Hello, I have a current Samsung tablet. I remove the card on the battery and power it up by applying power to the +- terminals. However, as the tablet runs, it detects that there is a real battery and the battery percentage runs out and shuts down. Do you have any ideas about this?
Thanks a lot! But please what if I want to do it with 10 or more phones. I have looked at adjustable power supply, but hope you might have a good advice. The problem for me as a traveler is also weight, and space in the luggage. I need to remove the batteries, because it's not accepeted in the check in baggage, and also not to much in carry on. (I am also thinking about using power from my laptop)
Can you turn on all mobile phones or only one of them? It is important that mobile phone batteries have the same voltage and amperage. If the voltage and amperage are the same, you can connect female plugs to all mobile phones according to the video. When needed, connect the STEP-DOWN power supply to any one you want
The output voltages may dropped thats why it shows the battery only at 71percent. Your dc to dc converter may burnt for long time operation. You must use a higher amperage for prolonged operation.
Thank you for the important point you mentioned. According to you, can the voltage be increased by 30%? That is, whatever the battery voltage is, the power supply voltage should be about 30% higher?
It is a very good idea and method. But the lithium battery must be replaced after a few years. But the adapter never needs to be replaced. However, the 18650 battery makes the phone portable, which is a plus
The model of the mobile phone does not make a difference. You just have to be careful that the + and - pins of the power input in different mobile phones may be different Also, the voltage of the batteries of different brands of mobile phones is different. So, you must adjust the voltage output exactly according to the battery output We have launched this mobile phone for more than 2 years and it is working without any problem
@@newtecpro I put the module, 4,5V, and 15 kohm resistor between - and 3. contact. Battery level is 82% but it goes down over time. I didn't use the battery module because it got very hot, even though I only put 4.2V. There was also a problem with the start-up and the battery showed only 30%.....
@@warmachine676 I hope I understood your meaning well. Yes, you can specify the voltage that is equal to the original battery of the mobile phone. This voltage can be with an adapter or battery or other DC power sources that can precisely adjust the output voltage.
It works But a messege shows up "please make sure you are using a compatible battery and charger" when I connect charging(and Data together) cable to PC through USB Port for data transmission ,Will this damage the phone?Another problem is phone can't be turned on when regulated power and data transmission cable are both connected to the phone ,is it normal?
@@newtecpro I ignored, and the message fixed, but everytime when I press OK then the message appears again soon. How about the problem regarding to the phone can't be turned on when regulated power and data transfer cable(with +5V ) are both connected to the phone ,can explain? Thanks.
@@黃士熙-w5r If I understand correctly, your problem occurs when you connect the data cable. It is better to transfer data in another way. And use the mobile phone in this way as a fixed phone (only for answering the phone)
I did not understand your question correctly. But you can put an LED with a suitable voltage (equal to the output of the reducer module) on the output path so that it lights up when connected.
Is that safe.. because I have phone that I can't use because I don't have the budget to buy battery and it's also hard to find the type of battery... what is the usual voltage to start a phone..
This method is safe. As long as you choose the voltage accurately. Please check the output voltage of your mobile phone battery. The output should be exactly the same as the output voltage of the original mobile phone battery. Also, the power sockets in different devices may be different. Check which pins the + and - pins are connected to?
Yes, you are right to some extent. But it has these conditions. For example, you need a landline phone without the hassle of changing the battery. Here you can use the phone without battery without spending money. It is also a good idea in terms of not polluting the environment. Batteries cause a lot of damage to the environment.
This is fantastic, thank you. I use an old smartphone as a monitor for my security cameras, so it's always plugged in.
Thanks, yes, this idea of yours is also very good. Converting an old phone into a monitor for a CCTV camera.

wont work on most of the phones without 10k resistor between + and middle contact (thermistor in battery)

Can you check how much amps does it draw when booting up. Mine is not switching on.
This reducer module has an output of 2 amps. So below is 2A.
in my case i just power it using 18650 connected to 5v 2A step up regulator and the BMS from the old battery.

We have launched this mobile phone for more than 2 years and it is working without any problem
Since the resistor tricked the phone into thinking that a battery is present, why not then simply connect the power source into the phone USB port?
The output of the USB port is 5V while we need a 3.8V power supply here. So we have to bring it to 3.7 to 3.9V with the voltage reducer module
@@newtecpro I know. I am only interested in knowing whether the 3.9v can then go through the USB port instead of making a hole in the back cover.
@@lwh7301 No, this is not possible. Or at least we didn't find a way to do it
Can I use this module while connect phone to pc via usb cable?
Yes you can. This module is responsible for powering and powering the phone and does not have any other effect on the mobile phone
