Harbor Freight Titanium MIG170 Welder

Can the Harbor Freight Titanium MIG170 Welder weld thicker steel with the 120V input? In this video I review the Titanium MIG170 welder’s ability to weld thicker steel like 1/8” and 3/16’ mild steel. Nothing fancy here, I just made a butt weld with the suggested chart settings on the machine for both of the thicknesses. This allowed me to give my opinion of the results of the machine, not so much my welding ability. I am not a certified welder by any means, and this is not a how to weld video. I would love to know your thoughts in the comments of the video. 
My inverter welder setup is on a Harbor Freight welding cart. This welding cart is affordable and keeps my CO2 bottle secure with the chain. This welding cart also house is all of my welding necessities.

Can a 120V welder really be a serious welding machine? What are your thoughts about the welds in the video? I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments below.⤵️

Pro tip: You can get passable depth on 1/4” steel with a 120 on shorter welds if you preheat the connections to a dull orange using a gas torch.
You must have a genuine feel for what the weld is doing though, like riding a weld to white heat without burning, under or overheating. It involves using bursts to perfection.
Forget the charts, learn to feel exactly where your settings need to be - because no two pieces of steel are exactly alike.

It will not. There is a spool gun available for this model that can weld aluminum.
