Excellent instructions. I watched your video and had it apart in probably 20 seconds. Not sure why people online are saying this is a stupid way to take apart a pistol by Beretta. It was extremely easy and safe to do given that you can bypass pulling the trigger to disassemble. Now off to the range to try it out!

You are the only one who mentioned that the slide has to be back just a little in order to disengage the striker with the button. I was going crazy trying to push the button in. Also, that slide release button is tough. I hope it breaks in with use. Thanks for the great video.

thanks, if you look at the beretta apx and apx a1 full size manual online you see there that that is shown like that. if you dont move the slide backwards an bit the spring power inside is to hard and you cant disconect the sear from the striker...

Took mine to range for first time today and since then getting that takedown lever to go is much easier. I only shot 200 rounds through it.

Great video, thanks! You're right, the instructions in the manual are not very good and I was really struggling to take the APX apart. But you did a very good job of explaining how to do this, and now I am surprised by how easy it is to disassemble this pistol. Much appreciated.

Thank you for this great video... I struggled with getting the lever far enough out. I really had to push hard on it. Your explanation clarified the procedure. Now I can field strip the gun very easily....

Always good to have options. There's absolutely a market for it. Same as thumb safeties, just a matter of preference.

do you have a video on whether a person should oil an AR or leave them dry? I hear both sides. Some people oil the bcg and some don't also some oil the trigger group and some don't.

Sportman's Warehouse has the full size with the Burris red dot for $449.99 and a $50 rebate. I got the last one at my store. The computer didn't ring up the sale price. They had to check it in their computer and then enter it manually.
