I would prefer a stock supra with just a downpipe, exaust, airfilter and tune. Of course some Japan Racing JR3 wheels, and a blowoff valve for some sweet sounds when dumping the boost. and no more than 450 hp. that is 130 more than stock on the top of the line model.

I rebuilt the motor in a year and a half before getting another motor. Just so I can not have it registered and only drive it for 45 minutes throughout the year and a half.

I still don't understand why you are gonna swap the engine. I would keep the 2j stock and maybe do some minor modifications. But that's just my opinion.

The Supra he has now is a NA version, There was a few 2JZ's for example the 2JZ-GTE has arguably better oil ducts in the block itself than the GE, and the 2JZ-GTE VVT-I has variable valve timing, which is still a debate if the GTE or GTE VVT-I is better, a lot of people claim the VVT-I is harder to tune, which is true, but most shops know how to tune it now-a-days. So there's differences across all the different 2JZ's personally what I wanted to swap into my s13 240 was a 2JZ-GTE with the VVT-I before I decided I wanted something AWD.
He has a NA motor thats why, he is going to try get the head of a GTE, basically it's all about power and reliability

Sounds great man! I have that same thing on my 93 tt 6spd. Currently swapping to 68 mm turbo, 272 cams, and 4" exhaust. Now will be really loud I think lol.

I have those hypermax coolovers on my s2k and they are the most solid handling ive ever felt on a jdm car. They are probably the best choice for a japanese car
The exhaust it came with isnt loud enough but I like that it's got a deep throaty sound, but the new 1 is louder and still pretty deep and throaty, but it looks like by the exhaust tip its bouncing up and down alittle bit

Drew make sure those jack stands are not part of the harbor freight 3 and 6 ton jack stand recall. I had i set of them they exchanged for me and man its scary to see how easily it was to make them fail. Great video and the new exhaust sounds amazing!!

To make more power besides a turbo you should Bore out your pistons...it’ll add a lot of horsepower and it’s relatively east if you have an engine stand

Lol I have a 96 corolla it makes me happy to see they use the same key ding noise and glove box handle on the supra
I don't want to come off as a Tipster Tim but take a second look at the exhaust hangers, I was seeing quite a bit of movement from your tailpipe. I don't want to see you damage the bumper or new exhaust. Looked like there was a bit more movement than I would be comfortable with.
