Hey there. Thank you so much. I would get in touch now to show you're interested for sure. Then you can see what the coaches will say and what they're looking for and keep an eye on you. Sometimes they have standards so it's good to talk directly to the coach. When reaching out, make sure to 'big yourself up' and show what you've done as ultimately that's what they are looking for!
Hey. I live in Switzerland and all my school documents are in German and the grading system is different (numbers not letters). Is that a problem? I’m guessing I just need to get the documents translated, right? Is it also a problem applying as an 19 year old? Great vid btw rly helpful.
Hey, it's not a problem at all. From what I remember, I had to send my results to some company in the USA that translated my UK grades into a US equivalent - So yeah, you'd just need them translated. It's not a problem applying as a 19 year old, I was 20 when I made a submission - You can apply at pretty much any age before 22!

Hey, I came in as a second semester Freshman. I transferred from a UK college but the application is exactly the same. I did the ACT ONLY. You only need to do one of those! The SAT is most popular however!

I'm Brazilian, I'm 18 years old and I'm a beginner in Men's Volleyball (I've never participated in championships), and I'm VERY interested and a giant LOVE for Volleyball, but I'm in my senior year at the moment, I feel I'm LATE compared to players who have played since childhood :(. My dream is to play Volleyball in the USA, and for that I have to go through several processes and such. What are the chances and tips you would give an International Athlete to get a Sports Scholarship (I don't have a very good financial condition ...) and the only thing you have is PURE PASSION and a lot of WILL to be a player ??

D1 runs on a 4 year clock so as soon as you finish high school I think it runs. If not, you only have until 21/22. D2 there is no age limit I don't think!
The VISA comes with being accepted. Once you've been accepted you'll get all the documents to go to the US embassy in your country and they'll approve your new student Visa.

So you were a 1st year student in your country, when you go there, did they put you back to 1st year student from beginning, or they proceed to put you on 2nd year?

Go to the college websites and look at 'International Student forms' If you're looking at the sports route then email the coach!

Yes you can. Follow these instructions but do it as soon as possible. Look at Division 2 as well as there is NO age limit.

What about health insurance?
Health Insurance is often part of the scholarship if you're on full ride. Otherwise it is about 500 dollars a year.

Depending on your age you might be able to go to a D2 school - with 1.50 you will get a FULL scholarship.
Are A- level’s essential or are b tech courses ok ?
They care more about the SAT or ACT. BTEC is fine.

Around January of the same year. The whole process took about a year from the first email :)

Yep, just use the Soccer roster instead and use Soccer specific terms!
