This is the most honest vlog I've seen from a Tesla guy. It's definitely a different way of traveling having to plan so much around where your next charge will be from and how far and how fast you can go. Thanks for the video.
Alyssa .. you are truly one amazing woman .. you are so helpful and active doing most of the heavy lifting . wish my wife was more like you lol .. Kyle is one lucky man .. you both are perfect together.. Kyle is funny and soft you are strong and amazing.. perfect match you both complement each other always remember that. Keep up the amazing content Kyle .. you both rocking this major road trip!
I realize this vid was about the car but it seemed that Alyssa was having a good time and appreciate hearing her takes. I can't imagine camping out there. We stayed in motels! So do you now understand what "Big Sky" is?
As a dad who road tripped to Highlands, NC this weekend (lotta Teslas in town), I was so thankful to be able to relax tonight and watch the latest installment from my couch after our trip! Thank you guys for giving me a fantastic way to decompress! Lastly...not only does Alyssa share in workload, driving, camp prep, dog care, etc.; she also eats cold pizza for breakfast! My God man, this travel series better end with you on one knee if you know what I’m saying! Continued safe travels and keep the content coming!!!
Allen White No, I don’t have a Tesla yet. Saw a couple Model S’, a couple Model X’s, and one Model 3 between Highlands and Franklin. I will be in the market soon, but I’m torn between an CPO MS 75D or a new M3 long range AWD.
Thanks for taking me along on this segment of your trip. I have reserved a cybertruck and was taking with some friends this morning. Talking about number of charging stations. They got out the map. They remarked how difficult it would be in north and South Dakota. You made it look doable. Hope I can get them to watch this. Will have the rest of the trip.
Even the wife is watching this as it’s so interesting. The charging is an issue in UK. It shows with planning what’s achievable seems much better over there. Safe rest of trip.
I'm in the same position as you are Steve. Normally, my laughs at me watching yet another Tesla video but she's now watched all four episodes and really likes the way Kyle explains issues and overcomes them (a wet towel anyone).
I really love this series. A triple-thumbs up! Lovely scenery. Reminds me of the tens-of-thousands miles of motorcycle travels and about six travels on Going To The Sun highway. Not bad for a Sioux Falls flat-lander. Keep up the good work.
These long form videos are your new niche-great content and narration! Enjoying the views this great country has, and along the way showing EV trips are the way to go. Travel safe!
It's pretty wild to see the interest from people... I think we are the only ones who benefit from longer videos on UA-cam. I will likely have to start another channel (other than One Lap) for all of the other stuff to keep the algorithms happy with out road tripping.
My wife and I have a lab and a golden and are about to pull the trigger on a Model 3 in the next few months. I convinced her it could work with the dogs by her watching your channel with me! Keep up the great work!
Yay!! Congrats, love it! Plenty of room, but if we didn’t pull the trigger on the performance (due to the enticing of free charging for two years) we would of gotten the Y for even more room for them!!
Wife and I are a couple of empty nesters. We just made our first long range road trip in our Model 3 from Dallas, TX to Estes Park, CO. The only reason my wife would go is because your videos convinced her it was possible. We had an amazing time. After watching the latest video she now want to go camping and has agreed to get the Cybertruck. Kyle and Alyssa keep having a great time and safe travels. Cannot wait for the next video. Your newest Patreon supporter.
Another great video; love watching the road trip. I drove through Glacier National Park on the way up to Alaska....was blown away by its beauty. Didn't think the car was gonna get me into Canada. If my memory is correct, it was like over 5 hrs in between superchargers, but the car made it just fine.
Fantastic episode!!! Great to watch you guys (from the Alps) - you make me smile during this travel ban. If ever you guys come to Geneva region give a shoot at us- happy to show you around the marvels and our dogs 😜
Thank you for taking us along on your road trips!! I have been stuck at home recovering from open heart surgery last month. I only managed to put 5k miles on my model 3 that I purchased July 2019 due to health issues, covid, working from home. But all this will change next month, I plan on starting some short road trips as I will be almost fully recovered. So excited!! 😀
Wow just watched your video and at first honestly being this long of a video I thought I wasn’t going to watch the whole thing and being such a good video I actually did and really enjoyed it. Working for an airline I usually just fly to explore pleases but after watching this I really want to do a similar road trip when I get my model 3 in the next couple of weeks. This was awesome!
Omggg I just did the drive west through ND and had the same headwinds. I saw the sculpture ads but didn’t stop. For sure I will heading back east - thanks for including it in this video!
I did glacier park 5 years ago by train with stays at glacier park lodge and many glacier lodge. The going go the sun road Is spectacular. Thanks for the memories
Absolutely love this trip. Reminds me of my wife and I as young adults. We also went to Glacier National Park. No dog at the time but still such an adventure. Didn't know there was charging in many of these places. You make it look easy to plan but I know you spend many hours researching and verifying your next sites. Much appreciate your excellent video skills and Alyssa's fun spirit. Not easy living in a sedan for weeks at a time and with two dogs. Have followed every minute of this trip. Thanks for the great adventure.
Great trip and great job with the editing. Just having Sunday Morning coffee, doing some stock chart analyses on one screen and your show on the other screen. Very enjoyable. Makes the wife and I want to take a similar road trip across the northwest. Since we are more than twice your age we will skip the camping and focus on the hotels (except for the one Days Inn). Continued safe travels and thanks to both of you for all your hard work to give others the opportunity to to view the trip.
Your videos are GREAT!!! I have test driven the model 3 and Y, seriously thinking of buying one for my channel because OMG! Teslas are truly amazing to drive and more people need to make the change to EVs. You and your GF seem to have an amazing life and love that you guys have the freedom to live the life that you want. Drive safely
Maybe some have mentioned already. I didn’t read all the comments. Congratulations on your popularity. I was taught your ground tarp should not extend beyond the footprint of your tent. It’s purpose is to protect the tent from the moisture in the ground (and from tears or abrasion from rocks, roots & sticks). If the tarp extends beyond the tent floor should it rain the water would be caught & guided under the tent. It will be as if you set your tent up in a basin.
TR park sure is scenic - is one of the next places I want to camp at when I next make the northern crossing. Glad you filmed more than just Tesla stuff and charging stations!
Just discovered you guys! I’m a model 3 owner from melbourne Australia and we’re back in stage 4 lockdown so this is a nice escape for me to watch! Plus we were in the US this time last year so it’s almost a good little memory too! Thank you for sharing and can’t wait for the next part!

I love your roadtrips! I’m waiting for my model 3 but your videos do help to handle the days of anticipation. Delivery time is a bit longer in Germany due to corona. Keep doing your work, can’t wait to get back to the states
Did not expect to watch this entire video but I ended up watching every single second of it. You made this video extremely interesting and gave a great glimpse of traveling with a Tesla. I’m looking to buy one soon and your video definitely made me love the vehicle even more. Great video!!
I really love fact the Kyle takes so much of his time to record and edits these videos even while driving across the USA. He cares a lot about supporters and thats something that not everyone dose!
Absolutely, positively one of the best travel videos visa vie Tesla videos I have seen, very positive and fun. Now, I’m looking at the model 3, and the model X. I’ve never seen either in person. But you eased my nerves somewhat about charging stations. I mean if Minot can have one, what the heck. Great job!

Can't get enough of these road trips. America is beautiful!
