight! Thank you for sharing some of your story with us. All the best to you and your wonderful family!
Thanks so much for sharing your personal life with us. I wish I lived closer so I can visit your family’s nursery and speak to you personally. I found your channel a couple of months ago and have learned so much from you. You have such a kind and gentle manner of speaking and I always look forward to your videos. 🤗
Corey - thank you for this wonderful video. I followed a couple of your 'recipes' this year and I'm so thrilled with how gorgeous they are. You live in a beautiful state, I'm a neighbor from Wisconsin. Again, thank you!!!
I love this!! Thanks for sharing all that with us! Love you love your story love your channel! Wish I'd have found you sooner. Ive learned a lot from you and your videos, and love that we're both native Michiganders. ❤
I love plants, pretty much all at one time or another. Love, love your videos. Try to watch them all. If I see one pop up that I haven’t watched yet, I am excited to watch. You do a great job always!
Thank you Cory. I knew you came from good stock! Thank you for such a detailed history of your family and your educational and work background. now I feel like I know you better. My mother had a green thumb, we always had the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood growing up. I did inherit that from her and I put a lot of love into my garden and I even do both of my neighbors flowers each year. They give me full reign to do whatever I want. It’s how I am able to talk with people; it’s kind of my ministry. I do love putting interesting combinations together, and watching your videos has given me new ideas for 2025. As soon as I get some pictures together, I will be sure to send them. Thanks again Cory for what you do. - Sandee from Dayton, Ohio
Thank you for opening up and giving us a bit of back ground on you and your family it all adds another important layer and brings us in closer. Always look forward to your next video. Happy growing season from Connecticut
I recently discovered you and I have really enjoyed everything you have shared. Most of all I enjoy you- you are calming and encouraging. Thanks a million.
Thank you Cory for sharing with us! We sure enjoy all your videos! We live in southwestern Michigan but if we get a chance to get up North this fall we def will stop in! God bless you and your family
Hi Corey, thanks for this history lesson. It was very interesting and you're an excellent narrator.....so great to listen to. I've just found you recently....about a month ago. You have helped me so much already......just basic knowledge I had no clue about. Anyways, thank you! Love your videos and look forward to all of them! 🙋🌺🌹💐🪷🏵️💮🌷🌿🌲🌻
Your advice was so on point! I went from the lady who killed all plants to buying my first daylily that survived to having 80+ varieties to slowly branching out to different plants, all in 10 years. I love to try all manners of plants, seeding, and propagating. Please keep up the good work, I learn something from you every time I watch your videos 😊 Btw, my husband and I drove around Ireland and N.I. for 2 weeks and had the best adventures ever!
This video was so much fun to watch. I hope you do more of these. I have learned so much from this channel, I have so many beautiful flowers around my house because of you. I especially love it's from MI as that's where I live, too. You're my favorite UA-cam gardening channel, keep doing exactly what you're doing!
Hey Yooper! I have so enjoyed this video. I have loved every one of your videos. I have learned so much from you! But this one was special. It was great learning about you personally and hearing about the history of your family's garden center. You come from good stock! Your family was so resourceful. BTW, I am a Michigander as well. I grew up in a little town close to Lapeer. I now reside in Tennessee but Michigan will always be my home too.
A great story. Thanks for sharing. I’ve been with you since the bread days. Love your place. Best plants, best service, and great people.❤️❤️I love the early order for annuals.
This was so interesting. My daughter has a graphic design degree. hearing what other creative jobs can use this skill really made my day. Thank you for sharing personal details, i feel social media only gives us the happy content but really we can learn from hearing others handle life in general and feel not so alone.
Great video! Thanks so much for sharing. I also loved Jessica's comment. I too, took your advice on reducing the amount of plants I put in my containers and WOW what a difference. I've also been fertilizing every third watering. Thank you for all you do. Enjoy your day.
Loved this video! It was so nice to get to know your background! I think you’re just a kind, kind soul 🥰🥰 Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge with this community 😉😉
thank you for sharing your story. I always enjoy your videos and tips. I'm wondering of you can share some ideas for perennials that flower that don't mind wet feet. the area our snow piles up on each year is such a struggle. I'm in Wisconsin just outside of Milwaukee so we have snowy winters. thank you
Boy, are you ever right about focusing on 1 area at a time. We bought property in WI and tried to do most of it at 1 time. The work we created for ourselves was ridiculous. We had to move or dismantle almost everything we originally did. It was exhausting. 10 yrs later, it's better but we now focus on 1, maybe 2 areas a season along with keeping up with the established areas. It's a lot easier now. It's been a long time getting it to this point.
I think that’s the biggest lesson is that by working on smaller chunks you get to know how you use your spaces. If everything was completed the way I first envisioned them, the spaces would never have lasted.
Corey, thanks so much for answering my questions. What a wonderful family that you have. And an interesting life. I admire a family that works together. I’m wondering if you could figure out how to receive pictures from your followers. I’d love to see what everything is growing 😊. Praying for Grace and Mercy for Miss Pat ❤
Hi Corey 😊 today I stopped at a vegetable stand that sold on the honour system like you said your mom had done. I bought corn and one Spanish onion that weighs over a pound 😅 I left them a tip because I’d heard that someone took their cash box 😢 So kind of a bittersweet experience

Thanks for the tip on the profusion zinnia in an earlier video. I bought them and they are so beautiful!
Great job and always great advise. Thanks for sharing.
I remember going there and digging up flowers from your front yard. Before any of the greenhouses.
Dude you're in Marquette!...I'm in Munising, we'll have to meet up someday!
