i own this game too, and while it is cute, i wasn't too thrilled with it. one problem i had was that it was hard/expensive to use the special action cards. seems very hard to save to buy them and only 1 or 2 or 3 were used each games. One of my pet peeves is games that have a ton of cards but you don't get to use them. I understand replayability, but if you're going to make cards, let us use them and become familiar with them.
I agree somewhat....mostly the energy cubes are a way for bad rolls to eventually add up to something powerful. In our games people really go after the "keep" cards because they often have huge advantages that you can use forever.
House rule is the easy solution; we double the number of cubes rewarded. You gain em quicker so you can buy the lower cards sooner. If you want, do that AND halve the cost of the cards as well.
Maybe it depends on playstyle/preferences but when i play with friends we always have multiple cards bought. Perhaps you guys focus more on attack/heal/victory points relative to energy.
This is easily the best teach video for this game I've seen on UA-cam. Thanks!
That's very kind. Thank you!
very good tutorial. Helped me learn
So clear and concise, thanks man!

@@izmeuhu697 Same. Our group loves the cards and often each player has several keeps by the end of the game.
one of my favorite games!
I am unclear on a rule. If I were to roll 3 "3" dice and then roll three "2" dice can I keep them for a total of 5 VP???
Yes if you end your rolls with those results, you would get five points.
@@TeachTheTable thanks! new to your channel and it's great!
Excellent job!
Thank you very much for the explication. I will be playing the game now
